The whole concert this piece is from was superb.
I like cedar more, but when I hear Alexandrа playing on the spruce .. her sound production makes the spruce sound especially gentle .. a good guitar in the hands of one of the best guitarists!

Never could have imagined that spruce can sound so deep, rich and engulfing. Something to aim at. Thank you for the inspiration!
Can be the microphone position and proximity too (in fact I'd put money that being the biggest reason it sounds so deep and rich). She has a good strong timbre.

both pieces are insanely technical
Ah, no they are not... They're written for German Lute so they transfer quite well to drop 6 'D' tuning. Insanely difficult is a LONG list of other works in the baroque repertoire, plus every other genre has 100s of examples of more technical music.
I think the expressions and posturing are more to do with intense listening rather than an attempt to vocalise or add words to something that is pure rhythm and melody.

Very good strong and consistent sound. I feel the bass notes are a little late to the beat from where they need to be... Like jazz, play ahead of the beat?
Also the dynamic phrasing for the bass part in section two needs more shape.
Soon she´ll be en par with Carles Trepat. Although he´s a few decades ahead, she´ll gain his looseness in a younger age
