The "mystery button" is the old recline button on the armrest before he seat was converted. Excellent video!

Regarding the "Mystery Button". They have recycled an old arm rest and added electronic controls where the ash tray used to be. The "Button" was the recline function for the old generation seat that this arm rest used to be attached to.
I flew on UX this year and I can tell you that with this button you can push the armrest down (when you sleep for example). However, it does not really make sense because the comfort does not become better. Regards!

What a great product for such a short trip. I would be pretty upset however if I booked long haul with Air Europa and had this cabin and cleanliness. Overall a great trip report as usual.
You should try Finnair a350 business class.

I really like their j class meals. On some flights they have these amazing trays with all sorts of fresh super foods.

01:34 WRONG!You do get a welcome drink at Lufthansa in Business-Class. E.g. from Munich to Nuremberg (or vice versa), when there is no time for drinks during the flight because it never reaches 10.000 feet. :D

Turkish Airlines biz class for inter europe flights are decent. Seats aren't as updated, but plenty of space
Aeroflot, Air Serbia and even Rossiya have have a proper hard-product. My absolute favourite is BA on LHR-Moscow (either Sheremetyevo or Domodedovo) on their mid-range configured A321 with lie-flat seats.
Mikhail Likes to Complain i considered Aeroflot as a decent airlines, i loved its service very much. :)) I will have two flights with AirSerbia next week CPHBEG and BEGFRA one day after, looking forward to it as well, because i like Serbian hospitality. 😍😍😍
