Class60 is like the big brother of M0110 • M0110 & Shenpo on Plat... . Same build, color, chunky bezels, retro design, etc. While this is much higher quality, I prefer little bro's mounting style. Classic (half) gaskets over leaf springs as it feels much more solid for plateless. This is distractingly bouncy, despite the stiffer leaf spring option. Another weakness of leaf spring is the mods being flexier than the alphas, hence inconsistent feeling. I have higher hopes for the top mount. Both sound nice, just in different ways. This is very clean and modern while the m0110 has a plastic hollowness that is more retro-like.
I didn't expect the building experience to be so fun. It was intimidating at first with so many screws and components. It's labeled well though and I figured most of it out myself. It's the very definition of tedious. Unlike the moment. The ribbon cables were also a first for me but they didn't cause me trouble. If anything, my only gripe is after the build is finished, when I discovered that pressing the back case near the buzzer triggers it. I'll prob have to tape it to avoid metal contact.
