Correction at when I am talking about the Maserati Modena 9:35: The two Modena's in the video are 2022's and not 2020 as I mentioned.
Enterprise Alamo and National have been killing it lately! I just rented with Hertz last week and it was abysmal. Nice as always, thanks!

Sorry I didn't cover those in this update video. If you go back to the videos I uploaded over the past weekend one each for Enterprise, Alamo and National you should be able to see some of that. Keep in mind with the car shortages the isles for a particular size or SUV might not be stocked at any given time and cars may be going directly from the car wash to a customer if they are very busy.
Thanks for asking though I think what I'll do in future videos is start with the Emerald Isle and Executive isle and later in the video cover some of the specific isles. As it doesn't take much longer to do that while I'm there. The resulting video will be longer but subscribers only need to watch what they are interested in :)

I have a recent Avis update from MIA airport however my filming was cut short when the manager was complaining about it. I can give it another try. Do you know how the rows or aisles work at Avis and the different lettering and preferred sections? Do they mostly operating the rows as reserve and assign you something when you arrive? @@CarRentalGuy No, unfortunately not. Last time I was there they parked a Surburban next to a Spark. I don't know if they have a real system. I just thought there might be more bigger SUVs in the other rows. As far as I've seen most of them were jammed in the return section.

hi sir, thanks for your vidéos i have a question, i wanna rent a MUSTANG GT in LAX los angeles, how can i be sure to have the GT and not the ecoboost? because if i rent in online rightnow they just propose me mustangs covertible or similar, if i choose this one i can choose at the place beetween ecoboost and GT ? or if i arrived there with ma mustang covertible or similar reservation they will ask me to pay how much more for having the GT version, thanks a lot bro maybe you will help me to realise my dream ! ps: i realy like yours videos
Great question and this is something I run into a lot as I am always trying to rent these American V8 two door sports cars when I travel. What you need to book is the "American Muscle Car" class which currently includes a Ford Mustang GT 5.0L V8, Chevy Camaro SS V8 or a Dodge Challenger Hemi V8. I just checked and this class is showing up for Enterprise in June if you book a week. National and Alamo are basically the same company and just different brands so you can check with them also to see if they have lower rates on the same class.
Alternatively you can book this class as well with Hertz for a V8 two door coupe (Mustang, Camaro, Challenger) and with Hertz you can also book a convertible V8 class.
If you book anything else you can always ask about upgrading but that only works if they have something available to upgrade to when you show up.

I was on the website and saw the American Muscle category, but when you click on the part to do the reservation, it just shows all the car categories but the American Muscle category. Do you need to be an Emerald member and log in with the user ID for the American Muscle car category appear so you can do the reservation? What were the steps that you did to rent in the American Muscle Car category? Thanks. George

Great question. I tried to answer some of these questions in the video below but I really should make another one to expand on some other classes. I haven't seen many Rogue's lately which is maybe why they aren't on the list anymore. (Not to be confused with the Rogue Sport which is actually called the Qashqai in many other countries including Canada and is smaller than the Rogue).

Hi nice videos very informative, but I hardly saw any full size Suv in either National, Alamo and Enterprise. I'm picking up one full size suv in June and they say it should be new Tahoe but I don't see single one in your videos. Can you please confirm thanks. I'm picking up from Alamo. By the way you recommend Alamo , Enterprise or National to book full size suv ?
No worries they have lots of full size SUVs I just didn't cover them in this particular video. Have a look at my previous video I've linked here around 7 minutes and 15 seconds in there is a fairly new Chevy Suburban with 3,000 miles that I take a quick look at. Oh I forgot to answer your second question. Go with any of Alamo, Enterprise or National as they are all the same company just different brands and share the same fleet. If all are roughly the same price I would lean towards National myself as the loyalty program is a bit better and less of a chance you might have to wait to talk to someone at pickup. If you already Alamo booked go ahead with that again it's all the same fleet and Alamo often has lower rates as it's more of their leisure brand where National is more geared towards business travellers.
