I bloody love this, remember Everything But The Girl? The driving beat, the melody, the lyrics are simple but work. I so hope this does well. She's fantastic.
This is a banger with the electro pop music 🙌 straight to the final this year for sure good luck one of my favourite definately! I like how we're in the same semi I can vote
It would be really cool if the Czech Republic would win this year! I begrudge you 100%! My favorites at the moment! Czech Republic 🇨🇿 Norway 🇳🇴 and Austria ♥️🇦🇹
I like this one. Sounds modern, it's very chilled, but dancy at the same time. I so hope the UK comes up with something modern. Our songs always sound terribly dated!
real slow burn on this one-then bam with her vocal--great song, catchy tracks good beat would love to hear it over here .across the pond ,,,,:^).good luck ,Czech!
Я тоже с первого просмотра полюбил Армению и Чехию! Они в моем топе пока! Прекрасные работы! Обожаю их! Спасибо за ваш обзор! I also fell in love with Armenia and the Czech Republic from the first viewing! They are in my top so far! Great work! I love them! Thanks for your review!
It may be a fun idea to also respond to Jezinky. They got second place but that song is incredibly unique and I have a feeling it'd make an awesome reaction video.
Copied this from an article. But in my own perspective from what I’m reading, it’s that feeling of not being over someone after a break up. Trying hard to change things and try new things, but still thinking back and wanting the person you still evidently love. Basically not being over them. “Lights Off” was written by the members of We Are Domi alongside Oslo-based producer Einar Eriksen Kvaløy and English songwriter Abi F Jones. The song is about the feelings of confusion after a break-up. Dominika knows exactly what she needs, but she refuses to do it. The lyrics: I lost my soul, forgot my way There's no mistakes that I've not made Changes hurt and I'm alone But people say, "My, how you've grown" Tried changing jobs, tried changing lovers Changing my furniture, change my bed covers I'd change my heart, but there's not a chance So I turn the lights off Where are you now when I miss you? You're sailin' around in my peripheral Where are you now? Where are you now? Where are you now? Where are you now? I'll ring the changеs, make a plan I'm small, but mighty, yes, I can I'll build a fortress, I'll build a wall I'll be a queen, invincible Tried changing jobs, tried changing lovers Changing my furniture, change my bed covers I'd change my heart, but there's not a chance So I turn the lights off Where are you now when I miss you? You're sailin' around in my peripheral Where are you now? Where are you now? Where are you now? Where are you now? Once again I'm left without control I'm far away, but can you hear me call? Where are you now? Where are you now when I miss you? You're sailin' around in my peripheral Where are you now? Where are you now? Where are you now? Where are you now?
Loving the reviews. You’ve got an amusing typo at the end: I’m intrigued by anywhere called “Buglaria” though! Lairy bugs? Bugles? It’s amused me! Right, back to your other reviews!
The song to me is simple to understand. It is about missing your ex after turning the lights off at night when nobody can see you, even though you already did allot of things in order to forget him. Changed jobs, lover, furniture, and bed covers. I think they have high chances to reach the final if they do a little copy paste. I like the dark staging. Really sets the right mood.
I love the song, I loved the reaction, I loved the comparison to Queen Jess Glynne. I wanted to listen to the song on Apple Music on repeat, but it seems to not be available..
The intro on synth reminds me of a particular HUGE disco hit from the past, but I can't remember the name of that song. Whether it's an accidental/coincidence and not calculated it's another question. Our country seems to be always scared to send a piece of true Czech music to the ESC. This song is the safest option we can pick. It's in English, it's simple, catchy, politically correct, but nothing new and surely nothing spectacular either. I always said I would prefer the rock band "Wohnout" over anyone, but they are "not suited for today's trends".
i think its about trying to do everything to get a boy/girlfriends attention but it isnt enough and they just keep on ignoring you(the lights are off, its no use)
I LOVE Czech Republic this year. Feels very modern and its super catchy
My fav of 2022
looks like many disagreed, even tho I found this song way better then most on Eurovision, but it appears it is not about singing..
Czech is sending a strong this year and deserves to qualify.
