Hello and welcome back to another video, where today I will be travelling on-board a Class 374 'Eurostar e320', part of the Siemens Velaro family of high-speed trains, from Paris Gare du Nord to London St Pancras, running beneath the English Channel in the world famous Channel Tunnel!
I'm in Standard Class for this ride, so this is what to expect when travelling with the international railway company.
Enjoy the video. :)

I made that trip in 2013 ..my first time travelling from Australia …my family is from the UK in 1826 and this was my first trip “ home “ ..the thrill I felt as we exited the tunnel into the UK will never leave me …I felt a strange feeling of calmness the trip was so interesting seeing both French and UK countryside and experiencing high speed rail travel was amazing ..I’d love to repeat it one day but who knows …
What a great feeling being “home” finally. Welcome back 😊

Haha, thanks! I try to when I have some spare time. 😎
@@SuperalbsTravels Then answer my question : How come there is not one single video about Spain? We have the largest high speed network in Europe . Third in the world (same with highways) You do not like Spain, I get it, we are not cool. I get it... but you have to give credit where credit is due.
@@feynman6625 Oh dear. Having a bad hair day?
I think the Channel Tunnel has a lot of unused potential. The London - Paris connection is excellent (as well as some other destinations in France, Belgium, and the Netherlands) but connections to the rest of Europe are often horrible, with long transfer times between different stations in Paris. Direct overnight services like London - Berlin would be key to compete with flying.
The Eurostar even lost some of it's potential because of Brexit, I believe.
Brexit has made eurostar more expensive as the early departure trains have to travel half empty because of passport stamping...
The issue is rolling stock. The Channel Tunnel has very specific safety requirements for the trains and the traditional sleeper carriages don`t meet those. Custom build a Velaro with sleeping berths for example would be insanely expensive and eveywhere else the loco + carriages is a better solution for night trains as it is more flexible. (Demand tend to be seasonal.) Add other issues like passport control, etc. I don`t think we will see too many new direct destinations from London on the continent so focus should be improving the connections. For example some morning Eurostar trains could go to Gare du Lyon via CDG and Disnaleynad instead of Gare du Nord, this would improve connections towards the rest of France. In the evening same for the sleeper trains towards Switzerland, Spain. Amsterdam or Brussel should be a Hub for night trains towards Germany and so on with Eurostar services timed to connect to these.
@@FrankyLonsome ICEs traveling in Germany are allowed to go through the channel tunnel and a cologne-London line was supposed to be put in place, but colognes station just doesn't have a way to allow passport controls
Class, 374 Eurostar is the best😂🎉😮😅😂❤😊
Before COVID, I travelled to and from London to Paris on the Eurostar, and it was one of the best experiences I have ever had. Much better than flying by plane for sure!
Sounds fun! I certainly agree it is better. :)
Awesome 👍
👌
Glad to know in details. I have also a mind to travel by EUROSTAR from paris to London in stead of flying by aeroplane, after CODID Pandemic is completely over.
I agree.Me too.The best way for Paris London connection
I really did enjoy the journey. Amazing to think it only takes two and a half hours to go from Paris to London, and under the water without
getting wet. A bit like an egg in a duck! I appreciated your educational commentary as well. You weren't yelling at us like some commentators
tend to do. You were having a conversation with us and answered questions without us having to raise them. Think I'll watch it again!
An excellent presentation, thank you. I am somewhat embarrassed to admit that I live less than five minutes from the Le Shuttle terminus and a mere hour from London, using HS1, but I have never travelled on Eurostar. Your production has spurred me on to do it! Nige
Eurostar is the BEST!
11:05 I've got to appreciate that attention to detail with that transition!
I used the Eurostar service many years ago when it still departed from London Waterloo (Int.) Station. I booked a day trip to Paris and I really enjoyed it, it is so much faster than the plane if you travel from one city centre to the other. Only thing that I remember on the negative side was the quite small seat spacing at that time in the old "TGV" like trains.
I remember Waterloo International, only used it once many years ago.
I did that trip too shortly after it was opened. Actually from London to Cologne with switching trains at Brussels. I found the seat rather straight, not conforming to the body. But at a traveling time of 1 hour or so it was endurable.
Day trip? wow
@@Sainsburys_Local Europe is small, it's just about 2 hours one way from London to Paris 😉
@@paul_nighttrain Indeed, it's about the same time/distance as London to York.
Sweet memory travelling with my father on 2006 using Eurostar from Victoria station to Paris norde de gard for 2 hours. I even took the picture of the entrance going to the tunnel. We went around Europe via Eurorail trains. Von Voyage!!!
I enjoyed your video very much. In my youth I was an American Soldier stationed in Southern Germany. I did quite a bit of travel on the Eurail Pass Days. I miss that trave very much having only been on one train trip here in the USA. Looking forward to future videos of your travels.
As Someone who has never traveled, I would definitely try this train when I leave my USA, Country for a European Vacation! Very well Documented!!!!

My wife and I travelled from London to Paris on Eurostar in mid April of 2010. It was an interesting and unforgettable trip. We were very impressed with the comfortable seats and and nice service on it. Weather was beautiful both in London and Paris.
We love to travel to Europe again and definitely will take a Eurostar trip from Paris to London like this soon when Covid-19 conditions are improved.
Many thanks for your update.

Thanks for watching! I hope you manage to get here soon. 😊
@@SuperalbsTravels you mean to say from London to Paris if you would like to travel again in Continental Europe.😊
Excellent video coverage with this beautiful Rail journey from Paris to London. Thanks for posting such a nice video. Best of luck for your future projects, performances and presentations.
I traveled on this route from London to Paris in 2017 and liked the journey immensely. Those days the train cruised at a top speed of 265 kph. That was the kind of speed I traveled at for the first time in life. Needless to say, I was greatly excited by the journey.
Yess
This definitely solidifies my stance on taking the train instead of flying on my upcoming trip! Thanks a lot for this super helpful video
Amazing video. Very detailed and well made. Prior to watching the video i didnt realize how much i miss paris, even though i was there only for a week. Gare do nord brings so many memories. Paris is such an amazing and magical place. Cant wait to visit the city again.
Glad you enjoyed it! :)
Thanks so much for this showcase! I always enjoy videos on train travel, especially through Europe and Africa!!! Great video! Cheers!
I travel from Paris to London on the Eurostar in August and absolutely loved. I wish we had a high speed train here in the states. I would to hop on the train from Los Angeles to Las Vegas l, or Washington DC to New York on a high speed rail. Once Americans experience the convenience of having high speed rail there is no turning back!
No doubt it would be great, but aren’t the US struggling to maintain their crumbling rail infrastructure?
Domestic airline carriers will object!
I`ve been on several Eurostar services to Paris but in Premier Class. I remember the first time, I was terrified of something involving water, happening half way through the tunnel. Now I don`t think twice because it has proved itself safe and convenient over the years, for many millions of passengers.

I was lucky to travel in Eurostar in 2014 from London to Paris - Today, thru your Video , I did the reverse journey. It's impressive & took me to my journey day & experiences.

Thank you, that sounds great. :)
Always wondered what this would be like. Obviously, comfortable, efficient, and nice scenery, avoiding the hassle and uncertainty of air travel. Thanks for the nice video-voyage!
Thanks, hopefully you can give it a try one day? :)
Eurostar seems to be the way to go. Definitely preferable to flying which incurs time and expense of to/from two airports in each of the directions. I felt the cost was fair for all the advantages. I was staying in Paris for a summer program in 1979 and took the Hovercraft in each direction. It was fun especially since it was sunny.
plus it is also the greenest option; by plane it is much more polluting
Love to try the hovercraft!
😅 KL ini di🎉😢😮😅😊❤n huhuhu
@@amesavisI would be curious if someone calculated the actual footprint of building and maintaining the tracks, trains, including the tunnel, instead of just conveniently comparing the occasional solar electricity to kerosine. I feel it's also a question of availability, it's not really a choice, for the vast majority of Europe fast trains are not available. Sure it's very convenient if you happen to live in Paris and happen to travel to London often (or one of the few major cities connected by high speed train).
planes are less efficient than trains but in this rushing time we live in, few care, and even fewer know jet fuel is kerosene@@bencze465
This ride is quite impossible for a poor Indian man like me. We just quench our thirst by watching your clip sir. Thank you so much.
It doesn't hurt to try, try to get rich
I am an Indian. My dream is to travel some day in this. Myself from a middle class. I don't know when my dream will come true .
@@sujithpillai1554 Don't worry bro. One day you will. I am also from India and by your surname I am assuming you are from the state of kerala like me. I live and work in the middle east. I was on vacation few months back on a mini euro trip covering Berlin, Prague, Vienna and Zurich. I traveled thru Europe all on trains and it was the best experience. Certainly better than flight. This video brought back a lot of memories as the landscape was similar. Very well made video. Hope you can experience it too, soon all the best
As you watched these videos, start seeing yourself traveling too. Visualize it in your mind. There was a time all I could do was watch videos of people traveling. I was so happy that people posted their traveling videos and pictures so I can visualize and actually see myself traveling to those places too. Now, I am traveling with my husband, children or sometimes solo. Last week, I created a RUclips channel to help people see the world as we visit these countries or when we stay locally in our own town.
Bro India is literally constructing a bullet train
Just a reminder : This is the most usefull high speed service in the world, it’s actually so useful that it buried every relations by plane on the same route
With Paris - Lyon, Madrid Barcelona and Brussels Paris close behind
I'd contest that the "most useful" high speed service is probably the Tokaido Shinkansen, from Tokyo to Yokohama, Nagoya, Kyoto and Osaka. They run as many as 13 trains per hour just to have enough room for everybody! There is no other high speed line in the world, to my knowledge, with such a high frequency. That's a 400 meter long train nearly every four minutes.
Bonus: seats on the Shinkansen N700S recline all the way back to a 45 degree angle so you can sleep comfortably.
A bold claim ! I would say that some of the HS routes in Japan/S Korea/China are as useful. As for "buried every relations by plane on the same route" ... yes you are correct when travelling to Paris or Brussels. But have you checked how many flights there are to Amsterdam from several London airports ?
@@alexmcwhirter6611 Nope they are not. The HSL between Paris Bruxelles and London aren’t just high speed lines, it’s a really big thing and a reason why a lot of strangers visit those countries in the first place, the channel tunnel is a world known monument, on top of being the most profitable HIgh speed route in the world. Amsterdam to London is a different thing because it’s not as close as Brussels and Paris. You can go to London in 1hr40, city to city, how the hell do you want to beat that lol, it’s unfair
@@fugf1623 ironically London to Amsterdam by air is around 220 miles so the train takes a longer route. As for profitability this would be impossible to prove (rail industry is secretive) but Japan has far more HS trains between Tokyo and Osaka and China now has a huge and busy HS network. With China check its latest Fuxing HS trains where the business class seats are similar to first class on long-haul flights. Now if only Europe's rail operators had something like that !
Brilliant review! 👍🏻👍🏻. And much appreciate the new review style 😉
Thanks, love the feedback, there's more to come!
Several years ago a friend and I were traveling from Paris to London. We were scheduled to fly but I opted to pay for us to take the Eurostar, and even went to the added expense of booking first class seats to celebrate the journey. I was so looking forward to experiencing the "Chunnel" portion of the trip. Well....after we had our dinner service we were both so tired we fell asleep and woke up in England. All that money and I SLEPT through the chunnel. LOL Oh well....I really enjoyed the trip.
Thank you for taking us along. I praying one day I will take my mom on one of these fancy train rides, I know she will enjoy it. Love your videos.
Thank you so much, I hope you can treat her to this one day. 🙏
I loved the video. This is one trip that is on my bucket list. Thank you.
Thank you, hope you can give it a go soon! :)
Well done with the video! Just to inform U all, that I was on the Eurostar from Paris to London on the 5/7/22! I had a Premier standard ticket thru an Interrail global pass flexible 4 days over 1 month! The section was extremely crowded to go thru customs passport control n vaccination check on the phone! It was awesomely crowed , apparently a few other Eurostars were waiting to be boarded and departure
All was very perfectly organized! No panic or stress by passengers to be rushed! Well done to that!!!!
Finally being on the train it’s exactly as U reported now on your video!
I had standard premier tickets
- very good leg space and got light breakfast served!
I noticed , The speed was instead of 300 km/hr - they did and REACHED A MASSIVE MAGIC SPEED OF 334 km/hr / they announced it proudly on the board - we topped the top speed!!
WELL DONE - I loved it!
On the 15/7/22 I went on the Eurostar from London to Brussels - with a stopover in Lille! We arrived on time in Brussels Midi Station!!
I am sorry for the epistle but I was so impressed with the performances of the Eurostar’s that I had to tell U all about my experience with this FANTASTIC TRAIN!
Anyone, can get in contact with me for further chats on Facebook - Wilfried Lechner - Bregenz ( I hope I am allowed to do that n it won’t be edited out! ) My DREAM would be to meep a Eurostar train driver and I could chat with him!!!!😁😁
I spoke to an ICE driver in Frankfurt when I saw them stepping out of their cabin. Very friendly m interesting what they mentioned!
That’s it guys. God bless!
Thanks for the comment! Worrying to hear they checked for vaccines, that's no requirement for entry to UK.
@@SuperalbsTravels SORRY MY MISTAKE: Vaccination check was done before boarding Eurostar to Brussels! Please my apologies to everyone for the confusion!
In the 1950s I worked on the Continental Enquiry Desk in the ticket office at Victoria Station, then the London terminus of the service to Gare Du Nord, Paris, and made the 8 hr trip several times. Things seem to have changed a little since then! Interesting to see how.
Thanks for this review. I’ve got great affection for Eurostar and it has certainly given me some fantastic opportunities for reasonably priced and quick travel options, as well as being able to see friends and family with ease. As an NZ visitor to both London and Paris I've used this service several times in standard class (pre-COVID) and have always enjoyed it from a comfort, value and convenience perspective. I'm guessing the Chinese high speed trains, which I've also travelled on a number of times, were the inspiration, they are very similar but with really outstanding on-train service. Great stuff. An enjoyable video. Thanks for sharing.
Hello Howard, yes those HS lines in China were inspired by HS rail both in Europe and Japan/South Korea/Taiwan. China has now leap-frogged the above networks with its Fuxing trains which offer first class airline seating for its business class. See below.

Thanks, glad you enjoyed! It's funny you should mention Chinese high-speed trains, as much of those were actually based on a design very similar to the Eurostar trains today.
@@SuperalbsTravels Absolutely. I mean China never began constructing its HS network until the 1990s. Before than no sane overseas visitor would consider taking the train as travel times were so lengthy. The new generation of HS trains show an advance on what we have in Europe (with the possible exception of Trenitalia's Frecciarossa 1000). See below.

I doubt the Chinese high speed trains could be the inspiration for the Eurostar?
@@papunkansabanik2490 Not at all. Please click on the link I provided above and you will see for yourself. In fact what Eurostar offers (on its Siemens trains) is similar to what DB provides on its ICE as regards seating. My wife and I travelled from London to Paris in March 2013. It was a very exciting experience. I had a speedometer app in my iPhone. When I turned it on I found the speed to be 310 Km/h! The total travel including wait time was less than travelling by air.

In 2008 my daughter and I spent a week in London and did a day trip of Paris using Eurostar. In 2014 we did a Trafalgar 16 day trip of Europe that mainly used rail for travel. This brought back great memories of riding Eurostar and like you also enjoyed seeing both train stations. I just liked and subscribed. Well done. From St. Louis.

Happy memories. I discovered that if you pre-purchase online moths in advance at a cheap price it is often possible to speak with the train manager (usually in car 9) and pay for an upgrade. The upgrade includes food and doesn't cost much more than buying food in Standard.
Sitting at home I have travel abroad, thanks to your video.
Wow, glad you enjoy. Thanks for watching!
I in turn thank you again.
Wonderful video. This certainly puts to shame the terrible lack of high speed train service in the US. The east coast is about the only place train service is close to being adequate and convenient. I live in Phoenix, AZ,the 5th largest city in the country and there is no rail service here and a light rail in its infancy thanks to political party indifference. This reminds me of my visits to many places in the UK and Paris. Thank you!
Thank you! The US rail network is a real shame...
Hopefully things will change soon, we are taking baby steps in the right direction
There's nothing in a 200 mile radius of Phoenix so HSR is not applicable there. Flying is far superior out here. Los Angeles is 373 miles away so that would take two hours, assuming they didn't do the route based on political considerations like California High Speed Rail and went down the median of the highway...but why spend the money when the private sector can get you there in an hour by flying?
Worse is in my country the trains are all garbage
The train in this video is non stop between the capital of UK and the capital of France ---also the largest city in each country.
There is no comparable route in the United States, not even between Washington DC and New York.
Washington DC to Ottawa? I don't think so.
Certainly your pissant city of Phoenix would not have such service.
A wonderful experience we had the privilege of going twice and will not forget it.
Kudos bravo, I have had a Euro Star experience without spending any time, effort or money.
Please accept my sincerest thanks n appreciation for ur work.
I feel like shud be paying u in some way otherwise it wudn't be fair really !!!
As an American my best train experience tops out as the light rail commuter train in Phoenix, Arizona. I am living vicariously through videos like these. Thanks.
would suggest you to try Amtrak Acela
Love the Eurostar, take it whenever I can, couldn’t imagine life as a European immigrant in London without it. I do find it a bit surprising, though, that you (and several of your train reviewer colleagues!) find the seats to be comfortable. Granted, I’m on the taller/bigger side, but even with the little adjustable seat lip I basically just sit in agony on the e320s the whole way. I find the armrests incredibly cramped, especially in window seats, and there’s something about the shape of those seats - probably the lower bit of the backrests? - that make for some of the least comfortable sitting on any modern rail vehicle I’ve encountered. Sitting on London tube trains for over an hour honestly feels more comfortable than an uninterrupted hour in an e320 seat.
What am I missing? Do the train seat gods just have it out for me?
Great video btw, love the channel, keep it up :)
Its probably a lack of lumbar support, thats usually the culprit for uncomfortable seats in my experience. There's lumbar pillows you can buy and carry onto the Eurostar, hopefully it could help?
@@trashrabbit69 I'll give it a try next time, thx!
I don't find the shape of the seat that big of an issue, it's the lack of legroom and the hard seat for me. Though this is the second review I have watched that actually complemented the padding. Perhaps the seats softened up since the last time I rode an e320 or refurbished e300. Still beats airplanes in terms of comfort though.
@@jlust6660 yeah def beats planes. i think it's the expectation that it'll be sooo much better than Ryanair/wizzair that ruins the experience
Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed!
Thank you for the video. Fantastic journey. ❤
Thanks for watching! :)
I think the 90 minute before departure rule is also partly due to Brexit. I remember being asked rather strange questions by border control at Gare du Nord post Brexit… Also, the Business Premier lounge is not accessible only to Business Premier travellers - passengers who hold an AmEx Platinum card or Carte Blanche Eurostar status also have access. (The lounges in Paris and London are extremely nice, by the way😋)
Great video, big fan of the new format :)
Indeed. It's partly because of Brexit (more checks required) and the sheer volume of travellers. Consider the newer Siemens trains accommodate almost 900 pax ... that's like two A380s ! I have been following E* 's fortunes since it launched from Waterloo in 1994. At that time the check-in was roughly 10 to 20 mins before departure !
20 minutes sounds great! :O
And thanks by the way!
@@SuperalbsTravels 10 minute before departure check in still possible… only for Business Premier or Carte Blanche !
@@alexmcwhirter6611 did that in 2009 from frankfurt to london/euston. 25 min changeover in brussels-midi and then off to the UK. absolutely amazing! total travel time from city centre to city centre was roughly 5 1/2hrs, can't beat that with a plane, even with crossrail. but alas, those where the good olden days^^.
Hey brother. Love your videos. Your channel + Simply Aviation = a Saturday afternoon well-spent.
On my first trip on a TGV cruising along at 300 km/h, I had the crap scared out of me the first time we met another TGV training cruising at 300 km/h in the opposite direction. I really liked your video. But as a person who has never been on a train that goes under water, I was really curious about how the underwater construction of the tunnel was built and wanted to see what it looked like. All I got to see was total darkness. The train's speed was impressive and amazing at how short a time it covered that distance. Unfortunately, it won't be something I wouldn't ever be able to afford to do. That is what was so exciting about watching your video. Thank you for the experience. I still would like to know how the tunnel was built.
Picture a giant steel worm with spinning blades on its nose, then it burrows under the sea bed
Very well made and presented video.
I elected to use the Eurostar on a trip from Australia, the only surprise I had was I thought the luggage rack area was a bit small considering there were a lot of people with luggage. Coming from Australia we were on the road for 5 weeks so both had big bags & carry on bags. In the end, the ride was fantastic, especially considering we arrived right in the middle of Paris. I had to run out to the front of the station to get my "Jason Borne" photo of the front facade and then go back to find the taxi rank. All in all a great experience. Re the taxi, I had taken the trouble of writing down the name & address of the hotel as I assumed the taxi driver would only speak French, perfect English, and a very nice chap as well.
The majority of this station is not heated. If you are traveling during the winter months, plan to arrive one hour before your departure.
Thank you for the video. As far as the narrow "compartment" above your folding seat back table...I'm assuming it's a grip (instead of gripping the top of the chair and annoying the person sitting in front of you) to assist you getting out of your seat. Here in the states that space would be used for unwanted wrappers, used tissues,...
Yeah, that's what a few people said. Think you might be right!
@@SuperalbsTravels I believe it is a literature pocket. Prior to Covid (and removing as many touch points as possible) paper items such as emergency instructions and sometimes a cafe car menu were there.

Great trip between two powerhouse cities. Like the 3D overhead map shots of the stations.
Thanks for the feedback, and glad you enjoyed!
It is incredible - two cities separated by a vast expanse of land and sea, yet so comfortably connected by rail transport
I travelled from London to Paris on the Eurostar back in 2000. It certainly looks more comfortable and faster in 2023! I was quite young then, so a lot of the details (train station names, stops, general service) escape me, but I have fond memories. I was born in the UK and raised in Australia, so returning to London for the first time was a big deal for me.
Thanks for an informative review. It would be interesting to see what it's like now that many COVID restrictions have been lifted.

Fantastic video review with a wonderfully articulate & descriptive narration. I really enjoyed this video. Thanks. Definitely inspires me to use the Euro Star one day.
I definitely think the Eurostar process with checking in like at an airline into an "Airside" region is really weird and honestly detracts from the value of it. Not to mention inhibits Eurostars reach within Europe. Like IDK about you but I'd prefer it if all the formalities and checks only happened at 3 stations. St Pancras, Ebbsfleet Intl. and Ashford Intl. so that all that stuff could be kept to as few locations as possible, as well as allow for the Eurostar to reach more destinations throughout the continent and also allow for trips between midway destinations like Amsterdam-Calais for example, or even more if Eurostar were to reach further out.
The whole problem is the UK's ridiculous political decision not to join in with the Schengen agreement (not to mention Brexit) which has, and will continue to, hamper growth in UK to European rail travel. We've used the London to Marseille service a few times between Ashford and Avignon and the 'Lille Shuffle' is really annoying, and I'm sure puts off many travellers.
And Eurostar will not be serving those two stations in Kent until at least 2023. This annoys those travellers near the Channel ports who have to make a lengthy back track to London if they wish to use E*.
I don't like it either, it also happens in Turkey and Spain. 😕
One issue with E* is that, right from the start in 1994, it has considered itself more of an airline than a train operator. It's always considered itself a 'cut above' other rail operators.
@@alexmcwhirter6611 Yes, that was one of their main marketing strategies. Airport style stations (Ashford Intl), check-ins and not a mention of trains or railways in the name
We have enjoyed the journey. Wow. Great experience. Yes. It's a real underwater journey. 😍❤️👍
The Eurostar Class 374 E320 Velaro trains are very smooth, quick and less noisier compare to the Class 373 E300. And I have been to Paris on the train couple times when I was very young. Including to Disneyland Paris.
Might depend on where you sit. Alstom sets ought to less noisy as they have no engines underneath the coaches as do the Siemens units.
Never knew about that.
I too have memories of using the service. It's an amazing route!

Thank you for this wonderful and well done video,i enjoyed viewing it so much,i have travelled to the UK twice in 1976 and again in 1978 with my parents and young sister and B/inlaw.. As the Chunnel (tunnel) wasn't built then it would be something i would have loved to have done, the rail trip on to Paris and return to wonderful London one of my favorite cities, and to enjoy a Pint,, Thank you again, and Greetings from Australia 👍 🍺
Much nicer than the cramped facilities at St Pancras after check in.
Yeah, I've had one to Weymouth too...
Absolutelly Great Video Thank You for sharing 😍
Much more civilised than flying nowadays
I agree but having a 90 mins check-in (mentioned in the video) is making rail more like air !
@@alexmcwhirter6611 Agree. Flying is faster when you factor in the 90 minutes check in for a high speed train... The advantage of high speed ltains was to avoid the airline check in, not anymore...
@@ronclark9724 In some ways E* is more like an airline than a train operator. So just like an airline you can reduce the check in time by booking Business Premier class but this costs substantially more.
Just my opinion, but it is significantly more enjoyable than flying and much easier when you factor in security allowing more liquids etc. however it is quite a bit more expensive, so it just depends what you’d rather prioritise. Personally I preferred it, but if you’re on a budget flying probably is better
Decent informative video for luxurious beautiful train comfortable travelling from France to London by high speed fast train.

Watching this from Perth WA. Absolutely awesome. Thank you🥰🙋🏼♀️
I love how literally everyone is using COVID as an excuse to not get things done, and still going into fear-mongering mode for a virus that has long become an endemic thing now.
Thankfully many countries are finally moving on, just like here in the UK. 😁
@@SuperalbsTravels yeah, even my country which is basically commie hellhole (Venezuela) is already moving on as well, since the beginning of the year actually, thank goodness x.x
Enjoyed a lot. Not only landscape & interior of the Eurostar but also your commentary.
Thank you very much!
Thank you for this preview!
Excellent video. Loved this. Answered all my questions.
Speaking from India🙏Hyderabad! Never been abroad till date. However, very much impressed with the Eurostar trains in it's entirety! Thank you! Just one thing, i felt the Indian Railways with it's platforms, people, hustle bustle so typical of Indian way of life is still the best, though we have still a long way to go. A train journey in India has it's own challenges but we have improved a lot and feel proud too! Best wishes!
