I just stumbled upon this and immediately ordered two blu-rays from your site as a gift to a train aficionado without decent Internet connection. I hope they're region free and not limited to Europe.
The biggest problem here is not if it's stereo or mono, but the lack of bass and distortion is way to high, to get that "being there feeling". But the image quality was quite nice - so smooth and steady when going at high speed (even if you have the camera on a mount or tripod vibrations may sometimes be an issue).
Wow. Good video! would like to see the full as theres no in cab videos on hs1. Plus a shot of eurostar run-by inside the channel tunnel! Would not want to be around that going 100mph through there! But great shot none the less.
If Eurostar ever kindly gave us permission to make another film, it would be much more likely to be from routes south of Paris. Amsterdam from Brussels would be the only new section for us and not viable.
