She does a bit of presenting for Fully Charged. But that's quite a small fraction of a job. 'Various bits of EV advocacy' I think, which can presumably be cobbled together into a (relatively frugal) career.
I also like small cars. Small, with tight turning circles, which is why I like the Nissan Leaf. Teslas are too wide for me to be totally comfortable around town. Don't get wrong, I own a Tesla Model X and absolutely love it. It is super comfortable for motorway driving.
160 miles yr (5km/week) is very impressive, especially for an American. Hardly worth hanging on to the car. Even I drive more than that (although not this year - car hasn't moved since march)
The arse making is in your opinion only. I remember the EV1. It fascinated me greatly. I didn't like the strange aerodynamic rear though. Maybe if I saw it in real life. That a car driven by battery could accelerate and be so strong and fast really got to me. I reckon GM has a Tesla killer in the oven? ;-)
Unexpected collab. Fun :) Chelsea, Tesla and Elon have done questionable things and it's a curious mess these days but I figure that if you admit to wanting a Model 3 (maybe performance), it's more likely to come into your life. It's hard to suggest to Elon that he should facilitate one for you somehow, if you state publicly that you don't want one. If we are being nuanced about Tesla.
Wow great one....you know what ....I enjoyed ty.....also have to comment on that ring on your finger.....did you marry already......or back with ex. ??? Stop making us wait ...what ev are you looking for / at??
Oh... that... :-) Yeah, I guess the ring is kinda noticeable. I might have slightly got a little married to someone else. Just keep it between you, me and the internet!
As I understand the EV1 was never for sale, just hire. What did GM do with the revoked cars after they scrapped the EV1 hiring programme? City dump or museum? :-O
This is really a great channel and I love your content!
You're too kind. You'll make my head swell. :D
Chelsea should be driving a Model 3! Elon, give our girl a free Model 3...
Great and fun video Gavin. Thank you
Thanks, Rado. It was always intended to be just a little fun and not a serious interview. The world has enough of those already.
Chris Pane and Chelsea Sexton planted the EV seeds with the popular eye-opening movie "Who Killed the Electric Car".
Yes! That was the movie that got me off the sofa and into the garage to convert my old car to electric!
Two EV legends!
Haha, how much do I owe you for that compliment? The usual fee? :D
Kiwi EV adventures Sure :)
You either die a hero or you live long enough to see yourself become the villain.
Wow !!!!!
Star of the - Who killed the electric car !!!!
It’s incredible she does not drive an EV now.
It was awesome to finally meet her. I'll be honest, I was as nervous as heck!
Kiwi EV adventures
Is she still part of pluginAmerica?
@@KiwiEVadventures it shows. Lol.
Awesome video Gav! If money was no object I'd have an EV1! With current battery technology!
I wish GM would make another world beater like the EV1. Actually, I'd love to convert a classic car. Just need to win the lottery!
@@KiwiEVadventures Which classic car would it be? :-)
Very interesting interview with Chelsea, regards from the Netherlands.
What actually is Ms Sexton's everyday job?

Plotting the death of oil :-)
Take that ring off bro ❤ great video btw, you didnt make an ass of yourself! :)

You never asked her what she was doing in NZ...
Unexpected collab. Fun :)

Kiwi EV adventures Again!!!!! Oh noooo!
Ahoj. Podľa tohto videa isudzujrm že si Slovák. A čo je zaujímavejšie máš rovnaku krvnú skupinu ako ja. Tvoj kanál sa mi začína páčiť. Len tak ďalej.
For a single dollar price limit, McDonald's is the best coffee you can get.
Ahhh, thought she was going to be a Greenie/hippie type. “no I don’t want no drink, because of all the packaging. I brought my thermos”.
Nah, she was really easy going. We ended up having a great chat after we'd finished filming (and I finally stopped being nervous).

Most were crushed, but a small handful were disabled and donated to universities under the strict instruction never to try and make them run.
You can not compare any company to gm because they have one of the three worst reps for reliability along Ford and Chrysler!
What your country copied the Canadian design for the money! Lol
I'm pretty sure the polymer money was invented in Australia haha
