"Wow hipiyo, I can't believe you spend $134.99 on a set of keycaps. Your incredibly chringe Hipiyo. You've gone against everything you've ever stood for!"
Also: *Your.* The above is a joke. the following is not - Hipyo's grammar and writing sucks cheeks sometimes.
How did you spell cringe wrong
@@salmonhippo9824 This is the problem with _only_ going by-ear.
I nearly buy a Unicomp keyboard in Canada that's how that is. Not to mention it's superiority to this keyboard.

i'm in this rabbit hole now
nah the true rabbit hole starts when you get into groupbuys
“It grew, probably because of how much I was touching it.”

Schrödinger's keyboard.
Took me a second then I did a double take
The before sound was better
Fair enough!
Yeh i preferred the before a bit more as well. Second might be better for a shared office space though seemed quieter.
1000%
waaaay better
true
i would love a whole hall effect video Hipyo. Cool builds by the way
Glad to see akko back on this channel recently got myaelf a mod007b hall effect and for the 120 ish dollars i got it (got it through amazon with a small sale) it was so much better than my original 60%
Dude I love your videos you gave me the inspiration to upgrade my keyboard and I love it so much
you need inspiration to be advertised to products? what? lol
Love how people say awesome vid when they could have only watched around a minute or two
What about people who watch at 3x speed, like me? I could have gotten halfway through in 2 minutes.
awesome vid
awesome vid
No sutch thing as 3x speed in the normal RUclips Client but ok....@@Linkman8912
I only read the first couple words, but this comment is great so far
I was just browsing through your videos, searching for a new keeb.. perfect timing
Those weird gasket things in 1:48 are force break mods. It’s like Akko themselves acknowledged their board is lacking without it
That's wild cus I didn't think the V3 needed it when the v1 was terrible without it
@@HipyoTech I guess sometimes people can never be pleased. A board can feel or sound as good as it can but people will complain if it doesn’t come with force break strips
After hearing the two back to back, I think I actually liked the before sound better, but that's the great thing about customization: You can play with options until you find the sound that _you_ like best!
before sound is so much better for me. More creamy. The after just sounds muted and more clicky. Not sure I trust this guy's keyboard taste.
thanks for the review man, my bestie has been looking at these boards for a while (i recommended them to him. if these sucked i would've been mortified)
I just caved and bought it. Thanks Hipyo.
Built a monsgeek m1w for my brother for christmas and he loves it! I think clip in stabs are misunderstood. Their flaw is solely if there's a loose fit on the plate - so if you use the bandaid mod, and the housings of the clip in stabs are held nicely in place, they can end up being amazing. They can also be really smooth because clip ins tend to have little friction due to admittedly "bad" tolerances of the stems. For some reason, if you get rid of the ticking and do bandaid plate mod, they end up being unbelievably good. Just gotta put in the work.
Another flaw for plate mounted stabilizers is that they require really good quality plates. The reason being that even a slight inconsistency in the plate will make the stabilizers bottom out first or even worse, only one of the stabilizers bottom out. And another is that they dont touch the PCB in some cases. So a flexible plate is gonna make the stabilizers bounce on the PCB
@@fozzyalfonso This is a valid concern - Most of the plate mount stabs i get in these days are already installed in boards, so i don't run into the ill-fitting problem. BUT as for each stem sometimes not hitting the bottom of the plate - cant help but wonder if you're dealing with an issue with long pole switches on stabs not made for them? If that's the case there is a mod to remedy this.
I do not want a dedicated video on hall effect switches. I NEED IT
I was looking for your review on the m1v3 and I didn’t know it was only released for a few days when I bought it, so glad I did when I saw this. Bought the barebones and put the bobas in it. IT’S HEAVEN.
Got my Rainy75 recently per your recommendation. Absolutely incredible! Also got one for my fiancé (so she doesn't notice I've found yet another way to waste money on my PC) LOL great vid.
+1 for HE switches video here ! :D
Hipyo, I have a video suggestion. You should build 3 keyboards with your favourite parts. One should be thocky, one marbly and the last could be silent (which you have done recently so you could reuse that) You gotta pick your favourite frames, switches and keycaps (NO YOU CANNOT USE YOUR OWN SET). Anyway, hope you make that vid where you actually show us your skill with no twists
Nice vid mate
I got my M1V3 & MU01 yesterday for review and wow, I am impressed indeed, the MU01 is beautiful and creamy sounding and a huge lover of the wooden case, and the M1V3 is just insane for the price! but boy it is heavy haha anyways now back to the video to hear your thoughts :D
Thanks for taking a look at these. Could I ask what you made of the seam? Is it well aligned or a little rough? Hard to tell from the video.
Heyy, just the video i wanted :D i've been looking at this or Tiger80 lite, still not sure what to get (they both seem to have their pros and cons, price is similar) but review of v3 is always appreciated 👍
Man I ordered a womier sk75 because of you like 4 days before this xD Should've waited because this looks sick
@@aspicio both are great!
@@HipyoTech I'll take your word for it! And thanks for testing so many keyboards for us people who cant afford to test them all. Great video and you help ton of people!
Hey Hipyo, thanks to you, you made keyboards important again! Thank to you, I haven't bought my keyboard yet?! You made it important, so now I can't rush it! Now I have to keep watching your videos, and keep getting confused as to which one is right for me! What to do, what to do...
I hope you make an updated review of full sized keyboards!
The Morandi Switches are AMAZING. I chose them for my personal Keyboard because of your recommendation.
Love your reviews! I was wondering if you could try the Womier SK80?
is the aula f75 any good for the price?
Id love a video going in depth on new hall effect switches!
I personally love how the hall effect board sounds.
You should also check out the MOD007B PC it's also a hall effect keyboard by Akko and I think it sounds really good
A note on the M1W V3, it doesn't have VIA/QMK compatibility. You have to use proprietary software.
Got a Monsgeek M3 a 2 weeks ago , its sweet
Hi Hipyo!
What do you think about the Keychron Kailh Clione Limacina Linear Switches? Have you ever tested it?
Hipyo have you tried the gateron lunar probes yet? They're wonderful
i was watching that same captain flowers video yesterday LOL
Yay im so happy that i bought the monsgeek m1 half a year ago and now there's a cheaper better version and im regretting my decisions!
So should I go build the monsgeek m1 v3 or buy the rainy75? (Or the womier sk75)? I cant decide 😭
How is the wireless connections? I don't think ive ever had a good stable wireless connection on a keyboard yet
howdy hey! what do you recommend for a silent creamy sounding switch hipyo (if theres any switch like that) should I go with morandi idk
Could u please do a review on the Gateron Curry Switches? I have them on my GMMK 2 and I love them!
I have the monsgeek m1 v2 and I like the changes but I wish they would have kept the side cut out. In my opinion it looks nicer.
I am willing to build a "sounds good" clicky keyboard with Arctic fox or Kailh Box Summer switches. Should I consided M1W v3?
@Hipyo I recommend you to try the kzzi k75 pro keyboard very good for the price
$25 shipping 😩
Skill issue
For what?
Hey hipyo you plz rate the board with others like the rainy 75 and tide? Btw what rank are you in valorant?
Hall effect : release and the switch immediately resets.
Membrane keyboards:
Am I a joke to you?
"oh so you made a keyboard on all my recommendations? gues what? THATS NOT MY RECOMMENDATIONS ANYMORE" lol
Have you tried the Keychron HE board? Curious how that stacks up to the others on the market
Hey Hipyo! Can you rank this keyboard, rainy75, womier sk75 and lebog75 for me please🙏 I like them all but would like to know which you think is best in order
Hipyo do you happen to know if they also plan to make a Monsgeek M3 v3?
I recently built a new keyboard with the monsgeek m1v3, it's the first aluminum build i did. And ngl, i love it, it's great. I'm super happy i went with it instead of keychron or something
okay this is actually the next keyboard ill buy
Hipyo i was thinking of getting a new keyboard and mouse since i had mine since 4 years ago and well… they came in the same box for 20$ so i don’t know whats good and whats bad any recommendations?.
And i don’t have a budget well.. if it’s not that expensive that is😭
I was also thinking of buying Logitech mouse and a rk 75% keyboard
Finally a keyboard with ISO layout!!!
Make a video on The Ultimate Comparison - Rainy75 vs Bridge75 vs AulaF75 vs ND75
He has something against Aula I think lol
@@strayiggytvhow many times does he have to tell people that he is going to do it soon

@@strayiggytv he replied to countless comments asking if the exact same question so if you looked at a decent amount of comments on his recent video you would be able to tell
@@theyeetgod I slipped his last video so i must have missed those, my bad. He never responded to any of the ones I've posted on but if it was the last video that makes sense j missed it.
You should have a tshirt that says "we'll talk about that later ..."
It's so fun to hear him give a reason not to use akko switches 😂 Great and insightful vid though, wish there was some akko switches used
Hello. Is there any chance you`ll make a video about budget full size Keyboards you would recommend? Right now i am totally overwhelmed cause of the massive ammount of possibilities. But there seem a lot fewer 104/105/96% Boards then i anticipated. Doesn`t matter if barebone or fully assembled, 2,4 GHz or wired, screen or knob, VIA support is a nice bonus. Or maybe the community has some ideas?
captainflowers cameo was crazy
Hey hipyo I jus wanted you to review the Surmen M75 75% it’s only 60$ and it sounds amazing jus letting you know 🔥🔥
I don't understand why my mom doesn't like my keyboard hobby:
Also me who buys 3 keyboards in 2 weeks:
Cool video as always
Hey Hipyo i want to mod my reddragon k630 keyboard can you recommend some budget switches keycaps and a few mods.
also can you review this keyboard in a video it is only $60
Funny cause your modded sound is exactly like the stock Akko MOD 007 with the piano switch 😂
sheeesh, I was supposed to order this keyboard next week, but I guess that after this video they will be out of stock xD
Have you looked at the nuphy field75? I've been wondering about how good it is.
I want to build my own custom keyboard, Im from Canada, do you guys have any recommendations on where to buy online for parts?
1:21 ok so I'm a bit confused by the correction in the video here, are you saying that the M1 V3 is the same as the M3? Because I have an M3 purple but mine is a TKL and I don't think it's the same board as the one here? Mine has the side cut out but no knob
Is Keychron Q1 still worth buying or should I buy the Akko Monsgeek M1V3
the m1 v3 had an iso option on the site tho?
Hey man,
Love you videos but now I am getting confused which one to buy under $100.
Can you suggest a single keyboard under $100?
I have heard aula f75 is the best one. Can you share your thoughts?
Keep going. Love the way you review ❤
is the HE version better then the wooting?
Can it be that only the international version has the updated stabilizers? Whenever I look at the V3 on the European or German store from Monsgeek or Akkogear it still shows the older purple stabs that were built on the old M1W version.
Got new m1w v3 he from akko eu store and it has upgraded stabs.
@@1harakas1 Interesting. First thanks for the info. Very much appreciated. But its still weird. Just looked it up and even there it shows the purpble stabs and doesnt mention any upgrade at all. But if it still comes with the new ones, then where are these product photos coming from haha? Then they wouldve gone thru extra effor showing it off with purples just the send the updated ones after all
Got the M1 V3 from the German Akko Store and they have the new ones as well as the screw ins in the box
3rd world coutries like Europe and Germany probably aren't getting the new version
I'm curious about one thing. Do you sell any of the builds you do? Also, me, as little technical as I am, don't want to fiddle and build a keyboard, but I really do want to own a custom creamy sounding one, but no idea how to get my hands on it, without building. Knowing myself, it would be a disaster. So if you have some for sale, or do custom orders , hell, even a old one you built that sounds nice, I'm all ears.
or actually, thock sounds sounds better
I just saw this board last night and thought "yeah, that's the next one."
Mr hipyo what are your thoughts on the ajazz AK820 pro for $60 I can’t fault it so far
From the outset, I've wandered lands both dark and bright,
Seeking that one keyboard, my quest both day and night.
At last, the Hipyo shines, my beacon in the fray,
A perfect blend of features, my doubts it does allay.
A price that's fair, a dongle spare, 75% and gleam,
Could this be my holy grail, or merely just a dream?
Yet, not all's perfect-no purple on the m1W V3,
The arrow keys too snug, not quite my ideal spree.
And farewell to my combo dongle, ports I dearly keep,
A sacrifice I'll bear, though my heart may softly weep.
But tell me, does it stand tall with feet that flick and rise?
Can I elevate its stance, to better meet my eyes?
Hey Hipyo, you have been making a lot of content about affordable keyboards for a while.
I'd like to request a review / video on a more premium & hard to get keyboard.
I’ve been considering buying the NuPhy Halo75 keyboard but I haven’t tried it yet, can u try it? :3
Hipyo, what tape should I use for my keyboard? It has battery but I'm using it directly using a type c data line. I don't use the Bluetooth feature. Should I use an electrical tape or painter's tape will work?
@@paulinedelator7893 use a non conductive tape!!
ugh the way i just bought the purple hi75... 😭 def picking up the m1 v3 for my next build
Y'know...i like the before. and to my ear (or perhaps to my mind) it sounds less "chattery". With that said, i appreciate you always placing heavy emphasis on personal preference in these videos :)
bye bye mr box!
(PS hell yes ISO version, i'm sick of accidentally hitting enter with this ansi bullcrap)
I was debating on getting this board, the hi75, or the lucky65. I got the latter cuz I liked the sound way more than the m1 v3, even tho ik that the value of the m1 is better technically
Are they going to release a silver version?
This'd be absolutely perfect for me if there's a purple ISO version like the previous versions, something with more flex than my Idobao ID80 V2 (which I just got T_T - it's great but the switches are sorta attacking me when released and I'm wondering if that's the lack of flex)
EDIT: Huh, looks like the regular V3 doesn't have a purple iso on the regular Monsgeek site, but the wireless version has one on the EU site?
I have fallen in love with the Luminkey80, would love to see your thoughts on it!
I tried the 60 and it was fine!
I just recently got this board and I liked it a lot. The only problem I have with it is that the backspace key sounds very weird compared to the rest of the board, like more rattley and loud. I am not sure what it is and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on how to fix it.
Just for a bit more details, I am using the standard plate-mounted stabilisers. But I am not too sure if the stabilisers are the problem, since I swapped some of the other stabilisers around, and they all sounded fine when they were not on the backspace key. I am wondering if it is a design issue, since I noticed that the key is quite close to the edge with flex cuts and the screw connecting the PCB to the plate.
Why is it still so chattery in the end? Would changing keycaps / switches change that?
I see some people using hall effect switches in racing games, as they can define a feedback curve, where they can steer stronger, when pressing deeper, or a wide turn by pressing lightly
Picked up a set of Morandi switches, and I really like them, but I don't think they're a great fit with GMK keycaps as they tend to pair better with a thockier set of PBT keycaps. I paired my GMK Cubed set (one of the only GMK sets I would buy bc I'm a GameCube freak) and the HMX Xinhai linears were a perfect match. Really brings out the clacky sound profile of the GMK caps, which to me sound best when you lean in to that. The Morandis are now in my Gem80 at work so my coworkers don't murder me, and the GMK/HMX combo is at home on the AK820 Pro (soon to be a ND75!)
Bro, my 2-year-old loves the "oooh yeaaah" you can't put just one in the video.
Hey hey hey hipyooooo... can you make a review of the royal kludge s98? Thanks
the gasket thingies at 1:48 are for force break mod. Also, I have the Monsgeek m1 he, the V1. for me personally, it sounds better without the case foams with 3-5 layers of tape mod, also relubed the cream yellows, also replaced the keycaps with akko bow keycaps. I'd describe it as a medium to high pitch thock. like a good mixture of thocc and clack.
What could be helpful to new people is creating a ranking or webpage of keyboards you've reviewed and how they stack up relative to one another. I'm in the market for a 75% board, but don't know much about brands vs. creating your own. How does Akko stack up against Duky - etc. Would be helpful to see an enthusiast make sense out of all the customization of prebuild boards for newer people. Thanks
Hipyo, please do a rainy 75 vs bridge 75~
Can you try Attack Shark K85 Magnetic Switches ?
The stabilizer is their TPU stabs. Performs close to a TX and for a long time now people are requesting Akko to sell them separately
