Finally, you have fixed the problem on the Lenovo M920Q, where the CPU power is limited to around 5W when a GPU card is installed. I found this issue discussed in many forums and noticed that several RUclips channels struggled with it. I watched a few videos about installing a GPU on this tiny PC, and their CPUs were running at around 5W, resulting in game performance of only about 30fps. Well done, dude!
I have the same setup i5 9500T + MSI GTX 1050 Ti 4G LP + ThrottleStop but I'm having bottleneck and cause network lag fro 2 to 5s on Warzone 2.0 and PUBG :) only on first drop. Good thing after lag it runs smoothly around 85% CPU usage. I used this mini pc for comshop gaming and arcade also 2.5 years now :)
I have been mucking with a m720q the i7-8700 version. When the CPU is pushed the fan is so loud. I have reapplied thermal paste and everything. The older m710q version seemed to have a far better copper cooling and CPU fan setup
The 3D printable file had some issues, which I have corrected. The updated version is now available on the Printables page. Please consider downloading the new file. Thank you.
Anyone selling the 3D printed faceplate and cover? For those of us who do not have a 3D printer. Love your vids by the way. I just completed the T3630 7.3 ltr build and love it.
Is it okay to use the 170w or the 135w power adaptor? And is it okay if I use different riser than the one on the video? For example a x8 to x16 riser I need to PO first to buy that specific riser for lenovo and have to wait at least 2 months if I buy that model
If you’re considering purchasing a compact Lenovo PC, I recommend opting for either the Lenovo M920X or the Lenovo P330 Tiny instead of the Lenovo M920q or Lenovo M720q. Here’s why: both the Lenovo M920X and the Lenovo P330 Tiny come with built-in support for 65W CPUs and graphics cards. That means you won’t need to tinker with anything-they’ll work right out of the box. all these model has physical the same. Thank you.
I bought it from a nearby computer shop for $45, and it’s the only one available in stock. So, whether it’s 135W or 230W doesn’t really matter-it only costs a few bucks more.
The Dell Optiplex 7050 SFF (Small Form Factor) has a PCIe x16 slot, but it’s positioned quite close to the power supply unit (PSU). If you’re planning to install a GPU, consider using the available PCIe x4 slot instead. However, keep in mind that the Dell SFF chassis doesn’t provide ample room for airflow, especially for dual-slot GPUs. If you go ahead and install a dual-slot GPU, it might run too hot, resulting in increased noise and potential throttling of GPU performance. To play it safe, I recommend opting for a single-slot, low-profile GPU for your PC.

Have fun!
@@itggear3400 I think, it would be perfect if i7 9700T or i9 🤩 but still expensive
Yeah I'm having so much fun of power consumption is very low at 115w max wall socket
Very nice idea
I think the adapter 170W is quite enough but you use a 230W, which is safer kkk
i'd love to learn how to 3d print things. is there a course that teaches how to do it?
I learned basic SketchUp on RUclips. Thank you.
Nice one!
Thanks!

If you try hard enough you can usually find someone locally who 3D prints. A lot of public libraries also have 3D printers available to the public.

The larger power brick doesnt benefit it entirely. Its capped at a bios level to 135w or whatever. Yours will work but there is a usable limit.

Thank you friend. I'm gonna get it resin printed in polished transparent and put leds in it.

I have to put this card in my optiplex 7050sff with an i7 7700 and 24 gb of ram! Thank you very much your video motivated me a lot!

Any recommendations ? The arc 310 maybe?
isnt the sticker says i7 why it is i5
Since I didn’t buy this PC new, the installed CPU depends on the seller’s choices-whether they upgraded or downgraded it to adjust the selling price.
