Thank you for posting the updated video, there is nothing worse than years later people asking how something was fixed, with no answer. Looking forward to the updated Triumph review.
You finally found a bike you love. You must love it as it seems you have had the speed twin longer than any other bike I can recall. It is a fantastic bike though, I don't blame you.
Spot on! I’ve had it 2.5 years now and have no intention of selling it. The engine is the most exciting I’ve ever experienced in a motorcycle. Suits my riding style perfectly… but if they ever make a Speed Twin R with 150hp, I’ll be first in the queue😉
Awesome! Good show! And good on Triumph for thinking to make this possible. Now I just wonder what the other “types” are for…. Thank you for posting this update!
Question? Do you have the part numbers for the indicators you used? A friend has tried in the UK, and can only get the fronts or the rears to work but not both.
Sorry, I thought I'd put the part numbers in the descriptions (I'll do it now...). My Triumph dealer sold me basically what he had in stock: 2 x A9838177 Scrolling Indicator Kit. He had half a dozen, and said that was the reference they used on all the bikes they converted for customers. Hope this is of some help to your friend :)
Good work. Interferring with modern bike electrical systems, especially can bus types worries me, so I don't. The analogue electrics on my bike allow easy splicing of heated grips and gps oower into the system. If it was a can bus I'd have to run off the battery direct, unless I forked out more dollars for a special junction box arrangement. Progress? Glad it's sorted. Boa viagems. 👍

I agree. Thanks, David :)

Would you tour on the speed twin?
No. It’s too small for me physically for very long rides. That’s why I bought the Transalp😊
Congrats!
Looking forward to the Tiger 900 review.
Thanks!
Glad you got it sorted👍
👍😊
Awesome thanks, I may just get the new indicators for my tiger 1200 👍 definately look brighter
They are ‘painfully bright’👍

I’m curious too, but didn’t fancy playing with the settings too much, just in case I inadvertently damaged something😬
Congratulations problem solved, so satisfying!
Thanks, Steve. Yes, it was a relief😊
I wonder if there's a similar procedure for switching from bulbs to the LEDs for a street triple?
I’m sure it’s possible. Maybe ask your dealer😊
Great you have got the problem solved.
Yes, it was a relief. Thanks :)
do you think you could add scrolling to a 2017 tiger that has had ordinary ones on them? But thanks for this video
Not sure. I’m looking into fitting them to my new Tiger 900, but don’t want to go aftermarket🤔
@@RocketMan_Moto true, I'd also rather stay triumph, but it's quite a spend for the pimp look and improved visibility
Indeed. I spent about €300 doing the Speed Twin and then a few weeks later I sold it :(
Can someone list all types 1-5 what is do ? There is an written instruction for this?
Hi
Are front scrolling indicators on front same as rear indicators or need order separately
Cheers
I believe the parts numbers are different, but my 2 pairs were identical and seemed to work ok (I have since sold the bike)
Are the wires on both front and rear signals 2 leads, or is the rear wired with a 2 wire and 3 wire bundle?
Both ends and both sides have just 2 wires

Many thanks
Leve it to Triumph to have a simple setup.
Very tempted by the Tiger 900..
Me too. I'm hoping to have a demo bike for a few days this Saturday.

Boa viagems. 👍
I agree that modern vehicle electronics are terrifying and I usually steer well clear, but luckily for me this was a straightforward fix😊
Looks good ❤
