ALL ABOARD these meter gauge passenger trains as we step back into time. Along a single track mainline over 1,700 kilometers long. One can still see many hundreds of gate-shacks and small guard-shacks along the street grade crossings where gatemen and gatewomen stand guard just like they did over 70 years ago & before in North America. Old-School train signals and flag signals are in active use. The trains are pulled by powerful diesel-electric locomotives made in Vietnam, China, the USSR, India and Eastern Europe. It's always an adventure aboard Vietnam Railways and you're sure to have fun as well. Enjoy the view from the train!
