Thanks for finding my video and pressing play!
The last time I was in Malaga I noticed Aer Lingus' A330 at an adjacent gate, and remembered they flew their long haul birds here in the summer peak season because of huge demand. So of course, I had to try it for myself.
This flight is, strictly speaking, all economy. You can't buy a business class ticket - Aer Lingus only sells business class on its American routes. But for a supplement on top of the fare to Malaga you can sit up front in the terrific business class seats Aer Lingus has. There are two very special seats in business class - like mine! They're solo "throne" seats on the right hand side of the aircraft with table space either side of the seat.
Anyway, this is one of the best value flights you'll find in Europe - three hours on a widebody with a TV and bed. Nice!
    Enjoy the report.
Do you have any ideas for future trip reports? Something you've never seen on RUclips before? Why not suggest it to me in the comments? I read every single one! 👍🏻

Aer Lingus have one of the highest utilisations of their longhaul fleet. The A330 arrives in fro the US at approx 0430-0500 and operates DUB-AGP-DUB. Gets back to Dublin at approx 1400, just in time to operate a 4pm depatures to the US.

Ok, this is a great reviewer, I love the way he appreciates the little things like the bia box and all the little extras like storage. I fly into Dublin regularly from California, always the direct Aer Lingus flight.
There were no silly complaints from the Business seats which often seems to be a feature of these reviews.
I will continue to fly Aer Lingus business class because I simply haven’t found anything nearly as good, Thank you Paul.

You are so lucky. I have had nothing but trouble with Aer Lingus. Try canceled flight to Ireland, and canceled return flight to Newark, NJ. Ended up taking United to Ireland, and taking Aer Lingus to Washington, DC, Metro to Amtrak, Amtrak to NYC, and Uber to CT. Planes Trains and Automobiles literally trying to use Aer Lingus. I had the worst experience of any airline. Glad you made it..

So after a lot of documentation and about 6 months, all expenses were compensated (but the Uber) and the compensation of cash guaranteed by the EU. The fare difference between a Saver and Flex ticket is also €90 and the flex ticket means you can reserve one of these seats for free, The Flex ticket also includes Lounge Access, Fast Track Security, Priority Boarding, A Carry-on bag and a checked bag.

Got right on to Aer Lingus (New York) and bumped up my tickets. Would do it again in a heartbeat. Flight to Malaga was great but unfortunately the A330-300 got replaced by a smaller plane on the return leg and I lost my "business" seat and even my seat selection. Took a while to get the extra dollars back from Aer Lingus but it turned out OK in the end. But thanks for the tip for my flight to Spain.

Why is the man speaking in the background during the whole takeoff so annoying?

I’m partial to the American cut of bacon. 🥓 😋
Based on your review though I’m inclined to give Aer Lingus a try across the Atlantic.

I highly recommend it! Aer Lingus has US preclearence in Dublin that saves hours waiting in queues upon arrival in the US and the cabin crew is excellent and super friendly. The food is very tasty too. Not to mention the seats are comfortable and give a sense of privacy, though that doesn’t translate well from the video. The pilots are top notch as well, always butter their landings! 👍☘️

I was just watching a video before this about Emirates 1st class and the bloke had some rank looking food on there. A pot of about 10 or 12 grapes and piece of chocolatey looking cake about the size of a quarter of a cupcake, now compared to the brekkie box you had there you can keep your poxy grapes! Give me some Richmond sausages and Galtee puddin' any damned day.

How much was the supplement on top to sit in the business class seat and where did you pay for it on the aer lingus site or at the airport

Aer Lingus was in my opinion, the best biz class across the Atlantic. The Singapore Air/Air New Zealand of the Atlantic.

Caught up with this review...excellent as always. Have flown Aer Lingus a few times between LHR and Dublin....and they are so "Irish"
Great crew and a sense of humour!! Not to mention the silky Irish accents!! And you cannot miss an Irish Breakfast....even at 36 thousand feet...black pudding and white pudding !! Agree..what a great way to get from Dublin to Spain!!
