Soviet Fire Extinguisher to Vintage mood lamp

Transforming a discarded Soviet fire extinguisher into a vintage industrial mood light - that's the journey I took in this project. Unearthed from a scrap metal pile, this relic had seen better days with rusted-out holes and from its age and neglect it was damaged. But with a creative spark, I decided to turn it into a unique Christmas gift for my friend's man cave.
Armed with an angle grinder, I carefully made cuts into the extinguisher, allowing light to escape and creating a moody ambiance. To ensure that tube light will not dangle around, I 3D printed a holder for the tube light. Additionally, I crafted an electrical box to house all the necessary connections and a switch for easy control.
The end result is a one-of-a-kind lamp that I believe will make the perfect accessory for his man cave.
