    I was hospitalized after two suicide attempts best thing to ever happen to me.i felt safe when I was there

    yeah do everything you can to not be hospitalized! it's not a good experience. like you said: any hospital experience is not good. no one wants to be in the hospital. same goes for psychiatric visits. it's something you want to avoid.

    Check in your area for a Nami support group. They are free. Ours meets every second and fourth Monday of the month.

      I would but ours are in Atlanta which can be from 30 minutes to an 1 and a half to get there depending traffic
