As a producer from Greece, I must say this was by far the best song in the contest. Vocals...song...everything. Of course the best songs and artists most times don't even qualify but thank you to whoever wrote this great song.
This song gives me goosebumps every freaking time I listen to it. She is a dark horse for sure. People underrate this because it's Slovenia (they did the same with North Macendonia in 2019) but, mark my words, she will be very very high on the ranking. Juries will love it.
In Eurovision Song Contest a big voice is not enough. When it comes to this particular song, I've heard milion like these before. Her voice is huge and I love such a ballads, unfortunately being highly rated in ESC depends of tens of factors.
Hi Georgina! I am from Slovenia and yes she is a very good singer. I have seen her live in Kongres square in June 2020 in Ljubljana live and she sang some pretty hard songs. As someone who is a classical baritone in studying progress, I can confirm that she is a great vocalist. Her River deep.... was just amazing.
This is simply a stunning classical power-ESC-ballad. All the funny entertaining acts - they make it worth watching the ESC. Songs and voices like that, make it worth hearing the ESC. Congratulations to Slovenia for just sending an amazing Artist to the Contest...
I honestly didn't know she would perform... This year we didn't have Ema (where we vote), but she is a great choice. Usually the contestants are chosen because of the judges, and public usually votes for someone else🤷♀️. But it depends.
Wow. Phenomenal singer. Sounds like she could be related to Aretha Franklin. So much SOUL in her voice. The song is really good, way better than most Eurovision songs. Definitely deserves to win. I hope she wins.
Wow, thats amazing! Slovenia got a great Singer here. And thats really whats singing about, to just concentrate at the singer himself and not at tons of background singers. 12 Points from Germany to Slovenia!!
I literally get goosebumps everytime I hear Ana sing! I cannot for the life in me understand how the euro-fans can't connect with the song because she delivers it in an incredible manner. One of my favourites this year! Go Ana!!
This song gives me life and hope! Agree that she is a dark horse for sure. Wish I can vote for her from the Seattle. God gave Ana this supernatural vocals for such a time and partnered it with the spot on message the world desperately needs right now. People need the Lord! Where are you going to spend eternity? John 3:16
It is a shame that it did not qualify for the ESC 2021 Grand Finals... ESC became a song contest of popularity instead... I hope Europe realizes that ESC's purpose is to unite the continent thru songs...
I agree. Anna's probably the most accomplished singer in this years ESC. Like all great artistes, her delivery of just three notes makes you feel safe; she makes it look easy and effortless. As you say, I love the light and shade of the performance, the vocal dexterity with just a tad of 'this is what I can really do' in the anthemic last chorus. Last years Voda (water) was stronger IMHO. Just B4 you I watched Vasil - Here I stand: that's the "phoenix" entry for 2021. What a performance - - all best
Absolutely amazing voice and the song is really good. My second at the moment but could end up at the very top! Can’t believe nobody talks about this song and that it’s way down on everybody’s ranking.
I was deciding which song has the best vocals, I chose this one. Then I saw your reaction, I'm quite glad to know that you think she has a great vocals. Thank you so much.
You forget the most important thing, your mouth opens but my soul and spirit cries yes, yes, yes Hallelujah !!! And i can't stop crying. Direct message from Jesus to the seekers. Amen
Am I listening to a different song? I love this song. Super surprised to see how low down the betting order this is. I think Ana's vocals are showcased perfectly here and the last third is super dramatic. I love this.
I just love Ana and her voice and her song and I'm from Slovenija. And this connection is not really logical, because we do not always like what we have...But I really hope Europe will listen, because our voice, no matter how good it is, it's never good enough for Eurovision. But this time, for Ana, I think, she does not need the staging at all.... Thank you for your reaction. And thank you all for supporting Ana.
Okey, I am a week late and I want to know what you have to say. Ana is great singer, but some people in Slovenia are not thrilled that her song is religious. Nothing wrong with that, it causes clash of opinions. I really like her, because she is sooo good😍and the song is beautiful. Greatings from Slovenia🤗.
I felt same. Highly impressed by the voice. I heard it first time on the radio and was amazed. So i checked out on youtube of course and - beng hallelujah whowza. Not only an incredible voice, she s a lovely super attractive Lady. That sure brings some extra points. But voice doing it well itself. Good luck to her. I grant her a good ranking.
She’s amazing! She was Eslovenia’s representative in 2020, I recommend you search for Voda, her song, and other covers she did after the cancellation of the contest. She is truly amazing, I’d actually love you to “analyse her vocals” in some of those videos :)
Last year she did a cover of Suus in Albanian (surely the most difficult Eurovision song ever) and totally nailed it to the last detail - even the expressive suck in of breath just towards the end that Rona Nishliu used to do.
She reminds me, so many artists as, Annie Lennox, Anastacia, George Michael. And i agree with you, male tone for sure...only in the chorus, there are any parts, when she reachs the highest notes, that "we can feel", a female note...but in the rest of the song...it is pure male tone. Anyway, love this wonderful song...so sad that she didn't qualify to the final.
She has a male tone in her voice...if i didn't watched the vídeo, didn't tell it... anyway, one of the best songs in this competition...my second favourite so far...
Not heard it yet, but the idea to bring esc to small slovenia is so crazy that I want to see them whole next year prepairing for it. That would be so nice for them. Ok, now I heard the song...beautiful, beautiful voice..but..I like happier songs in esc. Yes, I am shallow. Ok...now I have goosebumps...I don't know if it's going to win..but...I hope to hear it very very often in radio and everywhere. Beautiful.
Her voice sounds very similar to American singer Kristine W, famous for dance music as well as some more jazzier tracks in recent years. She's also a breast cancer survivor. Both have amazing belts and huge ranges. Kristine W also plays some percussion and saxophone hehe!
She definitely has one of the best voices ever on ESC ♥️ Fingers Crossed for this song to qualify 🤞♥️ If by any chance you’ll see this comment - Can you please react to Georgia’s entry for esc 2017♥️? Tamara Gachechiladze- Keep The Faith
I believe this is lip synced but she did a live performance on Slovenian TV and the vocals were basically the same. Adore her voice and such captivating stage presence
Your reactions has proven to me that I'm not the only one who likes it and can potentially get really good results in the juries! I love her entry from last year as well and I think you may not have heard that?
Oh how I had been looking forward to this video! Your reaction was exactly what I was hoping for - Ana's voice truly is magnificent, and its power jaw-dropping. It's funny how Amen immediately reminded you of Rise Like a Phoenix, which you're absolutely right about; Charlie Mason is the artist involved in the making of both songs. I'm Slovenian and probably biased, but I sure hope the good people of Europe will feel her voice as intensely as you did. Love from Ireland!
Her voice reminds me of the Swedish-Gambian singer Seinabo Sey, another amazing vocalist. And of course, Queen Aretha. Had I just heard her, I would have assumed she's a black woman.
It does remind you of Rise Like a Phoenix, as it has the same lyricist (Charlie Mason)! Nevertheless, a great track and voice, I think the juries will love this!
As a producer from Greece, I must say this was by far the best song in the contest. Vocals...song...everything. Of course the best songs and artists most times don't even qualify but thank you to whoever wrote this great song.
This was the best song by far last year.
I still listening to the song, this was my winner

Thank you from Slovenija ♥️
AGREE! Ana is the "LIGHT" Horse!
I absolutely agree!
This didn’t age well 😢
Hah
The build-up is amazing! Her vocals are NEXT LEVEL! I love the outfit too, so angelic!
Couldn't agree more!
I really don't know why nobodys excited for this, best entry by far
I hope it gets last x

I've got goosebumps while listening this song. And we can all agree that Ana is the best vocalist this year. 😍
Barbara and Gjoi be like
Amen!😅
Goosebumps
Thanks for the Eurovision reactions!
Anytime :-)
When she sings it live she will elevate in the odds. she has such a powerful live voice

is she a transgender ?
I got goose bumps from this.......not headaches like from the 2022 entry

she is SO SO SOOOOO GOOD
She also has amazing and stunning live vocals! This is so much better than last year's entry :) Great reaction as always!
I totally agree! Thank you :-))
Im proud of my country !
I LOVE this song! Ana's voice is wonderful, she's very underrated... she will definitely fight for qualify!
Charlie Mason, one of the songwriters of ‘Amen’, is also one of the songwriters of ‘Rise Like A Phoenix’ 😉
Really incredible voice! One of top songs this year
WOW!! WOW!! Awesome! Love the melody, the vocals and the choral arrangement. Outstanding and a true contender.
Glad you like it!
@@HonestVocalCoach Thank you Georgina. You are very kind and sweet. Hugs!
Ljubljana 2022
I love it so much. One of my favorite this year.
Perfect song and voice
Best song Eurovision 2021
I guess not... Eurovision sucks... Hi from Slovenia 👋🏻
I’ve waited a while for this reaction! One of my absolute favourites this year... Ana is SUCH a talent!! Great video, as always, Georgina! ✨
Couldn't agree more! Thanks for watching. X
Being on her live show few years ago, I can confirm that she will sound and look the same as here. I'm glad people finnaly hear this amazing voice.
Love this voice

One of my favourites this year! Go Ana!!
typically euro-fans are usually connected with the trashy songs
Thanks from Slovenia
its a terrible song so I hope it gets lost
I didn't like her 2020 song but this is really great, her voice is everything and the refren is easy to remember :)
What was her other song
@@lucaswallo8127 it was called Voda (Water)
Same! I love her vocals, but I didn't like her 2020 song that much. FYI, refren = chorus
This song gives me life and hope! Agree that she is a dark horse for sure. Wish I can vote for her from the Seattle. She is stunning, her voice, ghe song is stunning! Ameeen!
Deep sound and crazy vocals! 👌
this is absolutely her voice - if you watch her live performance of voda from last year, it's incredible!
Wonderful reaction Georgina, as always! 😊🤗 Greetings from Slovenia.
Beautiful!!!

The song has a really nice climax at the end and her voice is something else

Most underrated song of this year so far! A real dark horse!
It’s so understated I love it sm
I remember hearing her voice in her entry for last year and being stunned at how deep her voice was, Amen is one of my faves this year
I love her!
Last year she did a cover of Suus in Albanian (surely the most difficult Eurovision song ever) and totally nailed it to the last detail - even the expressive suck in of breath just towards the end that Rona Nishliu used to do.

Fun fact: the team collaborated with lyricist Charlie Mason, who co-wrote Conchita Wurst’s Rise Like A Phoenix.
