Hi, Slovenia's song is excellent. This year's Eurovision has several Biblical and apocalyptical songs. It is interesting to analyze Slovenia, Austria, Cyprus and Greece.
I have a feeling they’re just dragging it because of the religious tones. It’s pretty epic to me. Written by Charlie Mason who wrote Rise Like a Phoenix.

LISTEN... so what if it's preaching song? It's diversity. That's what makes you special and stand out. Just because you don't do certain things in your life doesn't give you right to judge other people on doing it.
I don't think the lyrics are religious at all, or in particular preaching to "go to church". Hallelujah is a common phrase used in non religious context, also Amen, which is used by other religions too. But the point of the lyrics is general "don't give up" theme, encouraging you to be strong and to appreciate life. I don't agree with William who said that the story is pretty clear, amen and hallelujah...well, not really...

And this is not religious, but the only truth we deal with and really depend on. And she does not need much staging. I hope she gets far to the top. She is one of the best. Well, since you were rooting for Hatari, then yes, I get it that you don't like the song... 🙄 And maybe you should actually hear the lyrics... There is nothing religious about it.
She can sing, but I loved the vibe of her previous song and this doesn't make me feel anything. I guess for some people it can be really meaningful though.
@@nevaklemenc1997 i guess there is supposed to be an insult in this that I'm afraid I don't really understand :') If you mean that you don't understand why I don't feel anything: I was raised very catholic, my sister and mom even teach classes for young catholic children. So I'm used to religious things and songs. Some make me feel things, some do not. This one feels artificial to me. It's a personal opinion.
Can you please explain this to me. Why is it so okay when Elena is singing about loving the devil (which i really don't care), but you judge Ana for singing a "religious" song? Double standards ...
Probably cos Elena isn't singing a religious song. Who said devils are religious? And plus you don't care about the lyrics in a song like that, you're just vibing along. Whereas with Amen, you can focus a lot more on the lyrics and people pick up on it more.
@@archielangley7723 oh jesus what an answer Then if you are just "vibing" to the song why couldn' you come up with better lyrics than giving love to the devil, like wtf Plus can you tell me what's so wrong with lyrics in Ana's song?
@@lolz9888 first of all, I'm not being angry. Second, I'm not stating my opinion, I'm just stating what I think other people think. I can't remember the last time I heard something about a devil in a song anyway. And about Ana's song, I think it's a bit cliche using "hallelujah" and "Amen" a lot. Those words are used a lot in other songs That being said, El diablo does have clichés as well, and it's also quite repetive. But I think overall why people have a problem with this song is just because, as I said, there is more focus on the lyrics and less on the the melody, and the other way round for El Diablo.
It is not a religious song, but the message is sent in the gospel style, because it is important to litsen too. It is simply the most beautiful song lately. And it is not "Take me to church!!!" It is: be humane and act humane!
You guys this is a good song she ain't preaching sorry guys I didn't feel the religiousness about it. Was she singing religiously to me not really the sound is amazing good. Maybe she was given this song to sing. Aww guys 😢
I do not find it preachy at all no matter the Amen etc....I use this words often and I'm totally not religious. But I love this song. When someone finally says something very truthful, that is when we all can say Amen. Gospel style to tell something important is well chosen.
Best voice of the last five years, probably. I was (and *I am*) in love with Voda, but sadly I'm not feeling her this year. But I know she will do fine on ESC, with that voice she will be in the final without discussion. I wish Ana the best, always and forever, even if this song is not for me. 🙏🏻♥️

If you haven't already, you owe it to yourself to listen to her amazing Eurovision Home Concert performance of Suus. THAT is the kind of emotional, powerful, controlled and captivating vocal performance Ana Soklic is capable of. I hope she comes back another year with a performance that will reach people who, like Deban and William here, find this entry a relatively weak one.
I think this will get several jury votes, not that many televotes... It can go two ways... either barely qualifies in 9th or 10th place or barely misses the final in 11th or 12th place. Borderline qualifier.
I do not know, many people on Internet love the song, surprisingly. Maybe the time for the memorable songs has come back. For the songs you can whistle on the bicycle and feel good.
Sorry to say that so open, but your way of commenting Ana's awesome Song, is more than infantile! 😉 You guys didn't focus on the song itself and Ana's voice. Your opinion is just based on an absolutely unprofessional view on this amazing Gospel/Ballade Song, which has a unique selling point in this ESC 2021. In my opinion you guys are without a musical ear and without any musical expertise. So sorry! 🤷♂️ Just to go over these important facts, that she has an unique voice, together with the deeper message of the song - which has a great melody by the way -, is like finding a top sports car bad, because the color of the car doesn't suit you personally. Everybody can has his personal opinion and taste, of course.👍 But valuing the unimportant things high and not valuing the important high enough, is just plain stupidity! 😉 Ana and Slovenia 🇸🇮, go for it! 👍🤞🤞🤞🍀🍀🍀

I've never laughed soo hard love from UK 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧😂😂😂
Will these intros are epic! ☺️
Deban; this is technically not a ballad but rather an anthem.
Not an anthem. Its a power ballad through and through
It's like Su-Rie Storm
oof they were not impressed lol😂oh well its ok i get it thanks for the reaction guys🙌
Someone can tell me how can I find that sound at 11:16 ?
This is called the "shade button" or "shade button effect" on youtube.
@@Wiwibloggs THANK YOU SO MUCH
3:59 killed me🤣
The juries going to eat this UP. LIKE A ALL YOU CAN EATBUFFET
I’m not so sure, it’s a bit all over the place
@Sir Stevia She has North Macedonia and Croatia in her semi though, so that’s pretty much automatic points.
Dark hourse
WHAHA "dragging you to church"
Best ballad so far. I think we need diversity at the esc and why not also a church-gospel song. All in, the vocal omg out of this world. Epic and a masterpiece. The older ESC Fans will love it... Bravo Ana and well done sLOVEnia 🇸🇮👌🥰
Deban better hurry up and find some more songs to like or he may as well skip watching the contest lol
Lol I mean he likes Finland 😅😅
Let Deban pray in peace and hawe great Amen for 2021, Halleluyaaaaaa
Well, since you were rooting for Hatari, then yes, I get it that you don't like the song... 🙄 And maybe you should actually hear the lyrics... There is nothing religious about it.
Except two words? But what should people respect most? The gift of life! If the whole world is the church, than take me....
Irony Su-Rie this sounds like
She can sing, but I loved the vibe of her previous song and this doesn't make me feel anything. I guess for some people it can be really meaningful though.
Are you the walking dead?
@@archielangley7723 oh jesus what an answer
Then if you are just "vibing" to the song why couldn' you come up with better lyrics than giving love to the devil, like wtf
Plus can you tell me what's so wrong with lyrics in Ana's song?
@@lolz9888 first of all, I'm not being angry. Second, I'm not stating my opinion, I'm just stating what I think other people think. I can't remember the last time I heard something about a devil in a song anyway. And about Ana's song, I think it's a bit cliche using "hallelujah" and "Amen" a lot. Those words are used a lot in other songs
That being said, El diablo does have clichés as well, and it's also quite repetive.
@Archie What about diversaty, equality..... Halleluja, we are glorius.....rainbow power?
You guys this is a good song she ain't preaching sorry guys I didn't feel the religiousness about it. Was she singing religiously to me not really the sound is amazing good. Maybe she was given this song to sing. Aww guys 😢
I do not find it preachy at all no matter the Amen etc....I use this words often and I'm totally not religious. But I love this song. When someone finally says something very truthful, that is when we all can say Amen. Gospel style to tell something important is well chosen.
Storm by Su-Rie "Hey child"
I like gospels. Message is strong but as song itself not for Eurovision.
Deban's "elevation" was everything :D
Deban’s reaction when he found out it wasn’t a ballad😂 I was like he’s not gonna be happy
Not bad at all, but I prefer her 2020 entry. Voda was very underrated
Best voice of the last five years, probably. I was (and *I am*) in love with Voda, but sadly I'm not feeling her this year. But I know she will do fine on ESC, with that voice she will be in the final without discussion. I wish Ana the best, always and forever, even if this song is not for me. 🙏🏻♥️
You even didnt want to listen to the liriks, I as LGBTQ person totali conect with lirycs..... and like ewery year you dont like slovenias entre, and ee get to tje finale.....mark this number ....shes gonna slay in Roterdam
Savršena je!
I have a feeling you guys always have a bad opinion about slovenia 😴🥱 and no it’s not esc voice contest it’s a political song contest😅
No and no
Yes, they always make fun of Slovenia, not really nice.
I’m surprised so many reactors are dumb enough to not realize the 3 min mark. It’s obvious the last part is the credits.
Honestly it's really a shame that the best part is credits. I don't understand why they put it in the official video if it's not a part of the song.
Boys.... its not VOUDA :D Just VODA....say it as you wite it :)
Sorry to say that so open, but your way of commenting Ana's awesome Song, is more than infantile! 😉
You guys didn't focus on the song itself and Ana's voice.
Your opinion is just based on an absolutely unprofessional view on this amazing Gospel/Ballade Song, which has a unique selling point in this ESC 2021.
In my opinion you guys are without a musical ear and without any musical expertise. So sorry! 🤷♂️
Just to go over these important facts, that she has an unique voice, together with the deeper message of the song - which has a great melody by the way -, is like finding a top sports car bad, because the color of the car doesn't suit you personally.
Everybody can has his personal opinion and taste, of course.👍
But valuing the unimportant things high and not valuing the important high enough, is just plain stupidity! 😉
Ana and Slovenia 🇸🇮, go for it! 👍🤞🤞🤞🍀🍀🍀
Deban seems to be constantly unimpressed with this year’s songs (so far). I don’t blame him 😉
Which might turn out to be a great thing for Slovenia.
Honestly, same lol
When is he not unimpressed? Lately the songs he likes don’t do very well, so it’s a good sign when he doesn’t like a song.
What happend to you guys? I dont see your energy anymore! :(
Wtf is wrong with Deban? He’s become so sour!
the bitter guy with glasses quit/was fierd so someone needed to take his role
I don’t known why, But you all are scared of religion, when you listen something about religion you try to find there a mistake
Good backup singers will be key to her performence. I would love to see at Eurovision the moments when she can show her full power (super high note) and more powerful chorus moment. Even with improvements this is hard to say if song will qualify.
Have you actually listen to the lyrics???
Stop talking and listen....so disappointed I u guys
