- In this video, I go over the basic steps for checking for continuity with a multimeter. if you have a multimeter and you want to see if a wire is connected, and you have access to both of the sides, you can check for continuity. This is useful in many different situations, but primarily used in automotive wiring, household wiring, and consumer electronic wiring. It is a common method that is used to solve problems and get to the bottom of what is causing something to occur within a given set of wiring!

Continuity for dummies. Just what I needed. Thanks!
Watching was exhausting with the enthusiasm you demonstrated but I did learn from your explanation. It's time for some warm coco and a nap.
best video on continuity without a fancy multimeter
Good teacher with voice of comedian 😅lol. Thank you for the tutorial. It's helpful.
Thank you Bob Odenkirk for a great DIY video !

Thank you. Ioved the video lol and learned alot. Visual was needed for and you gave that
Great explaination in plain English
My multimeter has both symbols you are talking about: diode and the dot with sound waves; which one would be used for continuity?
Ty
Use the dot with sounds waves .))) for continuity if you have that option. If not use the diode one and if I am not mistaken you can also use the ohm selection as well.
Thanks for the video! Also you sound like another creator, the mythology guy!
Nice video thank u
Did use to be in the Superstore show?
I love your videos man they’re very helpful I found your channel a year ago and it’s awesome! Keep up the good work
My meter showed 001 not000 when I connected the leads together what could this be?
So when the screen reads 1 = no continuity. Any other number = continuity.
am i the only one who stoped the video in the first 3 seconds ?
Please stop doing the skotty Kilmer impression.
Oh he's no Scotty kilmer That's for certain
Close your eyes and picture Saul Goodman

I needed this video enough to tolerate the voice. I'm that desperate
Hahaha your joking bro. I like your soprano voice...
Very good explanation but the high speech voice is unbearable for me. 😢. Cannot take much at a time....
Is this the most annoying voice on the internet?
Its the yanks, if its not over exaggerated tone of voice, thay talk for too long to explain basic and simple shit
Touching the prongs or wires with your fingers will give a false reading...thank for the video ☠
