I found that taking the thumb and pointer finger to guide the rubber band over the top of the hook of the braces and the ortho had a special hook to help.
Hi there. My orthodontist prescribed extremely small elastics. I have to hook them on the inside of my lower teeth to the ouside of my upper teeth. As much as I tried, I couldn't hook them. The elastics are extremely small. Any tip?!
Wow, my otherdontist told me 24 hours a day, eat with it on, change it once a day (morning when before brushing), and I have some loop near my kanine tooth (in between the kanine and the inner tooth) that it hooks onto as well as my molar. Very different huh.
Definitely follow your doctor! There are lots of factors to consider when prescribing rubber brands and your doctor will know what type will work best for you. 👍

Using rubber bands help to speed up the process!!
I didn’t know there are different types of rubber bands , and If you stop wearing them it makes the process longer

My rubber bands have worked on my teeth and they are moving rapidly. I thought it would hurt but they don't.
Glad to hear that they're working! Usually the more you wear rubber bands the LESS they hurt :)

It will depend on how much bite correction is needed. For some it may only be a couple months, for others it may take up to a year
its okey not wearing elastic even have underbite but wearing rubber band ¿
Don't forget to put rubber bands in after eating.
We didn’t know that if you stop wearing the rubber bands that the teeth just move back!
Its true! If you only wear them a couple hours of day then you basically made no progress....
I'm currently in class III elastics but I don't have a underbite. Now I'm concerned 😟
Ask your doctor next time you're in - I'm sure they have a good reason for recommending the class III elastic pattern :)

You need to wear your rubber bands every day and night. So the teeth dont move back to where they were
