I have never heard this lady before, but I have heard this piece many times and that was an outstanding performance of it. I suspect Puy-l'Eveque looks better in the summer.
Sensitive & quietly compelling interpretation of this modern classic of Villa-Lobos. Alexandra has immense promise, notwithstanding her achievement of technique & feeling already in her performances. Videography also charming in this, juxtaposed with Alexandra herself.
One of the better interpretations of this piece that I've heard, and (like most of us) I've heard many. Moody, yet not overly so. Not too 'dripping' nor too much schmaltz in the 'walk down' section. I really enjoyed this, Alexandra. Thank you.

@ não é questão de não ter acesso ao conhecimento. A maioria tem internet, portanto tem acesso, o que falta é o interesse. Se colocar alguma dessas obras pra um brasileiro qualquer dificilmente vai reconhecer, ou seja, dizer que já ouvi (não que conhece), principalmente com as pessoas mais jovens e eu acredito que seja por essa falta de interesse que isso tem sido esquecido entre os brasileiros, vão dando menos importância e isso vai se perdendo. Porém é óbvio que há sim muitos brasileiros que conhecem, reconhecem e inclusive apreciam essas obras!

I'd agree on Bream's version being the best rendition of the piece. He plays it just right. And yet Alexandra's video is very good in its atmospheric landscaping and sights of the old town.

In 2022, this prelude will completed a hundred years of existence. Here, in Brazil, we need to raise a musical movement for get musics that it joins the emocional quality and the complex arrangements again. However, I'm never will forget these musics that it rises our souls with the depth of compositions. And I repeat myself: Great performance!
