Dream Sequence had by Tigger Pumba is the true antagonist. You know you have problems when your writing is so chaotic that I had to watch a Dunkey video 3 times to find all the jokes in it yet I still laughed as if they was all jokes.
I love how he took the time to mention the console for every game in the series that he mentioned, to subtly highlight how you originally needed every console in existence to play the whole Kingdom Hearts series

"LMAO THE STORY IS SOOO CONFUSING" is a meme and this video is building up on that meme so people are hopping on the bandwagon because most of them haven't played the games. He got some things right on purpose so most people will get them and then threw a bunch of intentionally confusing non-true shit in there to make it seem like this parody is funny but actually based on the truth. It's not, there are many mistakes in the vid and lots of false things, yet people believe them completely because "yeah it's possible, it's KH after all". For example saying Ventus is one half of a powerful keyblade is completely wrong and "Xemnas is actually Ansem and both of them are xehanort clones" is also bullshit as they are 2 separate beings that spawned from Xehanort when he died. All in all Donkey is on purpose making the story sound even more retarded than it already is and people are all like "YEAH that's how stupid the story is, 4 REALZ dude trust me" just to meme about it.
A clone is the same exact being as you, nobodies and heartless are separate beings with their very own personality and goals. Just because Xemnas and Ansem decided to team up with Xehanort doesn't mean they're clones of him. The closest thing to a clone the series had is Replica Riku and Xion. Nobodies are not clones and calling them as such dumbs down the story and makes it sound stupid as fuck. Getting norted doesn't make you a clone either, Braig isn't a Xehanort clone, Aqua isn't a Xehanort clone etc. They are vessels for Xehanort to insert himself into but they haven't completely become Xehanort yet as they retain their personalities and memories. Sora isn't a Ventus clone just because he has Ven's heart inside him.
This was the video that sent me down a habit hole of Kingdom Heart lore. I had to check it out when people said that there are only 2 jokes. After like a few hours, I can now confirm yeah this is it, outside of the 2 jokes and some made-up names (like there is a time traveling young xehanort, just that he isn't called xenodouglas), it's all accurate. Truly a masterpiece of a video.

While it is easy to to blame Nomura for how horribly convoluted the story is, worth noting Kingdom Hearts was actually gonna have simple plot originally but Hironobu Sakaguchi told Nomura KH would fail if it wasn’t complex as a Final Fantasy game. Took his advice waaaaaay to far though.
It honestly blows my mind what a simple yet brilliant idea this video is. To have the biggest shitposter of a youtuber give a completely straight recap of KH, making it sound like he's making it up off the top of his head to the layman... it's just incredible.
Uhm Dunkey is not a shitposter. He does actual vomedic content with a lot of hard work, timed and cut game sequences to line up the punchlines. A shitposter is Pewdiepie, that just throws homself into another stale everyday episode, steals ideas for others and have zero preparation!!

Watching this video made me realise the biggest problem with KH: The games were released out of order and on purpose, AND on several expensive game consoles...and that one phone game whatever.

Not only are lots of plot points explained less and less coherently as time goes on, but there are also lots of 100% unnecessary plot points such as the Ansem identity theft and the concept of Norting that SOUND cool and important when first introduced, but can not only be ignored, actually add to the general confusion, and not in a good way.

I only said that it's less confusing if you play the games in order... I never said it WASN'T confusing, just less so. Some people try to learn the story in chronological order and if you do that, you play/watch Union X first which has basically EVERYTHING from the rest of the series; Data worlds, Time Travel, Masters, characters transferring their hearts into other characters, etc. The intended order is less confusing... it's still confusing as hell at some points... just much less so than the chronological order.

I saw this title and thought “oh no, he’s gonna confuse people who haven’t played every Kingdom Hearts game, by making up a ridiculous goof on the plot.” Instead he literally just gave an accurate description of the series, and he was only joking like 5 times, and that’s when you realize, the plot of Kingdom Hearts is such a joke, that you don’t need to do anything to the plot to make it sound like a Dunkey gag.
LBGST zockt I’ve played all the games and watched the “movie”, and I can tell you that he is not joking. The thing about the master being the main antagonist of the game, is just a theory and not canon, and tiger being the bad guy is obviously a joke, and he calls characters by the wrong name a handful of times to be funny, but for the most part this is completely accurate

@A. yknow what's funny about the light vs dark. Its such a ff theme. Like I know this game is literally ff + Disney. But it's crazy how often they use light vs dark (literally I mean not figuratively. Many use light and dark to distinguish good and evil but in ff it's literally light vs dark.) And still make it interesting when they use it. FFXIV for example.. right now in the story due to certain events the exact opposite is happening. There is to much light and not enough dark so the world's falling apart. We're becoming the bad guys by being good.
Except the Pumbaa joke .. Its all real .. This is actually the story of Kingdom Hearts so far. A game where Disney characters meet with final fantasy characters has one of the most confusing stories ever made. And thats whats really the joke.

At least 90% of this is legitimately what happens in the plot. Also, every single character who died in this franchise is alive again because of time travel, except Mark Hamill maybe, and they’re all possessed by the main villain, including at least 2 copys of Riku and 1 of Sora.
no1 defends this story telling. no1. the gameplay is fantastic, and there are great scenes. there are moments that in a bubble are fucking awesome. but the story as a whole is the worst thing ever shat onto a whiteboard. Kingdom Hearts is the Pollock of story telling.

@@No_Sleepee It's a lot easier to understand if you play the games the order that they were released in, it's a pain in the ass to watch them in chronological order because the order they are released in slowly but surely gets you used to all of the rules of the universe... meanwhile jumping straight into Union Cross which expects you to know literally every other game up to that point can be a bit of a headache.

Not only are lots of plot points explained less and less coherently as time goes on, but there are also lots of 100% unnecessary plot points such as the Ansem identity theft and the concept of Norting that SOUND cool and important when first introduced, but can not only be ignored, actually add to the general confusion, and not in a good way.

I only said that it's less confusing if you play the games in order... I never said it WASN'T confusing, just less so. Some people try to learn the story in chronological order and if you do that, you play/watch Union X first which has basically EVERYTHING from the rest of the series; Data worlds, Time Travel, Masters, characters transferring their hearts into other characters, etc. The intended order is less confusing... it's still confusing as hell at some points... just much less so than the chronological order.

But it's crazy how often they use light vs dark (literally I mean not figuratively. Many use light and dark to distinguish good and evil but in ff it's literally light vs dark.) And still make it interesting when they use it. FFXIV for example.. right now in the story due to certain events the exact opposite is happening.
