As someone who can barely enjoy Deepwoken's gameplay but LOVES its lore and worldbuilding, I'm genuinely grateful for projects like this.
Giving lore a bigger place in the spotlight is always a fun thing to see, especially with readings like this.

Shadowcast is not publicly documented information, if explored at all. After all, usage of such magic is extremely taboo, and leads one to be persecuted with extreme prejudice. Ironsing however has only recently resurfaced as a commonplace attunement, and as such this document from Markor has become outdated.
@@MakaraPipnot to mention Lightkeep isn’t an actual attunement, it’s a regalia of sorts isn’t it? They call it a “gift”, which is ironic since you basically sentence yourself to eternity in a lighthouse
who or what exactly is markor?
Markor is a place in the central luminant, home to the titular "Scholars of Markor", who wrote this book

In lore at least it's hard to get and seen as extremely taboo, so we don't get the Markor journal talking about shadowcast sunscreen LOL
Shadowcast wasnt forgotten. It was invented post the Great Drowning. Ironsing was forgotten after the Great Drowning.
As far as I know the drowning had no effect on the general populace's knowledge of Shadowcast, though I may be wrong. From what we know Shadowcast was created sometime after the Canticlysm, and has remained secretive and taboo for as long as it's been around.

Are flamcharmers immune to the heat that they emit onto an object? Caus r imaging a blacksmith that molds metal like clay with the created heat are they immune to the heat of the metal?
well between flame within, immolation, and emperor flame it seems like a flamecharmer can become immune to their own flame
It's situational I think. Hell, with phoenix flames they can even heal from their own fire. So, I imagine with an abhorrent amount of practice they could get used to the temperatures required to forge metal.

While it’s probably been said before I think a cool idea would be that if you used ironsing and flamecharm in tandem you could use new molten metal like mantras but idk how that would work
