This is really well done. I love the use of the different levels of your voice. Delp was a freak of nature (in a good way) with his voice, and I don't think you try to capture that, and that is what makes this a good cover...it is your own without being self indulgent. Hard to qualify that, but you pulled it off. Plus the drums kick ass. And the Bass. and the Guitar. Boston is not easy to reproduce. A lot went in to their sound. You capture the feeling...and more. I think this is slightly faster than the original. It gives it more of a youthful anticipation (to my old ears) but it is something you might want to play with, especially if you do it in live shows...make sure you don't go too fast or you will lose the wistfulness that makes this song so good. This song is one of my favorites, and you do it justice.

Well, after many years watching stuff on YT, I finally made my first comment a couple of weeks ago on a vid related to my car. Now I just had to post my second ever comment here. I've been following F211 for maybe 4 years now and they keep surprising me (in a good way). I was born in '62 so this is my kind of music and it takes guts to cover Boston, and even more so this song! F211 just knocked it out of the park, as they tend to do and it was really impressive! Love these guys for quite a while now and will keep waiting on Thursdays and hoping for their further success and the same for Concrete Castles.
Very nice. But I can't figure out what's going on at a couple spots. At the end of the turnaround solos (e.g. ~3:35), it sounds like they are in the wrong key - like a key higher? Still, a very good job - stellar voice.
