That’s was great, I always wondered why some of them don’t have an opening, if the batteries can be changed, I wonder why they don’t have an opening. I just thought that once it stopped working they were no good.

Thanks much. I have a singing automated dancing Snoopy doll which fell from a shelf (only 1 yr old) and doesn't work now. I've googled topics to no avail. I don't know if it has a gear, band or sensor button issue, or simply needs new batteries. It was hardly used and didn't fall too far onto carpeting. Can you steer me in the right direction to diagnose the problem? I've read the boxed instructions but need to find a videoclip to show me how to repair it. Thank you much. PS Wish you lived nearby as I'd pay you to fix Snoopy.
Sounds like a gear or mechanism got dislodged The only way to fix is to take all apart and see what is loose or broken

I started watching the video and scrolling the comments. Your advice helped me fix the Blue Clues and You Walk and Play toy. My son played a little too rough with it and it would get stuck and not walk. I took it apart and just made sure everything was aligned. It worked! Thank you so much!!!
Hi I loved seeing how you fixed the stuffed animals, I have one I got from a thrift shop and it’s one of the baby music boxes that you turn from the outside and a lullaby plays. How would you remove it? Would it be the same I could just tear it at the bottom and put new batteries in(hopefully that’s what it needs).
yes sounds like you can go from the bottom and replace the batteries but i can't see it to be sure
Use vinegar on a qtip to get rid of the acid! works every time for me, even when they look bad. How does your Mom sew them up?
i open them up on the seem and she sews the seem back up
@@ZombieBargainHunter I love that your Mom is part of the process. My Mom was my "fixer" when it came to sewing, especially on those Quacker Factory sweaters. The beads and such would come loose, she would do her magic and sew them so you'd never know! She would also count game pieces, puzzles, all the tedious stuff, she did it while I was at work, she enjoyed it. She loved hearing how much her 'fixed' item sold for! It's been 11 years since I lost her, I used to honestly cry if I saw one of those stupid sweaters, or fabric or thread, her happy purchases for the cause! Let your Mom know how much help she is, not just for the money, we never say it enough! Thanks for the lesson, gonna order batteries for my talking Dug dog from UP now...
i bought a ratatouille bilingual talking plush from disneyland recently where if you press on one hand it speaks english and the other it speaks french and it was working fine for a month but suddenly the english hand stopped working. i rolled it down the stairs and now that side seems broken. i've rolled it down a few times before fine but i don't know if something happened this time. i tried replacing the batteries even though the french hand still works but it did not fix it. do you know what's wrong?
Great video, thanks. Question: I have a snoopy xmas plush that is supposed to light up its LED propeller when i press his paw. Put new batteries and propeller spins but LED Lights not working. Any idea how I can fix this? I cleaned battery terminals with alcohol n qtip to no avail.
Led lights lost connection you have to follow the wires and repair Could be a broken wire or leds were bad unfortunatelly that means opening up snoopy.

I have that pink hippo too but she hopefully just needs batteries, I haven’t tried yet but it was so cool seeing what she is going to do. I was wondering why you rip off the tags, can’t you get more with tags especially if they are in new condition?

I have several vintage Christmas carolers by T.L. Toys HK LTD that sing and interact together and also dance. They all still sing together but a couple of them no longer dance. Have you ever repaired this musical plush stuffed toy? They sing "We wish you a Merry Christmas." I figure there is a way to fix them, but I don't have a clue how to start. Thanks so much!
Sounds like the motor went out on them if they don't dance and you didn't drop them and Nothing is rattling Nothing you can really do unless you want to replace the motor by taking it apart.

How do you fix a bear in the big blue house ordered from eBay, should have kept my daughter's larger one. Anyway , squeeze it , moves it's nose but supposed to make sniffing sound , maybe say things. Changed batteries, rolled them etc.
Sounds like the sound box died. could be a broken wire or wire came loose to the box or the box malfunctioned. ive never worked on him so i cant say for sure whats inside him

Any suggestion on how to fix the buttons on a Leapfrog Twinkle Twinkle Violet? There are 3 buttons and 1 of the 2 buttons work. It is not the battery. I am thinking it is a connection to the buttons? They do
n't make the toy any longer.
Yeah that's probably a loose wire only way to fix is to open it up and either replace the wire if broken or resauder if disconnected. It's a real pain I don't usually bother.

I have some plushies that I don't know their names so it's hard to list them. How do you find their names if they don't have their tags or if the tags don't indicate the name?
I search like crazy and usually find them. I belong to a bunch of Facebook groups that help. Flipping hippos is the best plush place usually someone will know.

no i have hundreds to do myself. besides it would not be worth it shipping back and forth alone it would be better to find another that already works on ebay or mercari.

Do you know how to fix an old toy, such as a toy bear that played music? The batteries are accessible, however when I put them in it plays non stop and won’t shut off until the batteries are taken out. It’s from the 80’s. Help appreciated if you have suggestions!
Unless I can get inside and see what possibly could turn it off. There is no way for me to know. I mean it could be a jammed button a frozen lever something rusted. It could be a number of things.

Hi! I have a talking Daniel Tiger where the wires have detached from the button in his hand. If I touch the two wires together it makes the sounds just fine. Anything I can do? Thanks!
you have to solder the wires back to the button if you want it to work correctly again

Do you do wind up ones?
Wind up ones are either rusty inside bent somewhere or the spring inside is busted. try some rust dissolver if you see any then use some machine oil. if no then see if the winder is bent.

I need more information does it connect by plastic metal wires or just fabric. If it's just fabric get some fabric glue. Metal or wires may need soldering. Plastic best option is gorilla glue with reinforcement.

I watched this to try to fix my 2008 singing Rudolph plush. I replaced the batteries and no sound came out only the batteries got warm
May be a wiring problem or the box could be broken you can try cleaning the battery connections with alcohol
When my Lola hallmark plush is trying to move it’s ears it gets low

yes buy a new wire and solder the new wire or just solder the old wire if its still good

no but they are all almost the same usually a broken wire or bad connection that needs to be repaired.

I got it fixed. The wiring had some issues.
My Son has a "My Talking Tom" That he recently got and it already went silent. Its not the batteries unfortunately.. The toy has a button on the hand that acts as a record and play button. He loves this thing to death... Any ideas on what I can do?
What's funny is he also has a Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Plush toy with the exact problem! Button on hand without the record option.. It just plays songs...Well,

Probably the wires they break or come loose from the contact points from age or too much use.

Ho do you fix a battery operated plushie when new batteries don't work?
2 ways make sure the metal connectors are clean. use alcohol and a cotton swab. if that does not work then it usually is a broken wire or a broken metal connector. then we have to replace the wire by soldering it. i don't go that far anymore because i have too much and its not worth my time. good luck

There's a difference between repairing something and just replacing the batteries.
99% of toys are easy to repair Most are battery and sewing.
: Changing a battery is not considered a repair.
When something doesn't work and you fix it it's repair. If you want something fixed in depth let me know ill show you how.
