Although I don't have the si model I am so glad that you guys do videos on most things that I'm looking at doing to my car. They are very helpful
+Michelle Diamond We're glad they're able to help! :)
So glad you posted this. This is next on my list.
Thanks this video help out for my 2012 Honda Civic the shop wanted a 150 a camber arm and I bought Jdm ones for 89.00 then asked them how much to put on they said 80 a side I did it my self in 20 minuets max thanks
+Duncan Vaughn Glad to know the video was able to help you save some money!
PRO Car Studio thanks once again I hope to watch more videos for my Honda if I have any questions I’ll let you guys know
id like to see a subframe brace and rear sway bar install please.
I wish you showed it on the more difficult side with the exhaust..
Thank you for the video.
where can i get the adapter i bought the truhart kit and it was just the control arms that came with it
I’m having issues with my LCA’s. When the tech went to install them the 14mm bolt behind the hub wouldn’t fit through the spacers provided to tighten up the bolt. Any recommendations?
They are the same in the 8th gen? Or vice versa fits?
Just got the silver/aluminum color delivered yesterday, cant wait to get this kit installed.
pro civic how much do you think a mechanic will charge me for labor??
+David Rivera For just installing the parts, a mechanic will probably charge about an hour of labor, so will be $80 to $100 depending on where you live. If you want a full alignment done on your car, that would probably be $50 to $60 extra.
+ProCivic.com just got it done today for 130 , tomorrow I'll get an alignment. Right now it's negative cambered one is more than the other side, but the Corning feels amazing. I think I'll keep it slightly neg , but my question is how much is just right for some aggressive Corning without compromising tire wear? -0.03?
+David Rivera You only have -0.03 camber right now? You should be able to run up to about -1.75 or -2.00 without affecting tire wear much, but still improving cornering response.
I'm going to order D2 coilovers from your website but I'm not sure if I need to order camber kit as well ? I have Honda Civic 16 sedan.
does this fit on 2013 Honda Civic LX
I have an '08 Civic EX-L and was looking for a professional and clean install video like this but for HID lights and fog lights. I was hoping to find a quality set and not just the first thing off of eBay. Any help is appreciated.
try xentec they have good hits
+rsilinnyc We do offer quality HID lights as well. I will include the link here for further review: www.procivic.com/pages-product_car_part_info/category-71_171/product-962/index.html?+xenon+bulb+conversion+kit
Good day. This video is really helpfull to me. I just want to ask if do you guys still remember or know what measurement of the skunk2 camber kit before i install to have an 0 camber and save the wear of the tire and havin a alignment on a shop LOL. By the way am using a d2 lowering springs 2.0 drop all over on a 2015 honda civic si sedan. Hope i get the right answer. More power.
+Antonio Mabazza Unfortunately, this is not possible to answer since the settings will be unique to every car. In order to have this adjusted back to a stock setting or 0, it would need to be measured and adjusted at an alignment shop.
Question! I recently lowered my si on coils and the back wheels tuck in slanted, would camber arms help it put back to look as if it was stock?? Also do I need some for the front wheels?
Yes, the camber kit will help resolve this issue. As for the front, you would have to have these checked to see if they are still in spec or will need a camber kit too.
@@procivic Thank you so much for the reply!
hey rudy with this kit do i extend the arm if i wanna remove the negative camber? due to lowering my vehicle (im just trying to have an even rear tire wear)
Yes, extend the arm to get more positive camber.
Would you suggest the cheaper rear control arms on your website compared to these? Or is there an actual benefit for putting the skunk 2’s over the cheaper ones?
Thanks. If I can save 100 bucks helps a lot.
Also in your opinion what is the best coilovers to you guys for the 9th gens? Thanks again. I always buy my stuff from you guys lol. And I just got a new 9th gen and I gotta redo the suspension again. My tein coilovers + skunk 2 camber arms were fine on my last 9th but I’m trying to see if I can do the suspension even better this time. I actually got a 4 door just like y’alls 😆 thanks again
Please email us at customercare@procivic.com for more suggestions. Our customer service reps will be happy to help you.
I bought 18x9 with +26mm offset rims and I don't know what measurement does the camber kit need. I have tein lowering springs already installed, I'm aware I have to roll the rear fenders but I don't know what adjustment does the camber kit need.
+Steven Acevedo Camber needs to be set by an alignment shop for proper settings. This simply allows them more control over camber.
Awesome thanks alot for the help!
i have a 2008 si and bought the god speed kit. i took it to my local shop and they said its 5 hours of work bc you have to remove the differential. thats at 80 a hr. sounds like bs to me. i was thinking some one that knew what they were doing with the right tools could do it in a few hours. is ut really a 400 dollar job?
I am not sure about the God Speed kit, but this Skunk2 one is quite easy to install and definitely not a $400 job.
I found another place that did it for 180, which I still think is to much. I supplied the arms and it took them a hour. Better than the 400 though. Went right from there to get new rear tires and 4 wheel alignment. Made a huge difference., but new tires always do/did. Ill just have to see if i need new rears again in 15k or if i can make the 45k like i should be able to.
quero comprar pro meu civic 2014 como faço
Does this camber kit replace the rear control arms & does this help out with alignment issues if your car is at normal height?
This will replace the rear upper control arm. If the camber is slightly off on your vehicle, this can help in correcting it as long as there are no other issues.
Does this model fit a 07 civic because I was looking & there are 2 models the 0665 & the 0625, Are they both the same Or is each specific to the Car model?
i have to check my kit again, i dont think i have the adapters you mentioned. i have a 13 coupe, i dont know if i need to order the adapters or not
+ebp609si It should have included them. It would not be possible to install this without them.
+ProCivic.com i really have to check my package after work, do you think they can be purchased from you guys/ skunk2 just in case?
+ebp609si Please email customercare@procivic.com for advice on what can be done if they were not included
what if you have a different trim other than an si, but the civic is still a 2013 model, so would this kit fit?
+Matthew Lara Yes, this will fit all 2012-2015 models.
ok, thanks
@ procivic.com is installing a camber kit 100% necessary if you do coil overs? (d2 coil overs) or does it depend how low you go with the coil overs?
+nikkieXI It is not required, but highly recommended. This does also depend also on how low you go. The lower it is, the further it is out of spec.
@provcivic does the type one racing camber kit have a similar adjusting telescope like the skunk 2?
+dary palce I'm sorry, we do not have details on the other brand mentioned
I only have one question if you install lowers springs in a 2013 civic si you also need to install the camber kit? I need help please
Joseph Ortiz depends how much you lowered your car. Check the specs for your car as each is different. but usually u do. don't forget u will also have to change the shocks and struts if you lowered ur car a lot
FlamingAssassin3 I just want to go down like 2.25 inches so I do not know if I need to do all that for me is not much low
Joseph Ortiz that is actually pretty low for the civic. You will definately need a camber kit, otherwise you will wear the hell out of your tires
Yep, what FlammingAssasin3 said. :)
PRO Car Studio you need shox and struts? Where do you find those for the 9ths?
How many negative degrees of camber can you put on with this camber arm?
Zbo Paycolo 3+ / 3-
So 12 and 5/8s is the adjustment for a regular oem arm camber setting?
That will depend on the arm. Not all aftermarket camber arms will be exactly the same. It's best to always measure during and after install.
@@procivic Your measurements match the OEM arm. I measured and matched after I removed it. Tip for the exhaust side, it helps when you push the exhaust pipe back a little to reach the bolts.
can you guys do a hondata tuned on a 9gen ex or lx pleas
Do the adapters come with the kit? Or is the adapter necessary?
+Freddy Solis Yes, the adapters are included as well
Buen video, felicidades
this sounds really stupid but do the d2 coils come with struts and shocks or is that the coil
jakeromero86 fronts are one piece. shock and spring together. the rears are separate. springs separate. and shocks separate. I'm sure if you buy it kit it comes with all the necessary parts.
+jakeromero86 It is standard struts on the front (Shocks and springs are together), the rear has separate shocks and separate springs. See this video on how they are installed: ruclips.net/video/VThXWWTArDM/видео.html
Doe these fit the lx sedan?
I need a camber kit is this better than the DME?
+Jonathan Bolanos Both kits work under the same principle, but the DME is considered more of an entry level camber kit.
Where do you get the adapters that hold the camber in place??
+2,526,283 Views I'm not understanding the question. The kit should be able to adjust, correct, and hold the camber with everything that is included with the kit.
Ok thanks
2,526,283 Views so I bought a TruHart camber kit and it didn't come with the adapters for the 14mm bolt that holds the rotor or brake section. The section where you adjust the camber at. Do they sell those separately?
PRO Car Studio so I bought a TruHart camber kit and it didn't come with the adapters for the 14mm bolt that holds the rotor or brake section. The section where you adjust the camber at. Do they sell those separately?
@@betinis916 did you ever find out
Were you using a 3/8 or 1/2 inch drive?
I will have to see if Rudy still remembers. Thanks for checking out our channel; much appreciated.
i bought some Godspeed camber arms, but it came with washers, where do the washers go?
We do not sell that brand, so I can't answer your question. Sorry!
RBC or skunk 2 intake manifold.
HID retrofit
Is this the same for an ex as well?
Yes, it will work on all trim levels for this generation.
HELP PLEASE!! Why don't they make a front camber arm kit?
+jakedodsonjake The 9th gen si only has a lower control arm, no upper arms like the rear. The only simple way to control camber on the front is with camber bolts or a camber plate.
Makes sense now, thanks a lot!!
What is the difference between adjusting the outer joint and the middle nut? For example do you only adjust the outer joint when you middle nut is maxed out?
Adjusting the middle will adjust itself and the outer joint. As for your second question, no. The middle nut should never max out on it's own. If it does max out, it'll max out the joint as well.
Thanks man, I just watched your camber arm review. It's very clear in that video. Super helpful!
does this work for coupes? 2014
+John Vang Yes, this will work for all 2012-2015 civics.
Weapon r manifold please
Anyone have this with Eibach Pro kit?
Is there a way to measure how much torque you tighten it without buying a digital torque wrench? Like is there a way to guesstimate?
Will it work on a 2009 TSX? I need negative camber for the wheels I'm getting , what do you recommend I get? Hoping for a reply and maybe a text ? For info
407 seven 9 seven 2 nine eigh O
+byBirthh This particular kit will not. But we do have camber kits for this vehicle on our sister site. Please follow the link provided: www.proimporttuners.com/parts/2009-acura/tsx-camber-kit.html?ctid=528
haha my names Rudi and I like Honda's too
+Rudi Van Wyk :)
rbc swap
Why?
want to see how it install
there's alot of DIYs on the forums that are extremely detailed. but if you plan to do one i think you should think twice because an rbc manifold causes you to lose ALOT of torque only for 2hp on the top end.
first
do you also need the camber bolts in the front?
+abraham bravo This will depend on how low you decide to lower the vehicle.
+PRO Civic.com well its lowered already thats the thing
+abraham bravo It would not hurt to already have them, but it is best to have an alignment shop confirm if you need them. In most cases, it's the rear that suffers the most in terms of camber.
Hey mines came with washer for the camber arms, where do the washers go? To the body?
+abraham bravo These normally do not have washer included with them since they reuse most of the original hardware. If you purchased them from us, contact our customercare@procivic.com for more technical help.
