I’ve now made a newer edition of this video, where I try out some suggestions made in the comments below. Check it out here: ruclips.net/video/msD30jwbXKE/видео.html
Try some SUMAC.. (£2-£3) it’s what Turkish people use in their salads along with salt and lemon juice and a splash ov E/V olive oil .. do a small batch like this to see if you like it 👍😉.

Nice, cheers will do
Hi Do you know another Turkish dish that needs sumac?
@@Girlilla you can use it in vegetable dishes also you can add it on raw onion, it really goes well with any kind of meat
Real lemon juice would help wilt the cabbage and softened it for a nicer texture.
what is the secret ingredient plz?
balsamic vinegar
Going to have to try this out. I haven't had cabbage in a good while.
Well worth it, and quicker than sauerkraut to make 😀
I've never made sauerkraut. It's one I've thought about. But haven't found someone I can follow along with.
Could you grate the cabbage? I don’t have a shredder
You could give it a go, on the biggest hole setting. I’ve not tried it but worth a go!!
nice
Cheers, thanks
Ao you put sugar and balsamic vinegar? Thats it?
I put salt and lemon juice in and then a bit of sugar and balsamic if the cabbage is older.
@@dadskillz thank you!
