- Hey Everyone! this week we are working on a Cu Mai Nakiri chefs knife. Everything from forging the steel, grinding the blade, heat treatment and everything in between. This one was a first for me, so check it out to see how we went!🔪✨
Looks great! Big fan of the copper contrast, and also the Nakiri shape. Keep on going on :D
Thanks very much! It was a really fun project!
I love how the distal taper brings the copper in a reverse hamon pattern on the tip.
Thanks! My forging wasn’t perfect to give that ideal rising line for the heaviness of the taper, but still got a cool effect in the end, thanks for checking it out man 🙏
its a beautiful blade
Thanks very much!
Such a cool knife! That copper damascus look isn't my cup of tea, but that being said, it sure is cool! Nice one mate!
Thanks very much! It is a pretty different look that I’m sure isn’t for everyone, but it’s surprising how different it was to make, and has always been one of those things I’ve wanted to try and make, but definitely not something I want to be doing everyday 😂 thanks for checking it out !
That's beautiful 😍
Thank you! Cheers!
Wow love your work amazing talent ❤
I'm not sure talented, but we work hard 😂 thanks for checking it out!
