    I think shadow hunters should be a glaived rogue spec...since there's really only 1 class using glaive, it really limits the need for glaives overall. Race specifically seeing axethrowers would be cool too. If they did necros, i do feel itd be an easier conversion for deathknights, but it should be a caster spec for that class. How horde got vulpiran over ogres is a bit of a mystery to me as well as they are literally part of the horde races from the rts. With that race alone, you get an array of different specs.

    Flamestrike, Fireball, Phoenix, Banish, Polymorph, Mana Drain, Blink, Incinerate, Rain of Fire, Healthstones, Mana Gems, Summoning Circles, etc. There's so much potential for a hybrid class that takes influence from Arcane, Fire, and Shadow Magic. Here's to hoping enough people want it too.

    Normally in lore a necromancer is a mage who dabbles in necromancy. Correct me if I’m mistaken. Also, I’m shocked not to see a shadow hunter. Zuljin was one. Although I’m sure you could somehow fit witch doctor, shadow hunter, and necromancer into a class of its own abilities wise, but armor class would get in the way. I feel which doctor would fit better with shaman. warriors definitely deserve blade master. Warden feels more rogue. Necromancer, play style wise, fits better with warlock. Trinkerer class has been what I’ve waiting for years. If you played Warhammer online, it’s a bit like the engineer class. However with BFA and the advent of azerite, I see tinkerers being able to harness that power and re-introduce “mech suits” and it be a tanky spec. Nothing too crazy lore wise considering the goblins and the gnomes leader both have a Mech suit; the best that money (goblins) can buy and the best that alliance can muster (Mechognomes and Gomes). I have an idea for 2 other specs too! Based specifically on played Warcraft lore (no comics). I would also love to see the Vrykul race used too!

      The thing is WoW has a million lore classes, personally I think this is the best compromise. I don't think it is fair to say it is just a few talents. • @ararune3734
      @ararune3734 9 месяцев назад

      @@Doronsmovies Then they should design them in a way that is not about numbers. Personally, I think the best way would be to make these mostly cosmetic changes. Let's invent some dark paladin type of thing for the sake of simplicity, exclusive to retribution. This dark paladin spec would change the appearance of all your spells, let's say instead of yellowish tint they're now more dark purple or even black. In addition to that, the talents would give you certain utilities that would give the appeal to these specs, instead of just reskins of spells.
      Like let's say for dark hunter, the disengage would now be more like that Sylvanas banshee thing she does in BFA cinematic.
      I was thinking these hero talents should be more along those lines, instead of creating a balancing nightmare, add fantasy appeal elements

    • @xaoc6084
      @xaoc6084 9 месяцев назад

      @@ararune3734Far too generic. Having it be only cosmetic makes it broad and bland. Having to cater for “meta” is something which occurs in every single game. It’s just a consequence of modern gaming play styles

    • @ararune3734
      @ararune3734 9 месяцев назад

      @@xaoc6084 It's irrelevant whose fault it is, bottom line is it reduces the number of options and makes it appeal to fewer players. Compare classic to cataclysm. In classic in terms of class balance and you'll see there were no unviable specs, most classes had quite similar numbers, more classes were appealing.
      I specifically said mostly cosmetic, not only cosmetic. Using the example of Dark Ranger, like I said, Disengage is an example where the ability could be made so much cooler and have more utility. That's just 1 example on how you could upgrade abilities, the cosmetic aspect comes in because it would just look ridiculous without the visual theme updated.

    Tinker I think wouldn’t be able to fit into any one of the existing classes, it really would have to be its own thing to actually work, that being said I hope we see it in its entirety one day, as for hero talents, I love all the ideas thrown out, one that was never mentioned was shadow-hunter which would fit perfectly for Hunter as it’s the most iconic troll specific class aside from witch-doctor(which I feel that fits better for shaman rather than priests personally)

      yeah tinker ought to be its own class. Also maybe because it still weirds me out that only ONE class in the game uses ranged weapons at all, and even then only for 2 of its specs. tinker would be perfect, and hell the Evoker augment spec is a good sign that its possible to create a more mechanically unusual class that doesnt fall square into the holy trinity, which would be perfect for tinker that could be very utility based (just like engineering's main selling point is the utility more than the gear)

    These don't sound like additional classes, rather they sound like renaming of the specs or as names tied to "advancing" (leveling up or something similar) a class in the associated spec. I say this because the class specs and the names given for these additional classes tie together in what the spec focuses on already. For instance, a hellcaller would be destruction warlock, soulweaver would be an affliction warlock, and a diabolist is a Demonology warlock. They just sound like fancy titles tied to class specs.

    vampire death knight, because blood DKs didnt have enough self-healing XD And yes rider of the apocalypse does suggest a form of mounted combat, which is a good fit since the warcraft death knights were almost always riding horses and DKs all have a passive related to their ground mount. Also would be a form of cavalry character that no class fills currently, and would be a great way to turn the usual "DKs have low mobility" completely on it's head. What i'd love to see though would be a more rune-centric tree, maybe with the ability to runeforge certain pieces of armor on top of the weapon and trigger additional effects when using runes (or hell maybe keeping them, like a buff that stacks the more runes you have that arent recharging).
    also having them race-specific is very good on paper, but not sure how that would impact balance especially as there is no way every race would get access to interesting talents for every role their class can fullfill. Like, the San'layne pretty much screams "elf" but then what about blood DKs that arent elves? Would they be stuck without talents that (possibly) best encourage their spec? especially true with races that dont have much lore related to a given class spec (like forsaken with non-shadow priest specs or worgen in general that have little representation for anything out of warriors or maybe druids where they could have a proper pack form that other races just wouldnt be able to control). that why overall I prefer more hero specs that eitehr arent tied to a specific race at all, or that could reasonably be taught to any race that can use the class
    also to keep in mind is that the hero specs will be, at release, a tiny tree with only 10 talents you can pick in it, so I have my doubts that they will completely change how a class plays

    Does that mean it’s replacing current specs? (which I’m not okay with) or is it an extension of your current spec?

  • @Being4Itself
    @Being4Itself 9 месяцев назад

    I don’t know. If each speck has one hero class for it then it isn’t really a new class in any description of. In order for this to make sense, each spec would have to have optional hero classes rather than just one hero class perspective, because why would anybody not play the hero class?

    The rogue hero classes don't seem that generic to me. At least not the first 2. Deathstalker is a class we know from the Forsaken, and a trickster is something I have an idea of what entails, unlike the more vague "fatebound".

    Classes I think would be cool would be knight, runemaster, blood mage. Race specific classes that where promised many a years ago would be amazing. Necromancer and Litch for the Undead, Blood Mage for the Blood Elves, Shadow Hunter and Witch Doctor for the Trolls, Mountain King for the Dwarves, Warden for the Night Elves, Knight for the Humans.

    I think some of the the names feel as if they should be a "bridging sub-duel class" like rather than making (3) for each class type, with a choice or 2 based on spec, imstead have enough of them so that you have maybe 2 or 3 options for each class, but certain classes are sort of clustered so can choose from something traditionally available to a different class. Eg chosen of elune could be available between druids and priests creating your potm, san'lyn available between death knights, priests and warlocks creating your necromancers, sentinal available between hunter, warrior and rogue even, available. It would make it a bit more fresh rather than them giving us access to enhanced spells that we could already use in another spec of the same class. Like i like the idea of the hero talents, its a step in the right direction for sure. feels like this would be a missed opportunity if they release it as its currently been shown though.

    I'd come back for Necromancer. Its easy to think of a mirror for Warlock where instead of Fire its Disease (nature) and/or Frost for Shadow if you want to push it. Moreover that Succubus-Banshee etc pet mirrors would be the core. I always thought it was weird for the Horde to Warlocks and would have mirrored the class at launch, but that's neither here nor there.

  • @SgtTeddybear66
    @SgtTeddybear66 9 месяцев назад +3

    These specializations need to change how a class plays.
    For example a Warden can allow a Rogue to wear Mail/Plate armor. Battle Mage would wear Plate
    A Blademaster Monk could wield Two Handed Swords and gain movesets based around it.
    Then some classes would do the opposite:
    Death Knight Necromancer would make it so you can only wear cloth, But you'd gain more abilities with spells.
    Warriors could have a Cavalier spec that's about mounted combat. Same with Paladins having a Crusader spec that does the same with the new DK Riders spec.
    If WoW wants to make these specs good, that's how they'd have to do it.

    • @ararune3734
      @ararune3734 9 месяцев назад +4

      Do you understand that this would require them to make so many new sets and gear? It's unlikely to happen. If a Rogue can wear mail or plate, then just that one requires dozens upon dozens new sets to fit not just the theme, but also the stats.
      Although stats could be solved if they just allowed some sort of reforging again.

    • @HCIronRN
      @HCIronRN 9 месяцев назад

      Not true???? Plate gear already has optional states for int for Hpally. Mail has agility options for shaman. etc. All they would have to do is make primary stats increase defensive stats. (assuming they wanted to go down that route). But it would cause so many balancing issues giving range classes the highest grade of armor lol (plate)@@ararune3734

    Why not give warlocks the necromancer hero spec? It makes more sense since both necros and locks have similarities.

  • @Greenknight3
    @Greenknight3 9 месяцев назад

    I'm still of the opinion that blade master is a monk, warden is a hunter, and wich doctor is a shaman. Blademasters in lore are shamanic warriors that call apon the elements to quicken their feet and strengthen their strikes, warden abilities are already in the hunter tree including stealth, and wich doctor has less priestly abilities and more spiritual and (and also shamans have the hex ability, get frogged). But yeah, and when it comes to the generic nature of the warrior and rogue, it's hard to make something more original with such a basic stable class.

  • @rafrecon

    Maybe I am off but most of this just seems like new names for specs, which isn't really a new thing or new classes. Also I feel like some of these should be race specific, like dark ranger, sentinel, or anything really that was or is a specific unit of a race.

    Am I missing something or are the talents mostly just passive stuff? Based on what they showed I didn’t see a real “new” ability. The grove warden just buffs treants, not like they added new nature spells. So I wouldn’t get overhyped for these. They will be mostly passives that allow you to further specialize a damage type.
    Don’t get me wrong I hope I’m wrong but from what we have seen I don’t think they are going for huge changes with these talents.

    Diabolist doesn't belong there, this isn't the Diablo universe, there's no devil in WoW. Probably something more attached to the technology of the legion would be better. To give Warlocks a different feel, but essentially the same. Like having your Fel Golems have that metallic look.

    I have a feeling that Lightsmith will be like Grand Artificer Romuul. Someone who tinjers with Light-based crystal tech, y'know?
    Also for hunters, I'm super happy to see Dark Rangers and Sentinals, but what I really want is to see hunters have the choice between dual wielding weapons or a two-handed weapon for Survival. Rexxar is the posterboy for survival hunters and he uses two axes instead of a spear, so why can't we?
