I like how the towns theme never changed during the whole series. Even the MAIN THEME changed half way through the games! Just shows how good it is I guess

My favorite will probably still be the original. I still question how ACDC Town changed it's layout by the second trilogy. That doesn't make any sense.
Game Master 1 I can't rank between the first three. Also yeah, it changed a lot after the 4th one. Like Dex' house moved completely and the school was gone as well!
I love how, despite each game's theme arguably deviating more and more from the original with each iteration, the final one in BN6 returns to its roots, being very similar to the first two. Makes sense for a kid visiting his hometown, remembering the way it used to be when he was younger. Very classy.
I mean now that Capcom have a decent GBA and NDS emulator (Zero/ZX) I see it as a matter of time. I'm gonna bet Battle Network and Star Force will be bundled together.

Just looking at lan and hub brings me hella back. My favorite game was megaman battle network 3 blue. This game is a underrated masterpiece.
91Coolepinguin I feel ya man, I’m 31 and these games defined my life from 6th grade all the way to my senior year, I eagerly bought them every summer during that time and I’ll never be able to re-create an experience like that

Mega Man Battle Network 3 was my first video game. The version of Hometown in that one makes me think of my best friend, who I met around the same time I played that (age 4-ish). I cry like a baby almost every time.

For me, my favorite versions would be BN5 and BN4. BN5 for obvious reasons. BN4's version has a unique ending sequence that no other renditions have done it, and it sounded so relaxed and chill.
Did you know that if you hear closely at 08:18 you can hear a instruments similar than the one used for the absolutely safe capsule or from the Porky's theme from Earthbound 2/Mother 3

Honestly I 10000% LOVED all of the ACDC Town themes. They give you such nostalgia and a feeling of joy

MMBN5 has always been the best in my personal opinion. 3 is a close second.
Love the sound tracks in mmbn5 but the liberation missions ruined it for me. Still not as bad as 4 though.
