    We had a rather heated rivalry with another team in our league when i played Senior League ball. They were well known for playing as dirty as they could get away with. It was usually the two of us in the finals. I'm not a big home run hitter, I'm a line drive and use to my speed to get extra bases type.
    Their pitcher was going inside hard, and I dont typically crowd the plate much as i prefer balls on the outside a bit I can push them down the third base line. i stepped out and told the catcher if he threw in on me again, he would be sorry. I tagged a hanging inside curve and put it over the short left field fence for a two run homer. I took my time circling the bases and walked the last several steps in.
    The catcher was talking trash the whole time and was still jawing at me when I finally crossed the plate. I turned as I went to our dugout and yakked back at him, "What's the matter, you dont like that?" He of course couldn't help but chirp back "NO!" Before he could say anything else I quipped, "Well then suffer little boy!" My bench and the fans that heard it just roared with laughter. Even the ump was laughing at him. One of the best comeback i ever had in my entire life.

    Baseball is ridiculous. Imagine if Shaq dunked on you then you went and punched someone else on the team to teach shaq a lesson about "showing you up"

    These bat flips and watching doesn’t seem overly egregious to me. The camera pans to 1st base and the runner is there fairly soon. It’s seems theses catchers and pitchers are bending over backwards to make issues out it.

    i have one rule if you didn't like the homerun throw a better pitch next time

  • @h2xxx160
    @h2xxx160 4 года назад

    If you are going to show maybe 7 or 8 events in 10 minutes, it would be much better if you let each event play out. We don't need 6 replays of a 10 second event even if you use the perspective of different announcers.

    I feel like getting hit for hitting a home run is one of the most petty things ever. Don't throw a pitch that gets knocked, and you won't have to worry about a guy admiring it.

    I can't say it enough. I love the fuckin replays. Some channels show a highlight and then talk for 20 minutes and you can't see the highlight again or even know what they're talking about. If anything I'd say get some more replays in there. It'll feel like a NFL broadcast before long

    Benches oughta stay put and let the 2 ballplayers settle it . Hit a homer and pitcher gets butt if you admire your work

    If you don't like it, throw a pitch that doesn't hit your home run.

    Just let them celebrate a home run pitchers can fist pump and shout etc when they get out of situations in innings it's a sport and fun no one complained about Joe Carter celebrations after hitting his world series winning home run

    • @donaldcurry1020
      @donaldcurry1020 3 года назад

      @Brian Fleisch it is the same thing both are celebrations if batter can not do it neither can the pitchers, you can not have pitcher disrespecting batters but celebrating. it all or nothing ,they all celebrate or none, you can not show disrespect to batter by let they child like pitcher celebrate but batters can not. you just a child that understand it a fair to let everyone else celebrate when doing something good but batters can not.
