lol the reason I'm subscribed and I enjoy DEHH videos are because of the true opinions each of the members provide whether i agree with what they're saying or not. It's very interesting to see how someone may think about an album opposed to what you think about it. How can people not expect mixed reactions in a review?
I really enjoy DEHH as a platform for criticism (criticism as in evaluating the merits and faults of an artistic practice). I think it's the group aspect that sets it apart from other reviewers because it allows for multiple opinions, and often those opinions are questioned by other members which opens the discussion even more. I actually think it's an important platform because not only is it about critiquing hip hop albums but contemporary hip hop culture. The only album that I wished they covered is probably Mykki Blanco's album that dropped this year in Sep I think.

But I think with music review channels they will get more hate and troll comments because your expressing opinions on something that affects so many people in so many different ways so your bound to upset someone because of your opinion. I think its just based on whether people understand that others can have their own opinions its just up to them whether the will respect it or take it personally. If every hip hop list or most hip hop heads have biggie or pac at the top spot, what is the point of other MCs or artists trying to be the best in hip hop if they apparently can never be compared to biggie or pac? I feel that someone at some point in time could be just as good but people are uncomfortable bringing that to the table when comparing to the greats and it can potentially stifle growth and motivation for that artist.
