Their magnificent performance is like a gentle breeze , and comfortable to the ear and the mind , and full of admiration and emotion , and beyond description Their breathtaking performance is like a gentle breeze From Tokyo of the Land of the Rising Sun 🇯🇵
@@TheReverendJonnyNemo As a kid, coming from a working class back ground, this piece and the Pearl Fishers, in vocal duet form, used to bring me to tears, which I used to hide, because I thought there was something wrong with me ! Peace.
Great question🙌🙌🙌🙌!! It's probably due to the fact that the audiences at pop, rock and country performances are all continuously screaming and yelling one can't hear any coughing anyway. Just our bad luck that at the more sedate classical concerts all respiratory hell breaks loose! LOL, just don't cough out loud!
There is always someone in the crowd who needs some more attention. I am here, look at me, me, me. Or no self discipline. Or disrespect to the performers. They don’t need cough medicine or a doctor, they need a psychologist, or a kick in the butt (much cheaper).
It is about good microphones for the task: it would record only the instruments, not everything. Where the audio is recorded with the camera, you hear similar result.
bruh my band played this for the opener if our marching show finally found the vid it was based off of. we used a consort euphonium and tuba tho for the duet
The first part sounded a bit off balance because the "soprano" part by the lady on the left was to loud and pronounced and the little girl could not keep up the energy. At 3:18 they switch their parts, so now the girl plays the "soprano" part of the song and the lady on the left plays the "mezzo" part and its sounds completly different. Just watch the video back and compare the start to when they switch, the second halve is much more balanced.
Brilliant and so very enjoyable. Just feel cough drops should be handed over before all such recitals. Very annoying. One of my all time favorite piece.

Why does classical music always make someone cough?!

Is it possible to get the sheet music for this brilliant arrangement? Is it for sale? :)

The Any Instrument Concerto with Coughing Continuo. Apparently, a profoundly popular piece heard at most concert halls.
Hold that nasty cough in
