  • Adrian Peterson - Don't Want No is a music video montage of Adrian Peterson's phenomenal football dexterity. I endeavored to include fragments of AD's underutilized and much criticized receiving and blocking abilities as well.
Song: Don't Want No - Xavier Marquis featuring Munqs

At what point do we accept him as the best to ever do it? Speed like Dickerson, strength like Jamal Lewis, elusiveness like Warrick Dunn, injury recovery better than Gale, and ball carrying vision like Barry.

ugo890 Sadly this fuck up last season might just be enough to kill his stats from making him undeniably the GOAT. Cause the 10 game injury + 16 game suspension is about 3000 or so yards hes now lost

***** That is kind of true but no matter what happens from now on stats aside he has had a long enough career to be in the convo, easily a lockdwon top 3 back and definitely a valid choice for prefrence on an All Time team as a starter.

This is the most incredible running back highlight reel I've ever seen. To watch someone that big and powerful accelerate through holes and leave safeties in the dust like that is simply amazing. Tremendous cuts, patience, acceleration, power, vision, and will to lay the boom and fight for the endzone.

This is the dumbest comment i've ever seen, AD gets stopped easily? please, dude averages 4.9 per carry in his career, your talking about the pats like a team AD has played once or twice you have no idea what your talking about. AD has more TDS, more yards, averages 25 yards more per game rushing all the while being the focal point of MN offense for the last 10 years. no matter what defense, AD has ran over, through, around whatever. Chicago had Urlacher in AD's early years and he ran rough shot over them. In 2009 the packers had the number 1 rush defense an AD had to face them twice, 2010 AD faced chicago twice who who number 2 rush defense, played against the jets with the number 3 rush defense, 2012 he faced the number 1 and 4 rush defenses running over 2k. Your arguments are weak

    • @redman0901
      @redman0901 7 лет назад

I think you meant he's the best Viking running back, the best running back to watch that ever played the game was barry sanders. AP reminds me a lot of him, without the fumbles. AP was hit or miss when the game was on the line, how many games has he won with a break out long run, how many games has he lost with a fumble in the red zone or where ever, I can recall about even.

    • @bsdavis011
      @bsdavis011  7 лет назад +4

An argument can certainly be made for Barry Sanders being the greatest RB ever but Adrian Peterson is not a fumbler. In 10 years Barry Sanders had 3,064 carries, fumbled 41 times (1.3%) and averaged 5.0 yards per carry. In 10 years Adrian Peterson has 2,418 carries he has fumbled 39 (1.6%) times and averaged 4.9 yards per carry.
Adrian Peterson did not lose a fumble in the NFC Championship game vs the Saints...he fumbled twice, a Viking RB recovered one Peterson himself recovered the other...check the box score. There was an exchange fumble right before halftime which is attributed to the QB. The half ended with the game tied at 14-14. Peterson did however have 122 yards rushing and 3 TD & 2 rec for 14 yards in the game but he lost no fumbles.
The fumble in the playoff game vs Seattle was the first and only fumble Peterson had lost in a playoff game but he did carry the ball to Seattle 9 yard line to set up the potential game winning 27 yard FG in the games final seconds but the kicker missed.
Adrian Peterson is 16th all time in NFL history in rushing. Of the 15 runners ahead of him on the list only 3 have less fumbles than Adrian Peterson.
Thurman Thomas had 50 fumbles in 13 years
Franco Harris had 90 fumbles in 12 years
Marcus Allen Had 65 fumbles in 16 years
Edgerrin James had 44 fumbles in 11 years
Jim Brown had 57 fumbles in 9 years
Tony Dorsett had 90 fumbles in 12 years
Jerome Bettis had 41 fumbles in 13 years
Frank Gore has 42 fumbles in 12 years
Eric Dickerson had 78 fumbles in 12 years
Barry Sanders had 41 in 10 years
Walter Payton had 86 in 13 years
Emmitt Smith had 61 fumbles in 15 years
Only 3 with less: Marshall Faulk with 36 LaDaninian Tomlinson with 30 & Curtis Martin with 29...so how can Peterson be considered a fumbler?
Adrian Peterson has 100 touchdowns...he's lost 23 fumbles...about even? Hardly.

You people who always bring up Sanders and especially Jim Brown really don"t get it do ya. Adrian Peterson as well as the rest of the current NFL players are far better players than the ones of the 60"s and 70s.The players are way bigger faster and most of them stronger. This due to the evolution of the game as well as the players.I have said once and I will say it again Adrian Peterson will retire as the greatest running back ever. And if you were to read the interview that S.I.with Barry Sanders about a year ago he himself said these same words. There is no faster, stronger, fearless, running back ,not to mention the unbelievable vision he has on the field. If you were to ask ANY NFL player who they fear the most when it comes to trying to bring a runner down 9 out of 10 will say AP.I am 79 years old and along with watching 6 and a half \decades of football I was a player with the Baltimore Colts for a while (6 months )in the early 60s before being a assistant at small mid west college

    • @bsdavis011

Joel Lane Thank you sir!…I agree, AD is the best I have ever seen. As Ike Taylor said he’s a freight train with the speed of a race car yet he’s agile as a cheetah, he’s Jim Brown (power speed), Gale Sayers (moves/acceleration while cutting) Walter Payton (fierce competitor/power/quickness), Eric Dickerson/Tony Dorsett (full speed in three steps) Barry Sanders (quickness/moves/vision) Emmitt Smith (heart/balance, muscle endurance)…all rolled into one.
Examples: pause at 4:29 #24 Ike Taylor is in the hole in perfect position and he can’t even touch him, as his foot hits the ground he stiff arms a LB accelerates at the same time and outruns the safety Ryan Clark, who had an angle, for the TD. AD does the same thing at 4:44 and then the freakish acceleration. At 7:09 he should be tackled for a 3 yard loss but he makes 3 defenders miss in the backfield, Barry Sanders like, and gains 4 yards…he’s unreal.

Too be forever mindful that the Caucasian Quarterback in the National Football League exist by "design", and sadly not by merit, integrity, virtue! I just wish I had the knowledge of the game and players then that I do now; went to the opening game at the Metrodome and had no clue as to what was going on, but it was still exciting being there!! My ultimate wish would be to watch a game now sitting between my father and 100% Cheese Free; that would be the best!!

Best running back I've ever seen when he was in his prime. Disclaimer, I never saw emmitt, walter, or Barry play but ap never had a team around him and he sure as hell never had emmitt smiths line, I know that for a fact. Dude is an insane athlete. Sucks that he missed 2 seasons..

Bravo my Brother from the same mother. Beautiful video compilation. You get better and better. Should be must see video for all the AP haters and doubters. The silence from them would be deafening. He is arguably the best RB in the history of the NFL. The return of a motivated AP with the emergence of the first good QB since Brett Farvre, in one Teddy Bridgewater the vikings are going to make some noise this year. Can you say "super bowl homeboy".

Adrian Peterson will not be denied cause he was a force to be reckend he was awesome to watch 2007 nfl draft he was a 1st Round 7th overall University of Oklahoma i do miss him he will be in the Hall Of Fame real soon 2007 Rookie of the year he had 296 rushing yards vs Chargers it was one of if not the one of the greatest single game performance in NFL's History he won the 2012 NFL's MVP he became the 2nd RB to rush for 2,000 yards in a season i understand he did win or play in his 1st Super Bowl Title but it's not his fault let alone he won't be haunted of the things he didn't do like win a super bowl or another 2,000 yards but he was still the G.O.A.T at the Running Back for sure 0:35

I don't care what anyone says. Adrian Peterson has been, still, and is going to continue to be the best back in the league by far! No other back in the league can have those types of amazing runs, and do them as frequently as Adrien does. Every time he touches the ball, chances are pretty good he's going for at least a 10-15 yard scramble regardless if the original play crumbles to pieces. And there's an even higher chance he's going to break out a 20-30-40 yard run every other play. Most backs will make a 20 yard run every 15-20 plays. AP does them every 7-12 plays. Let's not forget he's actually pretty quick in the cut, makes decisions in an instant, has excellent straight line speed and acceleration..Oh, and he's as strong as an OX! People are starting to worry about his age, but keep in mind he's had a season and a half to recover over the years..I think he's still going to be the best back for at least another 3-4 seasons..

No wonder the Vikings don't want to get rid of him.

I am in a 1,000 dollar-entry fantasy football league, and this year I had the number 1 choice. I took Adrian Peterson on the HOPES that he is even CLOSE to the running back seen here.

Stats don't mean shit, even though AP DOES have the stats. Peyton Manning has the records, but Tom Brady is by far the superior quarterback.

Bill be honest Peyton is a better quarterback if it wasn't for the rings everybody would be saying it was him also. Rings don't matter if you ask me

+Kilan Williams umm no being a better quarterback means stepping up when it counts, not to mention brady has had way less targets over his career than manning.

I'm a brady fan, but peyton manning is the smartest player to ever play in the NFL, we're talking about a guy who once told a defense which play it was running
