The guy who fixes the toner, the Xerox guy, they guy who took a swing at me. LMAO! I never heard that before in the millions of times I've seen these skits!
I heard that Rich Meister is now CEO of that company. When he saw a problem he fixed it quickly and management was impressed at what a resourceful problem solver he was in a pinch they just kept promoting him. He now runs the business, roams the halls saying hello to everybody making copies and getting coffee.
Brilliant. An average of 43 minutes per day are wasted at the copier making small talk but putting him next to the copier reduced that waste down to 0 and productivity has never been higher
Honestly, I wish we had someone like the RIchmeister in the office. All we get at the copier is grimacing and the occasional dose of poor anger management. And, one time, sobbing.
Ben Wyatt references this guy in the Soda Tax episode (ep2 season 5 of Parks and Recreation): *Ben*: Hey, Ellis! Ell-bow! Ell-Chupacabra. Drinking coffee! *Ellis*: What? *Ben*: Oh, it's...it's...it's from 40 years ago. Never mind.
That character probably save Rob Schneider's career at SNL. All these years later I still say people's names like he does sometimes where he draws out the middle syllable extra long. I'm sure they have no idea I'm doing this impersonation. Way before their time. But I know!
This and fam down by the river was the first thing I remember memorizing repeating and memorizing from SNL making my friends laugh with and my family annoyed with
That character such a simple premise but he really did such a great job with that skit. I just watched a few in a row after they popped up one after the other lol. The second one is where it really kicks in and he’s just awesome. Rob slaying as the copymeister.
Yes, I have a co-worker who does something along these lines. Usually horrible 'day of the week' comments like "I blinked and it's already Monday" "It's only Tuesday" "It's hump day" "It's Friday Eve" I have to bite my tongue every time. I just want to say "You know I have a calendar right?, dumbass!"
There was one other episode where someone else played , Richard- this was also the episode where Bacon did his Vanilla Ice Skit on the Dark Side with Nat X .
When Kevin Bacon was checking the printer I was so hoping Rob Schneider would go, "THE BACONATOR!"
‘Bacooon! Going to get a Baconator at Wendyyy’s after making copieees!’
Meatatarian guy! The Meatster!

ahhhl right!!! The spieg-meister. Spiega-tola...herr spiegelmeister!!!
I always loved Rob Schneider. I love his beautiful eyes.
I bet he's too short for you, though.
Everybody in this sketch now has a Bacon Number of 1.
I saw Rob Schneider at my former workplace a few years ago. Does that mean that I have a Bacon Number of 2? It would be cool if I did!
@@patricianunez5423 I think so!

On my way to make copies at work, it feels like it’s almost mandatory to have this playing while you’re doing it!
I always loved how Kevin Nealon played his character in these sketches like 50/50 gay.
The man who took a swing at me.
Fabulous writing and acting work!
Kevin Bacon still with his Tremors hair 😂
My favorite the stevo and the sandstress.
Admiral Checklee VonToner!!😂
Me! The me-meister! Me-a-tola! Still funny after all these years!
Paul Simon! Simon-meister! Still crazy after all these years!

@@donjackson4624 no, you mean overrated. I like him, you dont have to. They invented this thing called choices.
Hey! That milk's the same brand as the one in Leftover Night!
Too bad there was never a "Rick Burns Computer Guy Meets The Richmeister" skit.
I would totally try to sneak in office shots with Rich
There are real people like this. They are bizarre and terrifying.

Imagine calling to have your copier serviced, only to have Kevin Bacon and Adam Sandler show up at your office.
This was Adam Sandler’s first appearance on SNL.
Huh, I didn't know that. Adam Sandler is my number one favorite actor of all time!!!
Being a photo copier repair technician for 34 years I like it

Hi, welcome to the Copy Guy; you must be new here.
One of the most irritating characters on SNL that I can remember. Funny for five seconds.
