"...normal ain't cool". I've seen this car in person quite a bit and everytime it stops me in my tracks. Eddie and crew built a sick ride and they are a great group of people
@ChickenM4ster he's applying Gibbs oil.. It's used to lubricate guns and metals that you do not want to rust.. Spray it with Gibbs and wipe is with a scotch brite ..
this guy removed the old stock 1953 tail lights change swap for the 1954 tail lights so it actually fits good.. I like that 1954 tail lights better than the 1953 .. nice and also the front chrome bumper bottom piece it's from a 1954 as well..
thats one heck of machine u got there sweet...accuair.com thats whats up....im getting a 54 chevy thts what i was going for myself...sweet ride much respect...
It's not often I have a video shared with me that I actually give a rip about; it's a nice change. Thanks for sending it to me. Are those 54' taillights? I've always preferred those. Slick ride.
Wow! So nice.. I'd like to know if that car is gunna be in any local car shows. I live in Santa Rosa. The copper and bare metal paint is something I'd really like to incorporate in one of my cars. Saludos homies, would like to see more from this club.
Usually they take the car to bare metal & then spray a clear coat over the bare metal I like this ad the car is bad ass the accuair kit is bad ass but the only thing that bug's the hell out of me is that the add acts like accuair has a kit for this car & that couldn't be more untrue it takes a lot of work to bag that style car including changing the drive line & rear end as well a lot of people change the front end suspension to a mustang II conversion so anytime u see a car before 1955 on bags just realize it took a lot of work & a shit load of money to get that car to go up & down
at 2:37 he's applying something to the this bare metal car what is it??? He is not afraid of Rust, I mean here in South Florida we get rain 3-4 times a week, driving bare metal and let your car park outside you will catch rust in no time and bye bye.. How can he keep the Bare metal clean so clean and not so much rust? Does he maintains or use some product to protect the Bare Metal from Rust or from Rain and Salt. Or he keeps his car inside garage away from weather rain sun and other things.. but how still he is applying some product to the bare metal or something.
we call it a scratch pad.they are red or green.use them all the time for prep work but has to have primer to hide the scrathces it leaves.just a body shop tool for sanding or prep.i use it alot on new plastic before paint to make paint stick better.hope this helps
Curt Ray Yes but he use it as a regular basic type of thing.. I mean he likes the look of the bare metal shiny which is awesome with the reflection of the Sun looks more raw and cool but still if it rains he's screw even if he use the scratch pad and primer the rain will give rust collection to the surface of the bare metal.. now if it rains he will have to clean up wait till is dry the metal and soon rust will start to show up pretty fast. will that scratch pad and primer will help protect from the rain to rust or something ?
Hi friend!! are you using the original arms? I'm try to put a power steerind in my 54, but i would like to do it in my original suspencion...can you say to me something?...Some steering box that i should use? Tks..Alex (Brazil)
You're right, normal ain't cool. Make it a one off and your own to put a style down in the book of builds. Here's to the little guys, if it weren't for us we wouldn't have the great and different car styles we have today. Keep the tradition.
Accuair is cool but i got baggd s10 bodied 3 inchs with basics airide and rides the same . Got friends with accuair feels the same. But accuair is clean look. Nice build guys

Frank Davignon I’m currently building my 54 like this . To get it that low you will have to 4 link the rear and upgrade to a mustang II front end . Total for everything you’ll need is about 7 grand . That doesn’t include labor if you’re having a shop do the installation.
"...normal ain't cool". I've seen this car in person quite a bit and everytime it stops me in my tracks. Eddie and crew built a sick ride and they are a great group of people
I'm pretty sure the accuair system adjusts on the fly for passenger weight and provides more lift as needed.

How about an update video on this car..? I'd like to see the progress they've made since this video was shot.
It’s probably sagging away in the corner of a shop somewhere 😅
Car was sold to a close friend of theirs and still is cruising all over California

Looks like something close to a brillo pad to remove minor surface rust that might form or just to get it shiny. He's in SoCal so not much moisture.

TheTW13 Actually they are in Nor Cal Salinas area I believe
Orlando Agu I guess that is on how you divide SoCal and NorCal. Still not much rainfall there.
Curt Ray
