A pair of 8 pins on that dock gives you a LOT of freedom for GPUs. There are 3080s with only 2 x 8 pins as well as many MANY mid range AMD cards. Also if you care to use an adapter pretty much any 4070 will work.
Seeing how you powered the 4090 I wouldn't be surprised to see the 12 pin, or the other 8 pin PCIe cables melt. Both 8 pin cables will provide 300W, and the 75W from the GPU slot only give 375W of power, and OMFG this card pulled 550W.
8pin PCIe can actually handle 300W each, even though they are rated for 150W only. If they weren't able to, that thin 12V Nvidia connector would've had no chance of pulling 600W
@@KimionTM Not saying they aren't able to, but it's not recommended. They can only provide 150W maximum sustained power, and going over is okay if it is in short periods of time (miliseconds).

a power supply at $160 expect that, especially if gold rated or higher considering you're getting a riser with that, people that actually buy a high end desktop psu get shafted cause we don't get that with ours :) I certainly didn't get one with my EVGA Gold PSU
Way underrated commentary on this one. well well, the beelink thing is pointless to me as a gamer imo. i would build an itx in a well designed open case anytime anyday because the footprint of those is mostly the same as the beelink setup, while fully utilizing the desktop experience. hahaha...
Ohhh I see so in Ukraine they capture gaming video footage vertically instead of horizontally. Who knew?? LOL You gotta love those Ukrainians they do absolutely everything on hard mode, even gaming apparently ;)
