Thanks for watching 😀. Back out on the same river targetting barbel on fly again! Our good friend James has been getting into some serious fish over the last couple of weeks and we want in on the action!
You can catch on fly most stretches of the River Ribble, the only stretches we tend to fish are free stretch (in Preston) and Elston (Wigan card). Was on Elston this afternoon, saw a lot of decent brownies taking flies off the top, a really strong hatch early afternoon today!
@damiengreenwood5137 the bank opposite golf course in low water conditions on free stretch can be ideal In low water conditions can be great fun on dry fly, there's a long, straight stretch with an obvious retaining wall to stop banks being undercut, often get trout and chub topping all along that wall and it's good spot for wading safely too.
Beautiful river and beautiful day.

Excellent start and great video. What a trip. Especially like the drone shots. Excellent big brown.
Thanks Keith! Much appreciated 😀. No barbel showed yesterday despite our best efforts, so back to it later this week 👍
Top anglers, only wish I had the knowledge to river fish.
Hi mate, thanks for the comment. There's plenty of blanks between sessions like this too 😀. It's not all catching!
Not a bad start.
Thanks mate! ❤
