There are trade offs with each. The AK is very, VERY robust, and almost drop dead reliable....feeds pretty much everything and there is little that stops it from going BANG when you pull the trigger. That said, the AR's are more inherently accurate due to the tighter tolerances.....but they require more maintenance, cleaning etc..... I own both and if I had to pick on in a SHTU, NROL situation, it would be the AK47. It's accurate enough, has enough bullet weight to get the job done and you don't have to constantly clean it. Just my 2 cents....
***** It depends on the scenario.....the 74 is a fine weapon and round. But the 47's round, the 7.62x39 is far and away more common....you can find it in a lot more places than you can the 5.45x39.....many rifles are chambered for the 7.62x39....I don't know of any other than the 74 that chambers the 5.45x39. And no, I don't need to "dis" you, we can talk like adults, and if our personal preferences are different, fine. I like the bullet weight of the 47, (7.63x39) I like that I can find it in more gun stores. I like that more weapons accept it I like that it has more knockdown power. If you don't, fine, shoot what ever you like.
Xavier Charlton sorry, but this isn't correct. The ak-12 is currently in his final testing/ pre-adoption stage, just like the ak-107/8 and the aek-971 (final/updated version). Yes, the ak-12 is expensive, that's why it will not be the standard rifle of the Russian military, for this role, the ak-400 would suit perfectly. The ak-12 will basically be the Russian Hk416.
Alex Montreuil Sorry, just saying what I heard www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/2016/09/06/breaking-kalashnikov-concern-discontinues-ak-12-replaces-new-ak-12/
On 23 December 2014, the Russian Army announced that the AK-12, as well as the A-545, had passed state trials and would be accepted into service with operational units for evaluation. It is expected that both weapons will begin being trialed operationally by Russian forces by March 2015.[7
Beside i have a friend in the Russian army they are serving with AK-12 ,thats for the dude down who wrote that is rejected,,Понял дорогой что я написал вверх????
Absolutely not suitable translator, does not know a single correct term for any firearm related topic. New RPK has suspiciously thin profile barrel, while having a 94 round drum, doesn't' add up...
I would like to know how he would modern ices 7.62x39mm could they make it more long gated as the 7N1 round buy long getting around with that stabilize it for longer range capabilities with a hollow cavity in the front with that give it more knockdown power and punch but would it allowed to still penetrate
Indian army should buy the lot, instead of wasting time developing a new assault rifle, the INSAS rifle. they have is only good for digging holes in the ground.
mELE / время указано правильно, про валдай и так все знают ,и читать я что это швабе зенит умею, где он производится ,где продается , что это за модель вот в чем вопрос
The furniture like the stock doesn't define the firearm. It is an AK 12, they just updated the furniture compared to the early prototypes. Like an M4, I can pull off the handguard and stick a low profile gas block, pin on a fixed front sight and quad rail handguard to look like a dissipator M16, but it is still an M4 due to the carbine length gas system.
Новый ак это просто 74ка с обвесом, грубо говоря. Мда.. зря отказались от ак-12 первого поколения, он был действительно перспективный. Единственное что новое в новом ак - прицельная планка. Так действительно удобнее

The average point of destination is not changed even if you have maximum equally distributed dispersion = you spray all over the place. These guys... :D
Well, about these weapons only innovation have the housing, very similarly in American style, fit and design copied very well to remington, to much like at the american standard.
I find it amusing that Russian arms manufacturers copy and often use U.S. weapon designs and accessories. There is nothing innovative with these weapons systems and accessories. Russian manufacturers have always had no problem copying/reverse engineering western designs. Notice all of the parts for the AK-12 that have been copied from western weapon manufacturers. Most of the designs and concepts for the AK-12 were created years ago by US companies such as, Rifle Dynamics, Krebs Customs, Magpul Industries, Texas Weapon Systems, etc. Take a good look at the Magpul MOE collapsible stock, Magpul AK polymer magazine, Eotech optic clone, Fab Defense AK pistol grip, Fab Defense AK hand guard, Texas Weapons Systems picatinny rail top cover, Kreb Customs safety selector, etc. The MA rifle is a copy of the Bushmaster ACR with Magpul flip up sights. The only major visible design change is that the MA rifle accepts ak magazines instead of the standard 5.56x45mm NATO magazines. The RPK-16 has a copied Magpul PRS stock design and Harris bipod. The VTSMO has a cloned U.S. Military Knights Armament vertical grip. The sniper rifles have BCM keymod and Magpul mlok rails. Furthermore, the rifle chassis and stocks are also western designs. Did anyone else notice that the pistols caliber is 9mm NATO, the VTSMO is 9mm NATO, and they had (308 Win / 7.62x51 NATO) sniper rifles. Furthermore, the rifle suppressor had a US SOCOM Surefire ratchet design and the rifles had a modern U.S. designed digital camouflage pattern. The plate carrier and pouches are a U.S. design. In addition, the ak magazines on the body armor had Magpul magazine pulls.
While most of that is true, keymod and mlok is a standard anyone can use, and was intended for anyone to use it, so not that strange. If you make a service pistol in a caliber other than 9mm these days you're probably smoking crack. And I expected them to mention the HSG tacos on the carrier, but they didn't, I still doubt they're claiming they are their design, I think they just bought them.
PEACE IN OUR TIME well how do we know that they didn't license manufacturing rights of western products? or buy the product directly, which would be slightly altered for their specs or for export laws. i know it's wikipedia, but if you look at current equipment of the russian military, specifically their special operations units, it lists items made by companies in the US. like propper or crye uniforms, ops core helmets, a couple plate carriers and some other things. recent footage of these dude in syria and ukraine, they look straight up US aside from the weapons. id like to think our trade and information exchange with russia is friendlier than the news would like us to believe right now. they would be a strong ally, especially against the daeshbags.
Man I really want a Russian made assault rifle sniper rifle pistol machine gun body armor gun. That sounds awesome!
Raging Agent- hahaha
Come in guys, the rifle screams m4 colt. You ask why because even the Russians realized ar 15 m16 has left them behind
Yeah i think they just forgot the commas.
I really want a Russian made assault sniper rifle pistol machine gun body armour.
I would like the assault body armor and the sniper pistol only, the machine gun must be for defensive recreational plinking only.
the guy translates as if he is a google translate app...
i love all russian weapons they are the best
I'm American and I like Russian weapons too. I own an AR 15 and an AK (Bulgarian SAM7). When I go to the range I always grab the AK. I love it.
yeah, but the AR15 receiver is king. can easily convert to other calibers.
ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha

Love AK-12..This new ones even have a perfect look for an AK..
OMG if Kalashnikov made cars, they would never breakdown, the doors would not jam
and you would only have to hit a pedestrian once to kill them
SE09uk ya and they wouldn't look pretty and only be made of 7 parts
SE09uk more like lada crap
SE09uk to bad Toyota is the ak of the automotive industry :/
I should send you to In Range TV to show how wrong you are.
Kalashnikov has made some beautiful weapons-can't wait for the U.S. compliant versions to hit the American market!
I just keep watching him struggle to put in the RPK drum lmao
Legov d it's heavy 96 bullets
Its not loaded
misleading title. i came to see an assault sniper rifle pistol machinegun body armor which sounds AWESOME! but this looks alright i guess
i came to see an *assault sniper rifle pistol machinegun body armor* damnit!
so did I.... I was thinking it might look like a mech suit.
I need at least one of each.
Hagge Bänke Dear Santa,...😊.
Yes cuz ak is superior
Absolutely beautiful guns
Yes they all are (Cheaper) in every way !!!!!!!!!!!! SSgt, Semper Fi
2:10 love that camo design
It isnt an ak12, this is a ak400, i think. The ak12 as a different stock and the bolt carrier is totally different and ambidextrous.
Да.
that model was scraped because it was too expensive, this is the new AK 12.
Xavier Charlton sorry, but this isn't correct. The ak-12 is currently in his final testing/ pre-adoption stage, just like the ak-107/8 and the aek-971 (final/updated version). www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/2016/09/06/breaking-kalashnikov-concern-discontinues-ak-12-replaces-new-ak-12/
Alex Montreuil You are correct.
However the service designation for the ''АК-400'' is АК-74М3.
Awesome Russian Weapons!!
Translation could be better...
Learn russian. Will be useful when you become a prisoner of war =)
Эльдар Файзуллин Так в том то и дело что на русском одно а на английском не всегда верно переведено. Переводчик был обычный, без знаний терминологии.
Haha with you're weapons? I didn't think so
Nice reliable hardware !
damn! that's so coool! noticed bizon is not featured is it gone from production or what? sry pros.. ins
ohhh thanks mate!!:D
The title of this video sounds like a California senator trying to write an assault weapons ban.
Subtitles would be easier to follow instead of dubbing.
Thanks for all you nice efford.
Wait, if this is the AK-12, then what's the name of the rifle about to be adopted by the Russian army?
Ak-12 is long time adopted in the army, not 100% but in many units,,under work is AK-15
So they've changed designations? Which one is the actual AK-12 now? I'm really confused now.
All who are interested in weapons in Russia is also in shock. AK-12 designed in 2015 rejected by the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation.
On 23 December 2014, the Russian Army announced that the AK-12, as well as the A-545,
had passed state trials and would be accepted into service with
operational units for evaluation. It is expected that both weapons will
begin being trialed operationally by Russian forces by March 2015.[7
Beside i have a friend in the Russian army they are serving with AK-12 ,thats for the dude down who wrote that is rejected,,Понял дорогой что я написал вверх????
good looking weapons...
huh. they mixed a scar and a ak. pretty
Does anyone know if the bolt action rifles will be available for civilian sales?
Like a North Karelia sad - "Kalashnikov" needs no comment.
From Russia with Love ;-)
they didnt show ôther cool stuff.the whole stadium was huge and new tech
I wonder how much will it cost to import the AK12 it's fire!!!
that ak looks awesome
A plastic AK... i want one.
***** Had not thought of that
When you go through the customs tell them is a present for your son :)
the overtravel on the safety is a feature not a bug...
Machines of beauty made for death gotta love it!
Looks like the dropped a lot of the design behind the AK-12, likely for cost and training concerns.
Absolutely not suitable translator, does not know a single correct term for any firearm related topic.

someone give me a list of all guns he reviewed, couldn't tell
I would like to know how he would modern ices 7.62x39mm could they make it more long gated as the 7N1 round buy long getting around with that stabilize it for longer range capabilities with a hollow cavity in the front with that give it more knockdown power and punch but would it allowed to still penetrate

have some faith on R&D, manufacturing has to start somewhere. even if they fail now they'll have the experience to produce a better product next time.
Jishnu panicker
INSAS is a disaster
when is it going to be available to the public
So will these help me survive the raiders of the wasteland?
I am looking for a pink 9 mm or any other type of small handgun that's pink or pink camo

Скажите, правильно ли я услышал, что с новой СВ-98 при стрельбе на 1 км, разброс составил 6 см?
I wish someone in the U.S. produced a precision bolt action rifle chambered in 7.62x54r, instead of being limited to sporterizing mosin variants
alaskajohn907 plenty companies do. it's called 30-06
With Trump as president We'll have better trade and second amendment rights .maybe we'll be able to get these!!!!!!

WOW LOOK THEY PULLED OUT ALL TOYS ON THESE
whats the name of the body armor ?
russian engineering at its finest
That was awesome.
What happened to the ak 12?
This is just a modified ak 74. Ak 12 had a different body and stock. And here it has an m4 stock. Wtf?...
