I keep my Typhur next to the stove, and use a silicone mat on top of the stove to rest the air fryer drawer on when I remove it. The mat keeps it from slipping and protects from scratches. It is seated very securely. If you aren't cooking anything on your stove, may as well use that space! Works great for me and sits level as well, because the front part/handle that keeps it from sitting level on the counter hangs over the edge of my stove top grate. (gas like yours..)
I bought a Typhur dome and I love it. I am able to make my breakfast all at once. I made hash brown party, couple of slices of bacon, three fried eggs all at once. Perfect. I have also put grilled chicken and hash brown patty in at once and done. I know that full chicken or cakes will not work. I do have two 6” round pans for pizza or brownies or maybe cakes and both will fit in at same time. They are not high. I would love to know if the item that helps grill steaks would work in this if some one would answer. It is very expensive and I put it in a year loan. Currently amazing is selling it for 100 less I don’t know about with this discount. I bought it before I saw this. This is an amazing video. I wish I would have seen it before I bought. I have tried two or three and just wasn’t happy with some feature or another. Thanks for making this. For me personally I love the Typhur but I did pay a lot the self cleaning is right up my alley. You still have to preheat with certain foods the Manuel tells you which ones. And I still turn food over half way although I am not sure you have to. I put aluminum foil on the bottom so that may stop some air flow. It helps keep it clean. Thanks again
@@itpromike you can hard boil or soft boil them. You put eggs in at 275 for around 15 minutes for hardboil. You can scramble or fry them as well. I did RUclips search’s on how to use an air fryer and followed their instructions. Also Typhur app has some suggestions for how to cook eggs as well. I hope that helps
Spanglish Asadero has an amazing Smokey Buffalo seasoning that’s not spicy at all. It’s my go to dry buffalo seasoning. I recommend giving it a go for the kiddos.
I'm not sure what's too big for a truck, but I'd probably calculate the size of the unit an the size of the pull out tray to figure out how much space you'd need for it. The Typhur is a 12" tray, so you'll need a minimum of 2 feet just to get the tray in and out of the unit.
Now that toxicity from air fryers is a thing - be nice to know which air fryers use teflon, ceramic, stainless, etc. Health is big part of decision and why we're buying air fryers to begin with.
Yes very good point its probably my main selling point considering i only really want to use stainless steel or ceramic but some ceramic has toxic binding agents as well.
From some research they are only toxic if being heated to a temperature no air fryer is capable of reaching, or if you use abrasive tools for cleaning or cooking that scratch off the coating.
Great comparison! Be careful when you purchase the Ninja Foodi. There are several variants of this air fryer and they all look similar with the dual basket and "Megazone" divider. The one they sell at Costso (Model AD600CO) has a dial on it to cycle through modes instead of the buttons. The aforementioned one from Costco tops out at 400°F which is good for cooking most things, but not so great for searing steak. You can cook a decent steak on it but having the hotter upper limit of the one reviewed in this video would certainly help when making steak. 🥩
Since they’re all just compact convection ovens the Typhur is way overpriced. And that grill grate doesn’t do any good since the heat element is on top of the food. I’d say the most important factors are the temperature range and the size and depth of the basket.

Thank you for the video
Typhur Dome also is the only one that does not use Teflon, but ceramic coating which is always better
I love your presentation and the thoroughness of your review, subscribed.
I can get the typhur for $300. Should I bite?
Could you please talk about the basket insert design. Some of yhe silicone tabs are not as sturdy as others and break easily.
Great video just what I was looking for air fryer and wings!!!right on man I suscribe and follow you awesome video 🇺🇸🇺🇸👍👍
Thanks for watching!

How do you cook eggs in it??

If it ain’t spicy, it ain’t buffalo.
Thinking of buying the Typhur to put on my semi truck but I’m wondering if it would be too big for a truck

The discount code for the Typhur does not work
Ninja Combi is 14 in 1 air fryer and multi-cooker.. I just bought one 2 weeks ago. It's the best of 2023 and will be the best of 2024.

at least I know ninja and typhur use ceramic coating
@@yewang657Ninja is kinda false advertising. Their website lists all air fryers as using PTFE.

I've heard that the ceramic coating that's some use is not the same as actual ceramic material and it's still toxic.

Im only here for the air fryers 😅
LOL kids who rarely agree
Gen X’ers would have to pick their teeth up off the floor for even suggesting they don’t want to eat what was made. 😂
