Thank you for taking the time to thoroughly evaluate each of these products, Taylor. I am super fair and want minimalistic coverage. I want the expensive stuff but the budget says “nah…” You are helping me shop for the best match for me.
I got you!!!! Best for skin tint as in barley there my skin looks beautiful no makeup look; glossier, chanel les beige water tint, Charlotte tilbury unisex healthy glow, makeup forever water tint, by terry in sunny flash, ilia serum skin tint, and milk makeup sunshine tint. For drug store or more affordable the nyx serum tint, I don’t really buy drug store unless someone needs a dupe so that’s the best one so far. For light coverage and I mean light where yet again you can see skin but still looks like makeup Mac face and body, Charlotte Tilbury light wonder, MyChelle in light medium are beautiful. The revlon one she kind of put down is also beautiful light coverage if you have normal, normal to dry, oily, combo skin. No I’m not a youtube but I don’t have unlimited resources to buy and test makeup nor do I have companies send me any for free. Therefore you can 100% trust these recommendations. I have normal skin, no texture, but have few fine lines. I’m 30, and take great care of my skin. I’d suggest looking into a really good skin care routine so you have a flawless base then you won’t need the coverage. Hope this helps.
I know your post is old but I'm with you on the light coverage in fact, I love **sheer. Love the Estee Lauder Sheer, Next I'm trying for Glossier, just going back and forth over the shade, want to go 1 darker than my complexion, but the rep says it might look too tan. Anyway she, Taylor, is a good guru, but Also check into another RUclips guru who does NOT want full coverage, someone who doesn't talk about "the coverage" the moment it goes on the skin. You know those ppl do have such good skin and are looking for something different than you are. Full coverage also makes ppl look old!!
I love this 5 in 1! I love that you had a ton of pictures from you wearing them not just talking about them! I literally only trust you for foundations!
6:02 I have oily skin and used this covergirl foundation, I used to wear this everyday for 3 or so years. It's okay on my skin. At the end of the day, which would be from morning to afternoon, it looks oily and separated. The coverage is great. I'd say it probably lasts half the day or so? It's transfer proof as in I can lay down and it doesn't transfer to my pillow sheets.
I see the spoon you put. I have dysautonomia and they call us spoonies cause we measure our energy out by spoons 🥄. Is that what she has or is that a system used by people with other types of chronic illnesses? I’m assuming you know cause she told you guys so I hope I’m not out of line for asking...
the milk makeup skin tint is my holy grail of base products...I live in Texas and it withstands heat, humidity, sweating, and looks so glowy and natural without looking oily. I hate the packaging though, I really dislike rubbing the little rolly ball thing all over my face lol
I have tried to ELF CC Cream and I don't fully love. I have mixed it with the Found BB Cream to give a little more moisture to it. That inky helps so much. Right now, my absolute go to is the Wet n Wild Tinted Hydrator. The shade Porcelain is a half shade to dark for me but my makeup is flawless and it wears beautifully on mh normal to dry skin.
I’d love to see a video of your favorite products for a no makeup look!! Like the best skin tints/tinted moisturizers, skin-like concealers, liquid blush and highlighters, etc. Anything you’d use on a minimal makeup day to give your skin a little extra boost 😊
Thank you Taylor for being honest about the elf cc cream! Every influencer has raved about it, and I thought it looked awful on my skin. I tried it for 6 months until I finally gave up. I was so hoping you would say exactly what you did.
I have the milk makeup one and it has been my go to, basically since it originally came out a few years ago. It mixed with the tarte maracuja creaseless concealer are my go-to daily products because the concealer has a similar feel/finish to the foundation and works well for increasing coverage/shade fixing. They also have the sunshine oil which has no tint that I like using as a primer for dryer, more high coverage foundations to keep them from clinging to my dry patches. Very versatile.
@@michadawn234 No problem! I hope you like it 😊 I will say, the concealer is definitely thicker and the foundation gets progressively more dewy throughout the day, but personally I’ve found that using a really finely milled, lightweight loose setting powder (I prefer the HD powders since heavy powders tend to make both products look cakey on me but I know they’re not for everyone) at the time of application works well for me and if it gets too dewy, you can always lightly blot it with a tissue or blotting sheet and it will look almost freshly applied based on my experience. Also, if you want to help prevent it from coming off your nose onto your mask, using a good setting spray typically prevents it and can help tone back the dew.
I agree with you on the ELF CC Cream. It's great coverage and looks great but it can get cakey as the day goes on. I mix it with the L'Oreal Freshwear and love using it that way.
My 41yo skin really liked the Revlon one and I've gotten heaps of compliments when wearing it. I have done it - by itself to cover rosacea, set with translucent powder, set with a powder foundation, with setting spray, in the car, before a run, just with lipstick... it goes really well on my combo skin. It works with fingers, sponge and brush. Ymmv of course!
totally agree about the elf cc cream. the coverage is great and i like wearing it on camera, but day to day i rarely pick it up cause irl... not a cute look on my dry skin. love this foundation friday format!
I have normal skin. It is oily in my "T" zone. I wanted to love the e.l.f. camo cc cream so badly because everyone has been raving about it, but I hated it on my skin! It did exactly what it did to Taylor's and I loved it for all the same reasons Taylor did.
A lot of 'influencers' changed their minds about the Elf CC cream and don't love it anymore. A lot of them describe it as cakey, drying and poor longevity. I'm bummed too because I really wanted to try it given that I'm looking for a nice affordable CC cream which is available in Europe. 😔
@@angelrose7451 so curious as to what you might find! I lived in Europe a while ago and always wonder what I missed out on at the pharmacy (I'm from the US)
@@warmgreytenpercent A lot of brands (US) aren't available here or a very limited amount of their products. Elf, very limited, Wet 'N Wild only online and very limited, Milani extremely limited and only online. Revlon, Covergirl I think extremely limited and only online. Colourpop not available. No Target, no Walmart, no Ulta and no dollar store haha. So I'm always bummed to see great products online that are very hard or impossible for me to buy.
I love the Milk Skin Tint! Sephora had it on sale about a month ago so I got 3backups. I never set with a powder and it lasts all day ! Beautiful and fresh! ELF cc cream was a fail for my normal/dry skin. Upon initial application, looked great but after 2-3 hrs it looked cakey and majorly accentuates texture.
So happy to find you again Taylor. I literally grown up watching your videos. You are beautiful inside and out, I hope you are in good health as well 🙏❤

I think it’s beautiful! And with the ELF cooling mint primer it works great! I have a few dry areas that are noticeable, but if I moisturize well it can still look good!
@@andreabeeler5448 Yeah I’ve been dying to try it too. I was about to order it from the Elf website to ship to Australia too because we dont have everything from Elf in Australia yet, I really really wanna try the Cc cream and mint primer
I have the EXACT same issues as you with the Cover-girl foundation.. I thought it was something with my skin, so it’s comforting to know that it breaks apart and shows texture on others as well.
My favourite foundation right now is the L’Oréal Age Perfect creamy powder foundation. I have combo skin with fine lines and large pores. It makes my skin look so beautiful. I love that it needs no setting with powder or spray, and the compact has a great little sponge and mirror which is great for throwing in your bag for touch ups if you need.
OH! I'm so happy that someone else had the EXACT same experience w/the CoverGirl one that I did. I wanted to love it, because there was an ACTUAL shade match for me(NEVER happens w/CoverGirl because all their fair/light shades are wayyyy too pink)... but it just didn't work out. Also, the new Catrice one..I wanted to love that one SO much!! Again, I was excited to have a shade match and it's lovely when you first put it on. Sadly, I couldn't get it to not do the weird orage peel thing on my cheeks by the end of the day.
I have combo-oily skin and the Catrice Foundation looks amazing on me and lasts all day, I just set it really well and I have no issues the Cover Girl one is ok, it lasts for maybe 6-8 hours but it’s not my fave CG foundation. The Elf CC cream is amazing and I love it so much. Honestly the Elf & Catrice are my fave outta the three.💜💜 Can’t wait to see how the Mac face & body foundation works.
I have the cover girl foundation and love it! I use the elf mint primer, the tarte pore filling primer for my larger pore areas and apply with a sponge and set with my air spun powder. I went on a 13 mile hike this weekend in 75° heat with humidity and I was sweating! Applied at 7am and when I got home around 8pm it had worn off a little but evenly and didn’t look bad at all! I was super impressed. I have combo-normal skin with an oily t zone after a few hours. I was surprised to hear it didn’t wear well on you!
Loved this format where you give substantial reviews of multiple foundations. It was thorough and gives us some great options all at once to choose from. Yay!
@@Stephaniemickle lol it’s not technically a foundation nor is it over priced. It’s a refillable product meant to be better for the environment. It’s also reef safe ect. I understand you people just want the biggest bang for your buck regardless of how good it is. More environmentally friendly products will cost more as they should. When you don’t care about that and only about how much you save in dollars then sure you’ll think it’s expensive. You won’t even use a whole ounce of product before it expires unless you love the cakey clown look of makeup. It’s just sad.
Oh! I really liked this type of review, a few in one, with fully formed thoughts, possibly better than regular ff👀 and especially if this is easier to get filmed!
It’s actually a lot more work because of the long testing periods, different photos/videos, and trying to wear each one long enough 😂 but glad you liked it! I had fun making it.
I love the way that catrice foundation looks on ur skin!! It sucks that my Ulta doesn’t carry that brand 💔 it seems like they have a lot of good products
I got it and LOVE IT. I’m fair, dry, and have fine lines and deep lines in my forehead. I ordered mine on Amazon! My Ulta doesn’t carry anything Catrice in store. I’ve heard other influencers talk about them and I’m like how TF have I never seen this brand in my life?!? Anyway go for it! I think you’ll like it. It’s definitely more full than medium coverage and more satin, not matte like Taylor said. 😊
Your videos are so helpful with foundations! Especially since I've had my own struggles myself with break outs and getting my skin back to normal! If your off accutane, I'd highly recommend dermaplaning! I did it myself, and it was a huge life savor for improving skin texture along with other great benefits! I swear by it!!!
This video concept was really neat! I enjoyed listening to a run down on multiple items! I really appreciate that you try a wide variety of foundation launches. I feel like that is much better for your day to day and less stress of full day wear tests Taylor ❤️ Love ya!
I LOVED this Foundation Friday! Nice to get your thoughts on a variety of types of foundations all at once. As usual, your reviews are so thorough and thoughtful. ❤️
I was so excited to try the elf camo cc cream and when I finally did I got the same dryness but on my nose and I have never seen any foundation I’ve had do that so I was pretty disappointed. But it was definitely worth trying it.
I have dry-normal acne prone skin with scars and hyper pigmentation. I feel the exact same about the elf camo cc cream....I looove it when it is first on but it does NOT LAST. How your skin looked with the revlon “tint” foundation is how mine looks within less than 2 hrs. Most foundations don’t last long on me (usually 5-6hrs) but less than two hours is still pretty bad. I’m hoping to snag the new catrice foundation this weekend. Love you and your videos🖤
Im only 30 seconds in and already hit the like. I appreciate how thorough you are with different primers, different application methods, and testing over time! If you know of anyone who does the same for foundations for oily/combo skin, could you let us know?
I enjoyed this style of review! You could even go down to three in 1 reviews. Maybe one drugstore, one mid-tier, one high end, compare and contrast? Also that magenta/reddish eyeshadow looks AMAZING on you, really makes your eyes pop, I could not stop staring!
Yeah I have normal to oily(barely oily but I lean more that way then just plain normal) Elf camo... is so thick. It creases and it made me look greassssssy...
Love the 5 foundations in one! I had the same experience with the elf cc cream, wanted to love it but only wore it a few times because it looks so cakey on me. Absolutely love the catrice foundation, it’s one of my new favorites! Would love to see you review the new wet n wild tinted hydrator!!
thanks Taylor! i enjoy roundup reviews. It's great to get in depth reviews on specific products, but I love a good summary and meta-analysis so to speak. I have oily skin but i still love how you point out what you think the product may work for and not work for. I had a lot of cystic acne as a child resulting in permanent textured and large pored skin that is now dry and prone to break outs. So fabulous channel to get the scoop on what's great for textures and sensitive skin!
I have oily skin and the Revlon Light Cover works like a dream for me. I've never had any foundation keep my oils at bay so well. I can't imagine it working for dry or normal skin at all!
The covergirl foundation wears pretty well on me! I have dryish skin (I basically never get oily) but I don't have many actual dry patches and I'm acne prone so need some coverage. I usually wear it 9am-10pm by the time I take it off. It wears away how I would expect but doesn't separate or anything crazy!
Was going to try a few of these... glad I didn't pick them up and watched your video 💕 you literally are the only person I take foundation recs from! Much love sent your way, hope you are doing a little better!
I don't like the Elf cc cream by itself on my dryer, textured skin, but when i add a more glowy tinted moisturizer or serum foundation (mixing half and half on the back of my hand) i love the coverage, the longevity, and the look. I wear it that way often. I also like the new Wet and Wild tinted moisturizer.
I have recently started using the cover girl outlast and I LOVE it. I don’t have any of the problems with it you mentioned, but I tend to have combination/oily skin.
loved this format for foundation friday!! I really appreciate that you show how foundations cover redness and last/wear on bad migraine days, I spend a lot of time with a red face from a heating pad on my neck/face too so that info is really helpful for me! also just an fyi, the milk skin tint is actually refillable (refills are $32 rather than $42)!
LOVE this format! I often have questions about multiple foundations and watching a review on a singular product can be time heavy so a 5 in 1 is perfect 😊
Yay I love watching your foundation reviews, by far the best here! I really liked the ELF CC camo cream, mostly because it has skincare ingredients, mineral filters as an SPF and feels very light on my skin. I normally only use high end foundations and this is the first drug store one I have used so far. My skin is quite dry so I hate the super matte formulas and also fragrance as it sensitises my skin

Love the Estee Lauder Sheer,
Next I'm trying for Glossier, just going back and forth over the shade, want to go 1 darker than my complexion, but the rep says it might look too tan.
Yes!! please light and SHEER COVERAGE!! THANK you☮☺
I love this 5 in 1! I love that you had a ton of pictures from you wearing them not just talking about them! I literally only trust you for foundations!
THIS IS AMAZING!!! I take always your opinions on foundations since I’m so fair and dry skinned too. This gives me so many different ideas ❤️❤️❤️
This video was awesome. You’re so comprehensive in your reviews. Thanks so much for going the extra mile for us makeup lovers!
Wishing you a good pain day Taylor! 🥄
I see the spoon you put. I have dysautonomia and they call us spoonies cause we measure our energy out by spoons 🥄. Is that what she has or is that a system used by people with other types of chronic illnesses? I’m assuming you know cause she told you guys so I hope I’m not out of line for asking...
@@MelSizzle that is a system used for many chronic illnesses. Taylor has suffered from severe migraines for years and discussed it in a few videos
the milk makeup skin tint is my holy grail of base products...I live in Texas and it withstands heat, humidity, sweating, and looks so glowy and natural without looking oily. I hate the packaging though, I really dislike rubbing the little rolly ball thing all over my face lol
Wow!! Withstands the TEXAS heat!! Girl! I might need this for football season! Why does it have to be SO expensive?!
What skin type do you have?
I'm in Oklahoma. The milk tint wore beautifully on my mature dry skin. I love it. I agree the packaging is awful.
Really? that sounds great, I live in West Texas and you know we have that high 90 degrees already.
I would love to see your review of the urban decay hydromaniac tinted hydrator (or whatever the name is)!
That’s my favorite concealer, your comment makes me want to try the foundation! Also the oil. Thanks for the tip.
@@taylorprice509 I have the Kosas cloud powder in my cart right now. Thanks again, I think I will like it. I have dry mature skin.
I agree with you on the ELF CC Cream. It's great coverage and looks great but it can get cakey as the day goes on. I mix it with the L'Oreal Freshwear and love using it that way.
Your work ethic and quality of videos is so admirable 💕 wishing you well
My 41yo skin really liked the Revlon one and I've gotten heaps of compliments when wearing it. I have done it - by itself to cover rosacea, set with translucent powder, set with a powder foundation, with setting spray, in the car, before a run, just with lipstick... it goes really well on my combo skin. It works with fingers, sponge and brush. Ymmv of course!
Yes queen of foundation reviews ❤
totally agree about the elf cc cream. the coverage is great and i like wearing it on camera, but day to day i rarely pick it up cause irl... not a cute look on my dry skin. love this foundation friday format!
I have normal skin. It is oily in my "T" zone. I wanted to love the e.l.f. camo cc cream so badly because everyone has been raving about it, but I hated it on my skin! It did exactly what it did to Taylor's and I loved it for all the same reasons Taylor did.
I just saw Jessica Braun mention she changed her mind about it. No longevity and caused breakouts.
I love this foundation friday format! Love seeing multiple foundation reviews in one video, even if they’re lengthy videos. Please do more like this!
You are beautiful inside and out, I hope you are in good health as well 🙏❤
One good thing about the sunshine skin tint is you can buy refills for it. The refills are cheaper but still expensive
I am buying zero makeup lately because lockdown you know and I am tattoo artist so..not able to work BUT I am still watching because I love your foundation recommendations Taylor xD tysm for this video, take care :D
We need to have a conversation about how much product on these SPF foundations you would need to achieve the labeled SPF protection
That’s why you always wear an SPF underneath your makeup too :)
Well no one ever told me this ! Lol thank you for saving my almost 30 year old skin 😂😂😂
Exactly so there’s no point even mentioning the SPF
@@taylorwynn and over make up too! Don’t forget to reapply every 80 minutes. Spray sunscreens are great for this.
Finally she reviewed the Elf Camo Cc cream I was waiting for her review for so long. I’m not gonna buy it if Taylor doesnt like it
Every other RUclipsr has LOVED it! I bought it and absolutely ADORE it!!! I use it almost every day!
@@andreabeeler5448 I’m not sure on very textured skin though, like every youtubers love the Elf hydrating camo concealer and when I tried it I think it’s good but not like amazing that everyone hyped up. I might like the CC cream to I myself even not sure how it’s gonna work on my skin until I actually tried it
@@parkjiyeon8390 I have very textured skin and it looks great on me! I have combo skin. Try it at some point if you can! You may hate it, but it’s TOTALLY worth trying it at least!
I'm 45, so fine lines and wrinkles, and dry skin, and I hated this.
Your lashes look so good in the elf cc cream clip
Yes I’d love to know which mascara Taylor was wearing in that clip
This is exactly the kind of video I was hoping for! Fantastic reviews, thank you Taylor 😊 👍
I have the EXACT same issues as you with the Cover-girl foundation.. I thought it was something with my skin, so it’s comforting to know that it breaks apart and shows texture on others as well.
I have my final year exam tomorrow and it is 12 am right now but i think i can take a break to watch my fav youtuber and relax for a while❤😘
Congrats!! That’s such a great accomplishment ❤️
I’m taking my bath searching for a good video and up pops up my girl! 🥳can’t wait to watch!🙌🏻❤️
I have the same exact experience with the Cover Girl foundation. Glad I’m not the only one since it seems every RUclipsr loves this!
I love this format. I am so glad I halted on the elf camo cc cream, we have very similar foundation tastes. Now I’m interested in the Milk foundation!
Man I’ve missed foundation Friday. Glad to see this one.
Yay!
MAC just came out with a new face and body foundation! I would love it if you can review it
She did mention it has less coverage than the milk overpriced foundation 😂😂
@@Stephaniemickle lol it’s not technically a foundation nor is it over priced. It’s a refillable product meant to be better for the environment. It’s also reef safe ect. I understand you people just want the biggest bang for your buck regardless of how good it is. More environmentally friendly products will cost more as they should. When you don’t care about that and only about how much you save in dollars then sure you’ll think it’s expensive. You won’t even use a whole ounce of product before it expires unless you love the cakey clown look of makeup. It’s just sad.
@@Nick-ei8lt you went full savage.
I really like this type of review. It’s more informative and nice to have comparisons of multiples vs just one.
Shoutout to you, Tay, for the dedication you put into this video! Superb reviews👌🏻
Very much enjoying the new format. I bought Mac f&b N2 and I’m really enjoying it. I got it in the $10 off foundation sale!
Can you please do an updated favorite bronzers & contour shades for fair skin please.
You are such a beautiful person, inside and out.
I hope your pain days are getting farther and fewer I between.
Thank you for your thorough videos on foundations. Truly appreciate an honest opinion.
This video concept was really neat! I enjoyed listening to a run down on multiple items! I really appreciate that you try a wide variety of foundation launches. I feel like that is much better for your day to day and less stress of full day wear tests Taylor ❤️ Love ya!
I had a similar experience with the Elf, my skin is normal/dry. I now use a VERY thick moisturizer and primer and it looks good allday
I LOVED this Foundation Friday! Nice to get your thoughts on a variety of types of foundations all at once. As usual, your reviews are so thorough and thoughtful. ❤️
Taylor… you are so spot on with the Elf one. I’ve realized you are for sure the closest to my skin type on RUclips
Yeah I have normal to oily(barely oily but I lean more that way then just plain normal)
Elf camo... is so thick. It creases and it made me look greassssssy...
I seriously love and appreciate your reviews! Your real about them! ❤️
Taylor giving the people what they want 👏🏻👏🏻❤️
I hope this kind of foundation Friday works better for you and is less stressful. I do really like this new format.
I have oily skin and the Revlon Light Cover works like a dream for me. I've never had any foundation keep my oils at bay so well. I can't imagine it working for dry or normal skin at all!
Love this eye look on you! Really compliments your eye color🤩
I have used the CoverGirl and I like it. I put it on with my fingers and that's the best way I have found to use it. I have combo/oily skin.
Thank you for all of your hard work! I just adore your videos ❤️
Loving just having your videos randomly pop up in my feed. Always a happy surprise!
Love these kind of foundation videos. It’s more in depth. Thanks so much!!!!!
loved this format for foundation friday!!
Love the multiple foundation review style! Also your eye makeup looks 🔥🔥🔥
