Thank you for taking the time to thoroughly evaluate each of these products, Taylor. I am super fair and want minimalistic coverage. I want the expensive stuff but the budget says “nah…” You are helping me shop for the best match for me.
I love this 5 in 1! I love that you had a ton of pictures from you wearing them not just talking about them! I literally only trust you for foundations!
Thank you Taylor for being honest about the elf cc cream! Every influencer has raved about it, and I thought it looked awful on my skin. I tried it for 6 months until I finally gave up. I was so hoping you would say exactly what you did.
I am buying zero makeup lately because lockdown you know and I am tattoo artist so..not able to work BUT I am still watching because I love your foundation recommendations Taylor xD tysm for this video, take care :D

So happy to find you again Taylor. I literally grown up watching your videos. You are beautiful inside and out, I hope you are in good health as well 🙏❤
totally agree about the elf cc cream. the coverage is great and i like wearing it on camera, but day to day i rarely pick it up cause irl... not a cute look on my dry skin. love this foundation friday format!
the milk makeup skin tint is my holy grail of base products...I live in Texas and it withstands heat, humidity, sweating, and looks so glowy and natural without looking oily. I hate the packaging though, I really dislike rubbing the little rolly ball thing all over my face lol
Ohhh. If you could have seen the disgusted look on my face when you said the Milk Makeup one was $42 for half an ounce. I don’t think I could make myself do that. Lol.
I have tried to ELF CC Cream and I don't fully love. I have mixed it with the Found BB Cream to give a little more moisture to it. That inky helps so much. Right now, my absolute go to is the Wet n Wild Tinted Hydrator. The shade Porcelain is a half shade to dark for me but my makeup is flawless and it wears beautifully on mh normal to dry skin.
I agree with you on the ELF CC Cream. It's great coverage and looks great but it can get cakey as the day goes on. I mix it with the L'Oreal Freshwear and love using it that way.
Oh! I really liked this type of review, a few in one, with fully formed thoughts, possibly better than regular ff👀 and especially if this is easier to get filmed!
It’s actually a lot more work because of the long testing periods, different photos/videos, and trying to wear each one long enough 😂 but glad you liked it! I had fun making it.
I love the way that catrice foundation looks on ur skin!! It sucks that my Ulta doesn’t carry that brand 💔 it seems like they have a lot of good products
I got it and LOVE IT. I’m fair, dry, and have fine lines and deep lines in my forehead. I ordered mine on Amazon! My Ulta doesn’t carry anything Catrice in store. I’ve heard other influencers talk about them and I’m like how TF have I never seen this brand in my life?!? Anyway go for it! I think you’ll like it. It’s definitely more full than medium coverage and more satin, not matte like Taylor said. 😊
Love this format, so much info but so concise...excellent! Hate the Elf Camo CC cream, it emphasizes every wrinkle I have and them finds new ones I didn't know I had!
I have the EXACT same issues as you with the Cover-girl foundation.. I thought it was something with my skin, so it’s comforting to know that it breaks apart and shows texture on others as well.
My 41yo skin really liked the Revlon one and I've gotten heaps of compliments when wearing it. I have done it - by itself to cover rosacea, set with translucent powder, set with a powder foundation, with setting spray, in the car, before a run, just with lipstick... it goes really well on my combo skin. It works with fingers, sponge and brush. Ymmv of course!
Glad to find a reviewer who has similar skin problems to mine. Textured skin and if i wear "long wear" makeup my skin starts producing oil in response to something being on it. T zone always gets gross and patchy.
I have normal skin. It is oily in my "T" zone. I wanted to love the e.l.f. camo cc cream so badly because everyone has been raving about it, but I hated it on my skin! It did exactly what it did to Taylor's and I loved it for all the same reasons Taylor did.
A lot of 'influencers' changed their minds about the Elf CC cream and don't love it anymore. A lot of them describe it as cakey, drying and poor longevity. I'm bummed too because I really wanted to try it given that I'm looking for a nice affordable CC cream which is available in Europe. 😔
@@angelrose7451 so curious as to what you might find! I lived in Europe a while ago and always wonder what I missed out on at the pharmacy (I'm from the US)
@@warmgreytenpercent A lot of brands (US) aren't available here or a very limited amount of their products. Elf, very limited, Wet 'N Wild only online and very limited, Milani extremely limited and only online. Revlon, Covergirl I think extremely limited and only online. Colourpop not available. No Target, no Walmart, no Ulta and no dollar store haha. So I'm always bummed to see great products online that are very hard or impossible for me to buy.
I love the Milk Skin Tint! Sephora had it on sale about a month ago so I got 3backups. I never set with a powder and it lasts all day ! Beautiful and fresh! ELF cc cream was a fail for my normal/dry skin. Upon initial application, looked great but after 2-3 hrs it looked cakey and majorly accentuates texture.
My favourite foundation right now is the L’Oréal Age Perfect creamy powder foundation. I have combo skin with fine lines and large pores. It makes my skin look so beautiful. I love that it needs no setting with powder or spray, and the compact has a great little sponge and mirror which is great for throwing in your bag for touch ups if you need.
I enjoyed this style of review! You could even go down to three in 1 reviews. Maybe one drugstore, one mid-tier, one high end, compare and contrast? Also that magenta/reddish eyeshadow looks AMAZING on you, really makes your eyes pop, I could not stop staring!
6:02 I have oily skin and used this covergirl foundation, I used to wear this everyday for 3 or so years. It's okay on my skin. At the end of the day, which would be from morning to afternoon, it looks oily and separated. The coverage is great. I'd say it probably lasts half the day or so? It's transfer proof as in I can lay down and it doesn't transfer to my pillow sheets.
I love this video. My skin is very similar to yours and I can not stand the cover girl foundation. Like you stated, at first the foundation looks amazing, but quickly it separates, melts off and look hideous. I love this format of videos as well ❤
I have oily skin and the Revlon Light Cover works like a dream for me. I've never had any foundation keep my oils at bay so well. I can't imagine it working for dry or normal skin at all!
OH! I'm so happy that someone else had the EXACT same experience w/the CoverGirl one that I did. I wanted to love it, because there was an ACTUAL shade match for me(NEVER happens w/CoverGirl because all their fair/light shades are wayyyy too pink)... but it just didn't work out. Also, the new Catrice one..I wanted to love that one SO much!! Again, I was excited to have a shade match and it's lovely when you first put it on. Sadly, I couldn't get it to not do the weird orage peel thing on my cheeks by the end of the day.
Enjoy the multiple reviews!! I pulled out my mac face and body the other day just to wear around the house. I haven't been brave enough to wear with a mask. Wow is it the most gorgeous foundation I own. I didn't know they made more shades! Gonna look that up now! I hateddddd ELF CC. I bought two shades bc I was so excited. Im oily skin. It looks okay??? When I apply. But I think I wanted to like it so I kept lying to myself. Once I started being honest with myself, I was like no, this doesn't do me justice. It is makeup-y, and reminds me the bad shots of your covergirl ones. It just wasn't good. I also tried it with different primers, setting sprays and alone. Thank you for your hard work as always💜
Loved this format where you give substantial reviews of multiple foundations. It was thorough and gives us some great options all at once to choose from. Yay!
I have dry-normal acne prone skin with scars and hyper pigmentation. I feel the exact same about the elf camo cc cream....I looove it when it is first on but it does NOT LAST. How your skin looked with the revlon “tint” foundation is how mine looks within less than 2 hrs. Most foundations don’t last long on me (usually 5-6hrs) but less than two hours is still pretty bad. I’m hoping to snag the new catrice foundation this weekend. Love you and your videos🖤
Was going to try a few of these... glad I didn't pick them up and watched your video 💕 you literally are the only person I take foundation recs from! Much love sent your way, hope you are doing a little better!
Love these videos! And I trust your opinion 100% thank you for your hard work! Also will you please review the NEW Teint Idole ultra Wear STICK foundation from Lancôme? 💛
Wow, this is an older one, but just perfect for me, right now, bc I'm thinking of the Catrice.--- thinking now to search for your latest reviews, Didn't know you did foundation roundups, or 5 in 1, etc. Good one!!!😎
This video concept was really neat! I enjoyed listening to a run down on multiple items! I really appreciate that you try a wide variety of foundation launches. I feel like that is much better for your day to day and less stress of full day wear tests Taylor ❤️ Love ya!
This is a brilliant format. It has all the info we need (application, wear, longevity, finish, etc) to make a choice as to which one, if any, to purchase. It always amazes me how different foundations are but, for some reason, I thought BB Creams & light coverage creams would be more uniform. Well I was very wrong! Great vid Taylor, thank you, 💗💗🌸🌸💗💗
I have the cover girl foundation and love it! I use the elf mint primer, the tarte pore filling primer for my larger pore areas and apply with a sponge and set with my air spun powder. I went on a 13 mile hike this weekend in 75° heat with humidity and I was sweating! Applied at 7am and when I got home around 8pm it had worn off a little but evenly and didn’t look bad at all! I was super impressed. I have combo-normal skin with an oily t zone after a few hours. I was surprised to hear it didn’t wear well on you!
Your videos are so helpful with foundations! Especially since I've had my own struggles myself with break outs and getting my skin back to normal! If your off accutane, I'd highly recommend dermaplaning! I did it myself, and it was a huge life savor for improving skin texture along with other great benefits! I swear by it!!!
Love your eye makeup! 💜🌼 I prefer the regular foundation Friday videos where you focus on one foundation but I definitely enjoyed this style. You explained well and you were concise. A good way to get out a lot of information especially when you are trying out more than 1 foundation/products in a short period. Great content! 💜
I have combo-oily skin and the Catrice Foundation looks amazing on me and lasts all day, I just set it really well and I have no issues the Cover Girl one is ok, it lasts for maybe 6-8 hours but it’s not my fave CG foundation. The Elf CC cream is amazing and I love it so much. Honestly the Elf & Catrice are my fave outta the three.💜💜 Can’t wait to see how the Mac face & body foundation works.
Love the video. My skin tends to be a little dry. I used the Covergirl with primer and wasn't very impressed. Then I applied it over my Neutrogena Hydro Boost with no primer and it lasted so much longer. Actually it seems like all my foundations do better just using the Hydro Boost.
I love your reviews! I’m 67, so obviously way older 😂 I do find your videos very informative! Hi Taylor, wow the mod ren palette. You make me want to take mine out now! The only foundation I have that you used, is the Elf Camo CC Cream. I think it looks good on me. I appreciate that you don’t just give us first impressions. You try out products for a long time and use them in different ways to see how they best apply and wear. 💙
I appreciate that you test so many products. You have never led me wrong on a makeup (and also non-makeup) purchase. 🖤
I like this style of foundation fridays with multiple foundation reviews in 1!
Taylor is our true angel of foundations reviews. 🤍
Agreed, she has focused on a challenge with skin, and I can relate! Her focus and commitment is for any person who wears foundation to educate themselves with her experiences and adapt to products that fit them. Keep pushing Taylor--YOU BRING HUGE VALUE in your content ❤️🌈😊
That Catrice foundation is my go to as the same concealer is!
Wishing you a good pain day Taylor! 🥄
I see the spoon you put. I have dysautonomia and they call us spoonies cause we measure our energy out by spoons 🥄. Is that what she has or is that a system used by people with other types of chronic illnesses? I’m assuming you know cause she told you guys so I hope I’m not out of line for asking...
@@MelSizzle that is a system used for many chronic illnesses. Taylor has suffered from severe migraines for years and discussed it in a few videos
I’d love to see a video of your favorite products for a no makeup look!! Like the best skin tints/tinted moisturizers, skin-like concealers, liquid blush and highlighters, etc. Anything you’d use on a minimal makeup day to give your skin a little extra boost 😊
The shades on your eyes are mesmerizing - I would look like I'd been crying for days but you look like a dream!!
Thank you for taking the time to thoroughly evaluate each of these products, Taylor. I am super fair and want minimalistic coverage. I want the expensive stuff but the budget says “nah…”
You are helping me shop for the best match for me.
I love this 5 in 1! I love that you had a ton of pictures from you wearing them not just talking about them! I literally only trust you for foundations!
Taylor giving the people what they want 👏🏻👏🏻❤️
THIS IS AMAZING!!! I take always your opinions on foundations since I’m so fair and dry skinned too. This gives me so many different ideas ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you Taylor for being honest about the elf cc cream! Every influencer has raved about it, and I thought it looked awful on my skin. I tried it for 6 months until I finally gave up. I was so hoping you would say exactly what you did.
I’m taking my bath searching for a good video and up pops up my girl! 🥳can’t wait to watch!🙌🏻❤️
I am buying zero makeup lately because lockdown you know and I am tattoo artist so..not able to work BUT I am still watching because I love your foundation recommendations Taylor xD tysm for this video, take care :D
I have my final year exam tomorrow and it is 12 am right now but i think i can take a break to watch my fav youtuber and relax for a while❤😘
Congrats!! That’s such a great accomplishment ❤️
Finally she reviewed the Elf Camo Cc cream I was waiting for her review for so long. I’m not gonna buy it if Taylor doesnt like it
Every other RUclipsr has LOVED it! I bought it and absolutely ADORE it!!! I use it almost every day!
@@andreabeeler5448 I’m not sure on very textured skin though, like every youtubers love the Elf hydrating camo concealer and when I tried it I think it’s good but not like amazing that everyone hyped up. I might like the CC cream to I myself even not sure how it’s gonna work on my skin until I actually tried it
@@parkjiyeon8390 I have very textured skin and it looks great on me! I have combo skin. Try it at some point if you can! You may hate it, but it’s TOTALLY worth trying it at least! I think it’s beautiful! And with the ELF cooling mint primer it works great! I have a few dry areas that are noticeable, but if I moisturize well it can still look good!
@@andreabeeler5448 Yeah I’ve been dying to try it too. I was about to order it from the Elf website to ship to Australia too because we dont have everything from Elf in Australia yet, I really really wanna try the Cc cream and mint primer
I'm 45, so fine lines and wrinkles, and dry skin, and I hated this.
Your work ethic and quality of videos is so admirable 💕 wishing you well
So happy to find you again Taylor.
I would love to see your review of the urban decay hydromaniac tinted hydrator (or whatever the name is)!
the milk makeup skin tint is my holy grail of base products...I live in Texas and it withstands heat, humidity, sweating, and looks so glowy and natural without looking oily. I hate the packaging though, I really dislike rubbing the little rolly ball thing all over my face lol
Wow!! Withstands the TEXAS heat!! Girl! I might need this for football season! Why does it have to be SO expensive?!
What skin type do you have?
I'm in Oklahoma. The milk tint wore beautifully on my mature dry skin. I love it. I agree the packaging is awful.
Really? that sounds great, I live in West Texas and you know we have that high 90 degrees already.
This video was awesome. You’re so comprehensive in your reviews. Thanks so much for going the extra mile for us makeup lovers!
Your lashes look so good in the elf cc cream clip
Yes I’d love to know which mascara Taylor was wearing in that clip
I’m loving this type of foundation Friday format! All the “Fs” lol. Fandamtastic Five Foundation Friday Format! 😂
Yes queen of foundation reviews ❤
I have the same exact experience with the Cover Girl foundation. Glad I’m not the only one since it seems every RUclipsr loves this!
You are such a beautiful person, inside and out.
I hope your pain days are getting farther and fewer I between.
One good thing about the sunshine skin tint is you can buy refills for it. The refills are cheaper but still expensive
Man I’ve missed foundation Friday. Glad to see this one.
Very much enjoying the new format. I bought Mac f&b N2 and I’m really enjoying it. I got it in the $10 off foundation sale!
I hope this kind of foundation Friday works better for you and is less stressful. I do really like this new format.
I just saw Jessica Braun mention she changed her mind about it. No longevity and caused breakouts.
Have I mentioned how happy I am you’re back 🥰 But I hope you took the time you needed, your health is for sure more important 😘
Can you please do an updated favorite bronzers & contour shades for fair skin please.
Thank you for being so transparent.
I love this video. My skin is very similar to yours and I can not stand the cover girl foundation. Like you stated, at first the foundation looks amazing, but quickly it separates, melts off and look hideous.
I love this format of videos as well ❤
This is exactly the kind of video I was hoping for! Fantastic reviews, thank you Taylor 😊 👍
I really like this type of review. It’s more informative and nice to have comparisons of multiples vs just one.
Thank you for your thorough videos on foundations. Truly appreciate an honest opinion.
Shoutout to you, Tay, for the dedication you put into this video! Superb reviews👌🏻
Love, love the Catrice!! The HD was my fave, but now this formula is my favorite!!
I love this foundation friday format! Love seeing multiple foundation reviews in one video, even if they’re lengthy videos. Please do more like this!
I love this format. I am so glad I halted on the elf camo cc cream, we have very similar foundation tastes. Now I’m interested in the Milk foundation!
I love with a passion FOUNDATION FRIDAY ❤️ im obsessed with foundation thanks to you taylor 😅😅
Taylor… you are so spot on with the Elf one. I’ve realized you are for sure the closest to my skin type on RUclips
Love the video. My skin tends to be a little dry. I used the Covergirl with primer and wasn't very impressed. Then I applied it over my Neutrogena Hydro Boost with no primer and it lasted so much longer. Actually it seems like all my foundations do better just using the Hydro Boost.
Love the multiple foundation review style! Also your eye makeup looks 🔥🔥🔥
I love your reviews! I’m 67, so obviously way older 😂 I do find your videos very informative! I totally agree with the Camo review, wanted to love it because I use It CC Cream & was hoping for a less expensive dupe. Talk about settling in the “fine” lines, no bueno 😢. Thank you for great videos & also love your food reviews since I live in Tukwila!
Beautiful eye looks. I love the creative color combinations you create. I have seen a few reviews you have posted on other videos. Would u consider doing tutorials on other eye shapes? Shadows is all about corrects placement. Your eyes are gorgeous. Please consider doing looks on other eye shapes/types/colors. Love your content. :)
👍🏻 to the multi format! Very informative!
Lol to the layered mascara “is irrelevant”. Love the plum eye look... it really makes your blue eyes pop!
U look so absolutely stunning in the closeup shots of u just wearing the foundations & concealers ❤❤ also really enjoyed this style foundation Friday!!!
the curly hair + cream silky shirt was such a good look on you omg
I have recently started using the cover girl outlast and I LOVE it. I don’t have any of the problems with it you mentioned, but I tend to have combination/oily skin.
Hi Taylor, wow the mod ren palette. You make me want to take mine out now! The only foundation I have that you used, is the Elf Camo CC Cream. I think it looks good on me. I apply usually with a brush and finish off going over the foundation with a sponge before I set it. I use my Morphe Contiuous Setting Spray. This is still my go to setting spray. I have many others including the Charlotte Tilbury Setting Spray. I like that as well but the Morphe is my fave. That’s about the only product of theirs I use. Thank you for your reviews on all the foundations. It was a fun video. 💚
