Master class from the All time legend!
What if Bill got in that 88 car when Yates started a second team? He could of won so many more races. He will tell you, starting his own team was a nightmare! Rarely competitive from 95 to 2000. He lost 5 years of wins. Even if he averaged 2 wins a year, he would have 50 wins! Such a shame. Proved them all wrong in that dodge #9. Pocono, Rockinghan , homestead and of course Indy, all in his late 40’s. Legend!!!! Love you, Bill!!

I was only 2 years old that year.
Which means i dont remember $hit. However i love Nascar Since 95'.
I cant help but think of that big "What if"? about Davey Allison, Alan K & Mr. Tim Richmond. I also miss hearing B.P. calling races on raceday.

Such a cheesy and corny intro yet effective by showcasing Davey Allison's season thus far but that's what made NASCAR great back then among other things! Much better than we see today (if we even get one these days) when it comes to intros and what not.

Thanks for uploading the video. I like to make DVD's of races from years ago and was glad to find this one. I am having a problem though. I use Real Player to download videos and then convert them to mpeg format for a DVD. This video downloads fine, but there is no audio on the downloaded file. Any idea why? This is the first video I have downloaded in which this had happened.

Hillin at 27 would be an old timer in todaze NASCAR. Wasn’t it great rooting for (and against) proven drivers with recognizable names that, in most cases, worked hard to get to this point ? How old was Dallenbach Jr. here? Nowadaze the “pros” won a go cart racing series in Palooka CA or wherever the 1%ers gather

Adjusting the spoiler with a mallet. This was real racing. Do that now days and nascar would flip their shit. They want every car so identical.

+Randall Chapman Yup Neil Buddy and Mike Joy were good too at this time.
It's a shame we can't get this quality of commentating again. Nothing wrong with what we have but no where as good as these times w/ESPN and TNN

@@pp3k3jamail Also during the last couple of years with Melling Ford started funneling tech and money to Jack Roush instead of Melling due to Roush being over Ford's SVO division. The rise of Roush coincided with the fall of Melling.
