you're folding it wrong...
😂😂
Yeah you need the $1499 iThongs to hold correctly.
Yeah you’re not supposed to try to bend your tablet in half
Beat me to it!
Lol , It folds up like a dream . Trying to copy Samsung . But without the flexible display . Or a hinge .. a bit of a design oversight I'd say, or they'll keep that feature for the pro max max ultimate iPad . # I- Fold
The ultimate stress test: Let a 3-year-old play with the pad while their parent is grocery shopping.
Facts, lol.
And then device goes to eBuy as “kid bent”
Then the 3-year-old tries to guess the password and manages to get the locked out timer above the 64 bit integer limit
Ahhhhhh thats why its only got 8GB RAM and a 256GB SSD because 3 year olds don't need any more RAM and storage than that, the iPad Pro was meant for 3 year olds now I understand 😂

I'm sure that every smartphone company knows Zach/JerryRigEverything at this point and that they address it during the board meetings at some point, either before or right after launching a new product 🤣
RIP Zach, who's to share the same fate as the Boeing whistleblowers.
They can't take out agent 47@@Technopath47
@@Technopath47You can't kill agent 47 himself.
$3.5k for a tablet. Just because it has a fashion company logo. Insane.
A logo that you’ll never even see because you’ll put a case over it. Because let’s be honest, it’ll break otherwise
@@ladyalicent705 Unless there are covers with a cut for logo.
The trust associated with that logo didn’t happen overnight.
Yes, they buld themselves on lies and false promises, this logo shpuld be a warning for everyone interested in supporting this junk company.
A charging port? That's what we call the cash register 😂😂😂
I want to see iPad turning into "paper" plane
Don't you mean iplane?
@@jaymiles8546 yes boss I am a apple fanboy nolifer
XD
@@jaymiles8546 oops sorry i meant Apple Plane
Make it so number 1!
🤡s Why do they keep making them thinner, I'd rather have a larger battery life . Even if it was 1 mm , you'd get hours extra. Are they so creatively bankrupt making a bit thinner is all they have. You're still going to put a massive case on it . They're just rehashing the last things Johnny Ive did .
Apple says no, you don't.
less material=more profit. and you claim youre more enviromental
In fairness, larger batteries are heavier, in a large device like this that can get unwieldy
Because we always want lighter. Thinner = lighter.
@@k.vn.k Are people that weak now 🤔 even 0.5mm thicker you'd get about an hour longer
"Rules are like iPads, they're meant to be broken" is the best quote to come out of SAMTIME's mouth
Apple got nostalgic about bendgate. 😂
You mean people are making up that it’s back? Because it doesn’t bend any easier than the old model?
@@imelliam What
@@crazywarp36 that user seems to be a bot
@@wumi2419 yeah
Maybe this is where they should have used that titanium instead on around the edge of the iPhone.
Exactly lol.
YOU CAN FOLD IT, BUT NOT MORE THAN 7 TIMES 😂 🤣
1:52 what's that part called ?
WE'LL GET RID OF IT NEXT YEAR ! 😅😅😅😅
That's probably the plan
Yup...only wireless charging for the new ipad in 2030.
Apple: It takes courage to move the weak spot from the side to the top. As such, we decided to move the camera instead to the side.
Apple saw zack's videos of him bending their ipads in half and instead of thinking "how can me make it more solid" they thought about how to make it pass that single particular test of bending it horizontally. just so that the youtubers would say it's not bending anymore.
they don't think very much at apple tho so they didn't think people would bend it from the other side
I mean who intentionally fold their phones or tablets like Zack does anyways. If you make your decision based on Zack videos, then I guess you might want to watch how you use your stuff.
@@shuggfilmzandstudio2354 The point of the test is to cover extreme cases. I'd assume if you're spending 1300 on a tablet (a usually secondary device for the house aside from your PC and phone), you're going to be babying it. So should companies stop caring about ruggedness because, hey, if it breaks, blame human carelessness?
@@shuggfilmzandstudio2354 tons of people sit on their phones and tablets by mistake. you put that ipad on a couch and sit on it it's gone.
the whole iphone 6 bendgate was people sitting with the phone in their pockets and the phone bending because of it
Ever thought about the fact that a horizontal bend is much more likely to occur? That's where most stress is when in a backpack, and also it would generally be easier to bend the longer side. It makes sense to reinforce that part. Especially since they can't do much for the other side since there is the USB-C port, which by design HAS to be a weak point, wherever you put it
@@anianii all phones and tablets have a usb c port. they still don't bend.
and this ipad was still very easy to bend vertically.
and you just have to store your ipad horizontally in your backpack for the stress to change from horizontal to vertical. that's not an argument. people store their ipads in all directions.
I get the feeling Apple is testing the waters before they release thier new foldable iphones.
Apple is releasing foldable iPhones?
Well, let them have their time, wait till everyone else perfect this foldable tech so Apple can copy it and call it innovation
@@tullo5564 well not 'releasing' yet.
News say that Apple is starting to work on foldable iphones.
Could be around when the iphone 17 or 18 launches so still a bit of time.
Apple already released a foldable phone, remember the iPhone 6?
@@bosstowndynamics5488 Oh I remeber that.
Those iphones took the shape of your azz if you put in on your back pocket.
@@tullo5564literally when the fuck have they ever done that to any feature on their devices?
Ah, they finally added the bend from the phone.
Cringe content
Bend gate happened 3 times now
Now they have an excuse to get rid of the USB-C and sell you a proprietary wireless charger 😂
I guess this calls for some courage... removing the usb port
Get ready 😂
This could work. There would be no need to charge the device if Apple slows the processor down at the same rate as the battery depletes.
@@2bfrank657 I mean, just buy a new iPad when it runs out of charge. Stop being poor.
Apple really went “You’re Galaxy Z Holding it wrong”
Apple : It's a teaser for our next folding ipad.
next year's ipad will have no ports. wireless only. problem straightened out.
Rip
Now they are gonna remove the charging port entirely😂
Apple secretly launched their folding device 😂
Apple has always had obsessions with things. Like thin, eliminating ports, and making you believe last year's models sucks compared to this year's models. Why not make things fragile and beautiful so when it breaks you will just buy another one.
"Thats not how you're supposed to fold it"
-Apple
"Charging port? I thought that's what we called our cash registers!" 😂
As someone that's no fan of Apple at all, the structural integrity of such a large thin device is genuinely impressive. Also if you're the type to sit on a tablet, you're the type to afford a new one.
Also, if you’re the type to sit on a tablet, you have bigger issues at hand. Being undateable is one of them. 😬
My toilet seat cover paper can be folded 8 times.
"Let's have a look"
*taps iPad that's definitely not a piece of paper*
*breaks*
Theres something very familiar about all this, Cue Back to the future music.
Imagine Carrying IPAD in bag in crowded places
Well, at least they finally added foldables to their portfolio. 😂
There's going to be so many kids that break their parents iPad playing Roblox. 🤣 I'm convinced Apple is like "fk it they'll buy it anyway"
According to GPT-4o:
````
The thinnest material that can resist bending or snapping by human hands is graphene. Graphene is a single layer of carbon atoms arranged in a two-dimensional honeycomb lattice. Despite being only one atom thick, it has remarkable mechanical properties:
- **Strength**: Graphene is incredibly strong, with a tensile strength over 100 times greater than steel.
- **Flexibility**: It is highly flexible and can be bent without breaking.
- **Stiffness**: Graphene has a high stiffness, making it resistant to bending.
Graphene's unique combination of strength, flexibility, and thinness makes it almost impossible for a person to bend or snap it using just their hands.
````
So maybe they should do that.
Now they're competing with thin crust pizza
Thanks, Sam!
Instead of them reacting to their iPad Pro bending, they just need to change its name to iPad Bending Pro 😂😂😂
I don't understand the obsession with thin tech. I just bought a refurbished dell precision laptop. 17.4' screen, about eight freaking pounds of POWER! It's still a hell of a lot thinner then my desktop pc.
Apple: let’s make it thinner
Apple skipped the folding phone and went for the tablet market.
Samsung : We make folding phones
Apple : We make folding tablets but they only fold once
Wow same joke for the 500th time about shitty Samsung phones
With only 29 dislikes on this video at the time of writing, Apple's popularity really fell hard
The bananary design increases the viewing angle!
Literally has paper instead of the real thing 😂😂
"These pesky RUclipsbers" I cant hold myself
imagine if the iPad were to be as thin as a sheet of paper...
It's not a "gate". It's a feature! 😉
I was kind of expecting this to be honest.
I don’t even get why they would want to make it so thin the older ones were quite thin enough. Add some good thermals and more battery instead.
Something useful.
I got an ipad pro ad for this
"apple is giving more reasons to keep my 2yo ipad"
The all new i-Bend Pro.
Apple’s goal is this: for users to use up the same percentage of their money as the bite from the apple logo
Bending or snapping in half aren’t really a problem for most users as the result of the thinner iPad. The main problem with being thinner is the battery could have lasted a lot longer, or they could have put in better cameras and speakers.
If an Australian fakes an English accent, who would know?
Apple Quality Control Chief to Engineering Development Chief: "If it doesn't work on paper how do you expect it to work in real life?"
so apparently Apple will remove the last port with next iPad
jokes aside, i would love to have foldable ipad that can fit in my pocket
Hidé! 1B-samtaka! Everything can be destroyed by destroyers...
The moment I saw that they went thinner, I thought bendgate 2.0
I used to own like 2012 ipads, they also had a lot of permanent bends
So, they are making foldables after all.
They could make one if they put a thin brace around the edges - instead of making the brace solid it could be more cinderblock but the lines would be on a slight angle.
Moral of the story, keep your iPad safe
Same thing happened with carbon fiber at one point, bend it one way and it’s super strong, bend it the other it breaks the glue holding it together. Been fixed since then.
Maybe they should just make the stainless steel on the sides thicker, I don't mean height wise like if you lay it flat I mean depth of the metal piece itself
I hear if you fold the Ipad Pro enough times, you will get the upgrade model called Ipad Katana Pro! But it will only work in Japan, as it's region locked.
Apple's solution will be to remove the charging port next time. 💀
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Who holds there iPad while using it? I strap mine to my wall..
Great to see apple finally innovating, joining the "foldable" phone industry
Why was i expecting a honkai star rail sponsor💀
I folded an acer laptop once, at rightangles to the hinge.
Felt really good.
It’s a pocket device now
I hold, apple folds.
Can't wait for the Apple iCore foldable. Oh, those will be the days!
The thing is thin so you are forced to buy an Apple case to avoid damaging it. For just 999.999.999,99 more!
Th most "capable iPad we have ever created" .. lol.. to do basic stuff, because it still can work as a computer... Lol lol
So if i press hard with two hands i can break it? Big whoop. If i put my foot on my car door and my hands on the top i can also break it. Everything will collapse at a certain point when you’re using it in a way that it wasnt meant to be used
new ipad max pro ultra 5G 8k fold(once)
Apple gonna blame it on the usb c
It really is ridiculous! lol!😂
"They're bending the rules" - Dashie
You are always a must Watch!!!
Don’t worry made it thinner and battery life suffers from being smaller, brighter screen and high performance cpu
Don't give them ideas, now they might even remove that charging port in the name of 'stability' and make it completely wireless charging. They have removed enough ports as is.
The motherboard is along the height. It folds the other way now.
y’all wanted foldable phones, there u go
I Know There Going to Be A Song 🎵 About This
Mine bend a couple days ago in my backpack
Most likely due to a bottle being in there…😅
Anyone who buys an Apple product deserves everything they get with it, lol
next they going to make it foldable as a feature.
That is a new feature... the foldable Ipad, at least they are trying to catch up with samsung.
bending omg
The new iPad taco
They should actually use the folding screen to make an working iPad paper
Ink? Nah i don't have to worry about that
I didn’t know there was an iPad that bent but I knew about the iPhone 6 and 6 plus bending though
I'm was very disappointed when I learned I can't play Flappy Bird with it! :(
Make a paper airplane out of the new iPad
WHY do we need to keep making things thinner? People are still getting fatter so it will make it harder to pick these useless things up.
I want them to be as thick as a turney leg with a battery that lasts for weeks.
But unfortunately companies have started designing their devices with as much hostility towards their customers as possible therefore we may never have something nice ever again
Why would anyone buy such a high-tech piece of equipment and then subject it to enough force to break it? Just remember how expensive it is and take care of it, it's not hard.
