Awesome video. I have been grumpy for going on two winters now as frozen man in my 06’ f350 6.0 powerstroke. Have replaced climate control module, checked all the fuses, replaced the resistor and fan has come on intermittently. Finally tapped the blower motor with a wrench and it’s back. Blendor actuator is still stuck on defrost but if it’s going to be on one setting I’ll take defrost. Awesome video. Can’t thank you enough. Diagnostics for simpletons, just what I need! What a simple solution for a simple problem when you know what you’re doing.
You saved my butt this morning! 10 inches of snow on the ground and the blower wouldn’t come on. Tapped the relay you suggested, and Like magic blower motor on! You rock dude. I am liking and subscribing. Hope your channels doing great. You deserve it.
I am definitely old school 😅 Finding out that RUclips is a wonderful tool just lately. Wifes 05 f350 a/c quit. I followed your instructions, fuse ok, relay ok, took a baby ball peen to the motor tappity tap, and success!! Saved me the $850 the local mechanic was asking 😂😂
Your step by step walk through was perfectly simplified and I followed each step that you gave example to and for me the blower motor was stuck and upon tapping it, "BINGO" and she's blowing good again. Thanks for your time and post.
Thankyou for the help , you were right i checked all the fuses which were fine. got the hammer out 2 taps on the blower housing and on it went .you saved me a lot off money....👍👍👍👍
Definently useful info had no power to blower a mechanic wanted to charge me $300 to check it Turns out it was a bad contact connection to the blower 👍🙏You are Awesome
I appreciate the information. I'm working on a 2006 diesel right now. Any chance you could provide insight on why the blower relay fuse keeps blowing? I have replaced all of it at this point. I turn on the AC and get air for about 3 seconds then the passenger compartment fuse 24 blows. Any info would be appreciated.
I like the way you explained things. Even though I know all of what ypu said. The location of the fues is what I was after. And actually i was looking at the blend door actuator and i ultimately watched because the way ypu explained it I figured it's worth listening as you blatantly know what you're talking about. Well explained.
Thanks, Helped me out a lot. Was able to figure out problem in 5 minutes after watching your video. Simple and straight to the point. 2005 f450 xl gas is setup exactly the same.
Thanks for the info. My brothers 2000 f250 7.3 diesel has the problem of the blower motor NOT turning off with the ignition switch.( I think he said his blinkers still worked with the ignition switch off, but the radio didn't stay on). It's an intermittent problem that comes and goes. He put a new blower relay in it but the problem came back next day. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks
I have a question about 2006 f350 With a 6.0 a/c issue, it works really well when it’s at idle stand still but once you start driving to a normal speed it will start blowing hot air. Any tips on what I should look for.
do you know what the wiring colors are for the blower resistor plug I bought an aftermarket plug unfortunately the original one was completely shattered so I have no way of telling which one went to which plug two on top and then two on top of each other at the bottom you can let me know that'd be awesome
I have an 02 F250 7.3 diesel and my #28 10 amp fuse keeps blowing when i turn the control knobs.. I'm trying to get the heat working correctly in the truck before it gets cold out cuz we do snow plowing with this truck
My problem is a little different my blower motor will not shut off unless I turn off manually. Even when I do that it still drawn at the battery. I have to disconnect both batteries at night
I have a 06 f250. Replaced blower motor and resistor. Replaced 40 amp fuse. Fan speeds work great till I put it in gear then it blows the fuse. Any suggestions? Thanks
Hi Sr l have a 1999 Dodge 2500 Cummins diesel, The AC has a problem ( when I turn it on cold, it works for 20 seconds and then it flip by itself to HoT, I already checked all the fuses and the are good, compressor is good, and freon is good) any suggestions for me? I would really appreciate it...thank you...
My issue is my blower will blow without the key even in the ignition. I can turn the fan switch and turn it off, works on all 4 speeds but no key needed to turn it on. I can't find anything as far as troubleshooting this issue. Fuse inside is good, relay in pwr dist box is good. I'm at a loss. Nothing else has power without the key, not the radio, windows, nothing. Losing my mind here. Mine is a 2000 F250 w/V10

Thanks Dude. I just went outside to work on my 06 Mustang with no air. Did the tap and jiggle thing, boom, air!
Thankyou for the help , you were right i checked all the fuses which were fine. got the hammer out 2 taps on the blower housing and on it went .you saved me a lot off money....👍👍👍👍
Best video on this style HVAC system by far - absolutely perfect.
Definently useful info had no power to blower a mechanic wanted to charge me $300 to check it Turns out it was a bad contact connection to the blower 👍🙏You are Awesome
Thanks so much for the very detailed video!! Turned out my relay was bad!!

Thank you for the awesome video. You helped fix my problem. Thanks for taking the time to do it.
Ha! Tapped on the blower motor with a hammer and it came right on! Thank you!
I like the way you explained things.

Best video on this topic I have found thank you so much I finally have heat in my 07 f350 6.0
That was a freaking awesome video! Thank you so much for doing it. I am a subscriber! Wow! Direct and to the point. You are my new diesel tech ron!
The percussive maintenance did the trick actually
Everything I needed to hear
Thank you very much!!!!! Not every model has another junction box on the firewall, some models have all fuses and relays under steering wheel.
Great video. Straight to the point. Thanks

You’re a lifesaver 🎉
great video simple to the point without any extra talk like a lot of these other idiots trying to teach on youtube.

Thanks! I trouble shooted the fuses/relays only to end up smacking the blower motor. Turned back on.
EXCELLENT! Plan on replacing that blower motor eventually
Awesome to the point

My heat and ac only really kick in and blast when I’m on the gas any reason for that? Would it be the ground wire connection to the blower motor?
What should I check if my ac stops blowing intermittently.. most of the time it work just recently starting doing this..
Excellent video.

Hi my friend I got a 2005 f350 diesel and my ac blower is stuck on max speed defrost and the ac controls aren’t turning it off
Any suggestions? Thanks
Blower motor resistor
Mines doing the exact same thing, same year and everything

I replaced f250 diesel.. the blower and resistor but still does not blow out hard. It's only blows on a 1... ideas?
Sounds like the knob itself
No fuse box under the hood no fuse box under the hood
