So how many volts is there supposed to be at the relay terminal supplied by fuse 23 in dash? I get 0.5V like a signal V. Others are 12V. If bypassing relay doesn’t engage clutch what’s the next step? Pressure switches? Gauges show system filled correctly and already ‘adjusted’ clutch gap. Your videos are great! Speak clearly, video’s clear, & well explained. Thanks
Okay, so I have a F350 6.0 and I installed an e-fan from flex-a-lite. According to their instructions, they suggest that I connect their e-fan to the AC clutch by way of a piggyback splice that they provide in their kit. That being said, I find that it is difficult to piggyback anything on the wiring harness to the clutch itself plus I a worried about clearance issues from the serpentine belts. So instead, I was hoping to run a wire and tap to the fuse under the dash (I assume the 20 amp circuit to the cooling fan you point out) or adding a tap to the 10 amp fuse in the fuse box in the engine bay (the one you say feeds the AC relay). But you say the 10 amp adds constant power to the relay. I assume this is KEY ON power and I assume constant power when the AC is turned on though from the cab using the switches, correct? If so, I can just tap that 10 amp fuse and feed a line to the e-fans; they should turn on when I activate the AC in the cab. Does that sound right?
I have a 2005 f550 super duty 6.0 towtruck and I don’t know what’s wrong with the Ac, someone told me it was the compressor I changed the compressor it worked for a little then I drove into a pothole and it turned off, now it pops the fuse out, changed the fuse but same problem. Is there anything you can recommend what you think is wrong ?
@@MrThree1zero there was a burnt wire and after that was changed it started running then the evaporator wasn’t holding the Freon (I think that’s what it’s called) and after that was fixed the ac blows cold and hasn’t turned off since
Hey by chance I for an f350 6.0 you would now what inputs the pcm need to engage the clutch when cold ac works fine I drive and low side pressure build to 300 psi and high side is normal 150 200
One request.... DO MORE!!! you just saved me $800.
Can’t wait till tomorrow to check. Awesome video bud.
Thank you loved the information and how you explained it
Man this is exactly what’s going on with mine. I do have electric fans on my truck. The ac clutch won’t kick on. The fuses are good.
Thanks a lot! This was extremely helpful!
Great video thank you.

I can get mine to kick on with the wire thing you said. Otherwise it will not kick on at all. Fuses are all good

Hi what would cause my ac clutch to engage and disengage even though I have the ac system turn to off position. Thanks
Ac was blowing ice cold, then I used the heater one time recently and now it is not cold at all
2007 f-350 6.0 power stroke
Any suggestions ?
The blend door could have gotten stuck in the hot position. You can try changing the temp from hot to cold rapidly to see if it will change anything.

Same issue here, did you figure it out??

@@Auntylei 10-4. I'll have to check my wires. Was a it a wire running to the compressor directly?
Were should i look for the wire?
