I have rarely seen a comment section so full of "Bu-Bu-But I know it better because of my three tours through moms basement!!!!!!!!" idiots. My God. It's fucking infuriating.
    Other than that, very nice presentation! I love the new look of the AK-Family.

      To me, it was very reminiscent of the HK MP5 in terms of both its form and its function. They even included the AMB-17, which is essentially the HK MP5SD.

    • @redrickschuhart1530
      @redrickschuhart1530 2 месяца назад

      Kalashnikov is a factory in Izhevsk, AS Val is made by their competitor in Tula. AM-17 uses short-stroke piston with 3 lug rotating bolt and is available in 5,45x39 and 9x39 (AMB-17), AS Val uses a long-stroke piston with 6 lug rotating bolt available only in 9x39. It's just another Kalashnikov's attemp to attract army attention to the 9x39. Previous one (AK-9) failed. But the main bet here is on the AM-17 in 5.45x39. It's a replacement for the AKS-74U, production of which stopped somewhere around 1994.

    • @Pidalin
      @Pidalin 4 года назад

      @@BigSmartArmed I think in modern army soldier can choose how to carry his rifle, there are left handed and right handed people etc...it's logical that only one correct way is nonsense. I understand have that on left side can be against some Russian army rules, but that advantages are really great, they should not ignore that reload with lever on left side (for right handed person) is much faster. Maybe it's not only about how to carry gun but maybe even about they are afraid about moving lever during shooting, it could hit your arm I guess on AK. New guns have that lever smaller or more up and also some of modern guns doesn't have it moving while shooting, but I think that's not good for military gun because of it's more complicated construction. But I think even that can be solved on AK.

    It's a shame that India can't design a good assault rifle. DRDO needs a kick in the butt.DRDO has become a money pit production nothing useful of note. May be the new government needs to restructure the organisation in the near future. Also the organisation should look at its capability and promise what it can deliver.

      In such a short amount of time our weapon researchers can't develop one 7.62×39 and one 7.62×51 rifle plus test it and make it compatible with every environment.... In India sometimes the govt doesn't pay any attention to military small arms and then realize all of the army inventory needs to be replaced all of a sudden, it comes as a shock. But still the new govt chose two best options and didn't make the mistake as they did with INSAS (decision taken in a hurry)... We will produce good quality weapons for our military needs but that'll take time and our military will be vulnerable until it gets developed.
