The 4 commissioners also had a right to complain because they took an oath of office. Let us not take it for granted or normal practice for one to carry the Holy Bible and take an oath that he or she will be faithful in discharging the duties assigned to and then fail to speak the truth in case there is a problem. Why do we allow our taxes to be misused for paying the commissioners and other staff huge salaries and end up in not doing the right thing. Very discouraged. I also suggest that we do away with all the IEBC staff including the commissioners and invest in the right technology where voting is done online like the USA voting system. If we all trust the Mpesa, huduma centre and other systems used by banks for transacting money, why not voting? I know other critics are going to challenge this but that is where we are heading to avoid all these theatrics and loss of lives in the name of defending my man/woman. The economy has suffered a lot in this few voting and tallying days. Together we shall overcome this division created during the electioneering period.
