Hi guys, thanks for watching 😊 Oh those lamb cutlets were so good - the second time I had the lasagne and it was HUGE!! We had such a lovely waitress which I think made the experience even better 😊 Definitely worth pre-booking the dining package!
Hi Teresa 👋🏻 Thank you, and thanks for watching 😍 Have you been on a transatlantic cruise before or any others? We cruised a lot before we got our Motorhome but have a few lined up which is very exciting. Amanda & Mark x
We are going out of NY to South Hampton in England on Caribbean Anthem next week. We were going on Queen Mary 2 but she had problems in South Hampton and the trip was canceled.
@@teresadonaldson-smith3838 Oh how exciting!! You will love it! I’m guessing you are stopping in maybe Spain or somewhere on the way? Are you going to stay in the UK for a while or will you be flying straight home? We actually have 3 cruises lined up that all leave and return to Southampton which is new for us usually we have fly cruises 😍
@@AdventureswithAmandaandMark we are stopping in Azores and 2 stops in France. We will dock in South Hampton. We will be in London for a few days we fly to Florence. Spending time with friends. Then we are catching another cruise to Turkey and Greek islands ending up in Athens. Busy busy. Lol
@@teresadonaldson-smith3838 oh wow that sounds like an amazing trip and two cruises, how fantastic! I have done a few cruises in that area and there are some beautiful places. I read about the Cunard ship on the news this morning, how very strange. Anyway, hope you have an amazing crossing and enjoy London, Florence and your second cruise 😍 Amanda & Mark x
First time for us seeing this island, and you guys have captured a lot of it really well in this 20 minute video, and with loads of great facts. Looks spectacular and a great way to break up a transatlantic voyage.
Hi, yes the last time we went transatlantic to the Caribbean we were at sea for 8 nights without stopping, which we loved so that was good but it was nice to stop after a few days, especially for our friends who were on their first ever cruise 🚢 We really liked the island and think there would be a lot more to see but as you know you only get a little taster of what’s on offer when you stop on a cruise. Have you done a transatlantic before? Thanks for watching - Amanda & Mark 😍
@@AdventureswithAmandaandMark We haven't done transatlantic or a repositioning cruise, but have watched enough vlogs/videos and frankly love the idea of all those days at sea to totally get some downtime and fully enjoy all that these modern cruise ships have to offer.
@@BritsAbroadTravelCruise That’s what we loved too - having lots of time to explore the ship and enjoy all the entertainment onboard without feeling like we’re missing out because we want to get off in port and explore. Sometimes the transatlantic/repositioning ones work out quite cheap - this one was £899 including the flight!!!
Very beautiful tour! Subscriber 378 here! Lets stay connected! New friend from Hamburg here. in 2 months I am going to fly about the place where you are
Welcome to our channel Subscriber 378 and thank you for watching 😊 Where are you heading off to on your adventure? We thought the Azores were beautiful and somewhere we might return to one day 😊
Hi Willard, that’s a really good question and unfortunately we don’t know the answer. A couple of times we went to the SeaPlex for other things (table tennis and foosball) they weren’t on and when it was very choppy at sea and we weren’t allowed on deck they weren’t in use either. The court is also used for basketball and roller skating but we didn’t see these taking place neither did we see the circus school. Sorry we couldn’t help more - thank you for watching 😊
Hi Andre, this crossing was mid October last year. We took a mix of clothes as we stopped in the Azores but also Halifax and Boston and the weather was different in each place 😊 On the ship us girls were in jog bottoms mostly and the boys were shorts but in the evening we dressed up nearly every night - are you going from New York to Southampton?
@@AdventureswithAmandaandMark We will be traveling May 1st to the Azores France and England leaving from Newark New Jersey. We are planning on wearing sweat suits and to dress a little warm because it may be chilly during the time that we leave. Your thoughts....
Well we’ve never actually done a cruise that time of time year but the Azores we’re lovely and warm in October - not sure if you’ve seen our second video as that’s one of the places we visited and we were wearing dresses and shorts. France and England can be similar and you never know with the weather. Our trip to Halifax was grey and cool, Boston was boiling 🥵 and this was all in October. We did a transatlantic in November back in 2016 to the Caribbean (8 nights at sea) and don’t think we had to wrap up too warmly although it was quite choppy for the first few days - it might be like that for you guys when you get nearer to France and the UK
Great review. We too loved Jamie’s Italian. Those Lamb chops with the balsamic peppers were one of my favourite items on the menu
