The only things which are remarkable about those guns are the PRICE and the SPEED in which these are being wiped out... USA is behind 10 years at least... Regarding ammo calibers.... You clearly do not know much about it. Every round has some advantages and disadvantages. USA´s new round is big mistake IMHO. The only advantage is big power and longer distance capability. However non of that could be usefull in Ukraine, soldiers have no chance to shoot at each other at longer distances, mostly kill each other at very close range where Russia´s 5,45mm round is very good. (Up to 300m). On the other hand bigger round like the one you mentioned has many weak points: 1) short barrel life due to high preassure.. 2) Smaller magazine capacity 3) Soldiers can carry far less ammo due to the weight 4)Guns must be heavier too. 5) Finaly, the biggest disadvantage-huge recoil, very bad for good precission, very bad for new soldiers. Means this new round could be an advantage in Afghanistan for instance (open places without much of tall grass , bush and so on) , however it would be just big pain in countries like Ukraine(I bet soldiers in Ukraine would not prefere this round over the smaller once)

I hate to be the one to rain on your parade Putin, but NATO is eyeing a new calibre in 6.8mm. The military is adopting a 6.8x51 cartridge, which is more powerful than 7.62 because it is loaded to higher pressure. To handle this higher pressure, the cartridge case has a steel reinforced area near the headstamp, sort of like a belted magnum. The 6.8 bullet itself has a better ballistic coefficient than military 7.62 bullets have. So the 6.8x51 launches at a higher velocity than 7.62, and loses less velocity over distance to drag than 7.62 bullets do. This gives the 6.8x51 a longer effective range than the 7.62x51. Best of all it is only manufactured so far by SIG though the US Army will begin under licence soon, expect other NATO armies to adopt in short order
HAHAHAHAHA! Russia still cant manufacture a unique new firearm after 78 years of Kalashnikov! They change the woodwork, modify a valve or simply change it barrel and try to hail it as never best slice of cheese to have with the vodka. Same shit...different bowl!

Maybe for export or for using captured ammunitions. Russia has been using 5.45mm for their rifles for a long time now (since the ak74 has been introduced, i believe). If i am to guess, this switch is probably because the 5.45mm/5.56mm are more suitable calibers for assault rifles (lighter, more stable) while the 7.62mm are more suitable for light to medium machine guns (for suppression)
Kind of amazing yea know, for us the “grandpa guns” were your .38, Thompson, maybe a ruger and a Winchester, but for our grandkids the grandpa guns will be the AKM and the M16 variants.

If a tank is hit then you want the crew to survive and Russian tanks have proven to be death traps. The way they were designed and where the ammo is located makes almost any hit completely destroy the tank and its crew!

they are just depressed due to lack ammunition for small firearms as rifles 😂😂😂
They already make them. Been doing it before the war in Ukraine
Available to buy when?
Never in the US, import of Russian small arms was banned after 2014. There is a Kalashnikov USA which is licensed to make them here, you could ask them if they will produce these.
@@jackuzi8252just import from mexican cartel aka government
These have existed for years already…literally.
Yeah the AK102s use 5.56. This really is nothing new. Basically it's an AK-12 chambered in 5.56. Actually, just looked it up with Kalashnikov concern and that is exactly what it is. It's in the AK-12 family, just in 5.56 chambering and which was put into series production in 2022.
Nowadays we can see the "quality" of USA´s weapons in counterofensive in Ukraine. The only things which are remarkable about those guns are the PRICE and the SPEED in which these are being wiped out... USA only has the most expensive military in the world, while Russia has the strongest army in the world and the most experienced army in the world..
Okay! Then why does Russia, China and many other countries continuously steal the US's weapon designs! Lol Just like this example of then stealing the 5.56 round! However the US is moving to a new better round that has the accuracy of the 5.56 and the stopping power of the 7.62.
How many wars has the russian federation won? Lol good joke and nice try. Russia cant even best the poorest country in europe that fully relies on donations. They didnt even manage to beat georgia. Russia is a joke. Without nukes, usa or china would’ve already annexed russia
@@onewade1974 Both sides steal each others technology. Russia is the top country regarding hyperonic weapons, Russia not only have them in service, but also Russia is using it during the conflict.
2) Smaller magazine capacity
3) Soldiers can carry far less ammo due to the weight
4)Guns must be heavier too.
@@onewade1974
This fable of yours about "Russians always stealing US technology instead of creating its own" is quite amusing.
Because Russian military tech is quite unique and is being aggressively sought after by none other than the good old US themselves - that's how far apart reality is from your staple silly pep talk.
They have always done that. We in the USA chamber 7.62x39 and 5.45x39 too. Both are very good cartridges. This open the AK to be sold to more nations.
Welcome to Russian army, here is a picture of our newest weapon. And here is the weapon you will actually use in combat it is a rifle that was used in world War II. Do not ask for a new rifle we only use the new rifles to shoot people who ask for a new rifle.
Ahhhh shit 🤣🤣🤣🤣😆🤣😆🤣😆🤣🤣😆😆🤣😆🤣😆🤣😆🤣😆🤣😆🤣😆😆🤣
AK 47 any day any time over any rifle which nato has, just ask how that things has screwed US forces for decades
FINE if you want 200m junk! In the captured weapons bunker on Hill#34 outside Danang, the South Vietnamese had thousands of captured weapons, the CHICOM and Russian AKs were the worse quality and the Polish, Bulgarian, Hungaian were some of the best! All, no matter how well made were still only 200m accuracy weapons! In addition their lacquered steel cases, usually rusty, were NOT conducive for good accuracy!@@briant5685
Russia aligning itself with NATO standards. Perhaps looking to join NATO. Behave yourselves and pull out of Ukraine. 😂🤣🤪
They are making 5.56 AKs since the 90s, it's for export only.
You JEST, nobody wants a WEASEL in their HEN HOUSE!
'Precision', 'accuracy', -precision' whouah !!? This thing surely is accurate shoots with precision.
To survive is to change and adapt. AK is changing and adapting. This is made to issue to troops I think.
Beautiful❤❤❤
There is a market for this, but Russia is trying to say, we will be in NATO territory and will be able to use NATO ammo. Pathetic Russia Pathetic.

Double accuracy buff ✅️
.22 is on the menu boys
Are AK-101 and and AK-102 has 5.56x45mm nato? This is quite new AK
No PSA makes them in USA for a good bit now
it is like the AMD 65, the best version of the kalacnikov
Best of all it is only manufactured so far by SIG though the US Army will begin under licence soon, expect other NATO armies to adopt in short order
okay, and? the AK-19 is meant to be exported to other countries, it won't be used by the russians.
HAHAHAHAHA! Russia still cant manufacture a unique new firearm after 78 years of Kalashnikov! They change the woodwork, modify a valve or simply change it barrel and try to hail it as never best slice of cheese to have with the vodka. Same shit...different bowl!
Makes sense, use NATO's captured ammo.
Russia next generation rifle AK-12 Semi-Automatic problem poor in Ukraine like same American next generation rifle XM16E1 jammers problem poor in Vietnam war..
They are making 5.56 AKs since the 90s, it's for export only.
I have 2 AR-15 lowers with 7.62 x 39mm uppers, more accurate than an AK and more killing power than a 5.56mm AR!
5.56? Why doesn’t Russia just stick to its 7.62? I don’t get it
Maybe for export or for using captured ammunitions.
More rounds per pound, cheaper to make!
Kind of amazing yea know, for us the “grandpa guns” were your .38, Thompson, maybe a ruger and a Winchester, but for our grandkids the grandpa guns will be the AKM and the M16 variants.
I tell you as a russian - new Ak's not cool and not bad, but Ak-12 and 15 will always be better, I think americans made the Ak under 5.56, why Ak19 need the russian army idk, if now russia try distans yourself from Western innovations.
Stupid choice 545x39 is designed for 16 inch barrel 556x45 is designed for a 20 inch out. A shorter barrel will have way less muzzle flash shooting 545x39 and is alot softer recoil
Okay? Russian army stays with 5.45
NO WAY!! THEY MADE THE SAME GUN AGAIN?!?!?! WOW THESE GUYS ARE SO CREATIVE!
