Thanks for the comments Ian, we've had two and half years with the vehicle now and have done numerous long trips here and in Europe. Enjoy your Caravelle, I know you will. regards Arif
Hi - yes you can take out the bench seat and leave it with only 4 seats. In fact you can take out all the back seats and make it into a proper load carrying van. Hope that helps.
When will you upload a new video of your van it is my dream car and this is a really good channel I would love to find out more about your van and everything it can do.
Can you pleeeeeeeeeeaaase do a video on how to remove the rear bench and second row seats, because if you can do it fairly easily, then I will definitely buy one!
The thing is the Caravelle is much better to drive than the Grand Voyager - despite it being considerably bigger and more flexible. You also get the 4 wheel drive with this which isn't available in the Grand Voyager in the UK. Also the residuals are much much better on the VW range. Personally I don't think there is much of a choice as long as you can handle the dimensions of the Caravelle. But then again I am fairly biased towards the T5 range and thats why i have one.
hi whats the running cost of one of these? mpg/range of a tank? tax? full tank of fuel? im thinking of getting one as my partners brother dont drive and when there visiting theres 8 of us and id use it to pull my caravan/transport trailer thanks
Hi there, I work for a charity and we are looking for a van which can carry quite a few people and still have space for our goods, what are your thoughts on this, do you think this would be appropriate for such needs? Thank you!
Dear Chris, it is a spacious people carrier - the VW Caravelle seats 7 and is a bit plusher than the transporter shuttle. The transporter shuttle is available with unto 9 seats. Both Caravelle and Transporter shuttle are available in long wheelbase guise - so that gives you enough space in the back for luggage. The one i have is a Short Wheelbase so you it would have far more luggage area in the long wheelbase. These vans are probably the best in the market (in my opinion) - the build quality, reliability and strong resale values make them the premium end of the market. Definitely recommend if you are the market for a people transporter with space.

Nice Mpv. Still hasn't got as many features as the Grand Voyager but a close second.

Caravelle? I think this is Multivan.
klopatnik in the UK, the Caravelle is the European Multivan. For some reason they swapped the names round!
